And it's a good joke.

Here's a list of reasons why we're better than the current management

Noone involved in the Save Interplay campaign ever worked on Superman 64
Noone involved in the Save Interplay campaign has ever had a Bankruptcy order served upon them, or to any companies they run
Noone involved in the Save Interplay campaign ever worked on Fallout:Brotherhood of Steel

Not my cup of tea but considering that people were interested in some of the comics signaled here maybe they will be interested in this one:
BAD KARMA VOLUME ONE

BAD KARMA VOLUME ONE is a collection of original comic book stories, prose and illustration, by four acclaimed creators, with help from some of the top comic artists and illustrators in the industry.

Featuring five original concepts in self-contained stories, BAD KARMA will be a custom 7 1/2" x 12", 200 page, full color hardcover book, specially produced for this Kickstarter campaign.

In other news the Godzilla MMO got funded:

This probably was posted here before, but search is disabled so blow me:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1317934609/forsaken-fortress

Forsaken Fortress - the survival RPG
A special RPG in which you assemble your team, build and manage your base, collect resources, and survive in a post-apocalyptic world

You post about a project that has not only been posted about in this thread, but has a thread of it's own, AND has already ended it's funding period?

:hmmm:

Well, depends on how much someone trust the guys behind this project, at the moment they are still at the concept stage.

Now, anyone ready for a trip into lalaland?
Probably you remember Lore, a project made by Prosper's long lost dyslectic cousin that failed to raise one million and half, well, they launched a new campaign asking for a tenth of their original goal but this time has began to look almost legit and so far has raised more than ten thousand dollars.
Remember this?

Well, now has become this:

Here is the list of all the crowd-funded projects I am aware of that are related to the Elite campaign, basically all these people are trying to raise money to reclaim the writer's package tier:

So, should I add these projects to the list as well?
What's your opinion Blaine?

Grab the Codex by the pussy
The "published author" referred to in your list is one Drew Wagar, whose bibliography largely comprises Oolite fan fiction. These august works of literature are self-published in electronic format, and seem to be offered free of charge.

It's physically impossible for me to care less than I already do about derivative twaddle. I suppose you're asking my opinion as a because it's fun to try to get my goat with regard to space sim crowdfunding projects? In any case, you have my answer.

I didn't want to be That Guy, but I failed a saving throw and must say: and nothing of value was lost.
Demo was kinda boring but I feel it had potential. With some story-telling and perhaps slightly faster-paced turns (maybe it's possible to turn on quick turns for CPU) it could be really good.

So they donated $10k of their own money to get the $395, they realized after that Kickstarter and Amazon take a 10% cut?

Would be good advertising actually. They can advertise it as a Kickstarter funded game, even if they lost money if it were the developers funding it themselves.

It looked like a bunch of derp to me. It's got nothing to do with starcraft, other than being an RTS. And judging by the screenshots it looks like one of those facebook persistant RTSs more than a traditional one.

Still, we're talking about it, and thousands have become aware of it, and they get to add the Kickstarter brand to their game. And all it would have cost them was a few hundred dollars.
