Kingdom Come combat is awful

Or are you talking about KCD2 cos I'm pretty sure they are still in that
They said they overhauled combat in the sequel so it feel like they orginally wanted it to. Master strikes are still in, but will be more challenging to execute (something to do with "having to actively match the stance of the opponent").

Ah yes, the typical fanboy returns. Can't defend their game worth a damn so they resort to plain insulting the people who slight their game.

They love to go rooting around in peoples posting history looking for something they think they can use as an argument. Just as predictable as ever.

Which mod removes master strikes?

KCD. The 'Lite Edition' file of Better Combat is what I use. Install it manually and it works perfectly.

I would also install the remove slow-mo mod on top of it.

The only problem with this mod is that it's going to be harder to win clinch fights unless your strenght is way higher than the opponent. There's a value you can change if that bothers you. Forgot what it was if you skim through the comments on Nexus you'll find people talking about it.

I'd say that's a bonus, since clinch spam exploit is also a thing. Only people don't mention it much since masterstrikes are so OP as to make such exploits unnecessary

Sure, but it's also annoying if you are just going to lose clinch fights every single time.

I'd say try it first and if you think the default is a bit too much there's a way to tweak it.

It makes sense when a game filters players out in tactics or strategy.

What the f*ck is the point of filtering people on how deep in sh*t they are, understanding the controls of a SINGLE video game.

KCD1 combat is one of the best ever when masterstrikes are modded out and combat is 1v1

It becomes clunkoided versus multiple opponents due to lock on being too unwieldy

but still fun, and much better than the usual first person bashfest

I did play KC:D and you know what? It was really lame.
This.

I agree with both statements. KCD open world is bland and filled with horrible bugged bushes and uninteresting __cpLocations.

The main quest fails to deliver on such a setting, it's all about doing lame boy errand for a barron or playing dice or doing some shitty soldier's work and running in circles.
For me it's a far cry from the kickstarter trailer that promised much (like large scale battles - there is none in the game. The last battle is a ridiculous joke) and delivered little.
