I'm very into cock and ball torture
I wonder if they make it more balance in Kotc II
There's at least some variety in the sequel: Mage Knights, Druid Warriors, Psionicist Warriors, etc. So you can take your Mage Wars: Fireworks Edition in different flavors!

t. guy who's never played that one past chapter 3

I completed it twice since then and the best thing about stopping a KotC 2 playthrough is you get to start over from the beginning with a different party.
Honestly, Chapters 1-2 are the best part of the game with Ch3 special encounters including Pizarra.
Ch4 last 2 battles are alright though, along with the black dragon.

He might have edited the Castle first encounter's reinforcements though, i'm not sure.

He's using custom arts for his stylish tokens, bro.

I think Sunri means why Pierre changed the artstyle from KotC1's pixel graphics to KotC2's tokens.

I actually like the tokens and Campaign Cartographer style maps, it feels like playing a pen and paper RPG on the computer.

Oh, I suck at reading, thanks. Anyways. I really liked the isometric maps he did instead of the top down ones from earlier versions of Chalice 2.

Another thing that I disliked was that you could easily get soft locked if u go blind in your first playtrough, I almost had to restart the game after this honest looking feela lied to me the road back reopens only after you kill him, and you also get bonfire

I went to the lower level and cleared most of it but was too exhausted to deal with the boss no spells and whole party with one foot in the grave, so I had to go back to him and kill him with 1hp and confusion wand similar thing happened in Lich tower where I had to kill Balor with 5% arrow or get fucked I'm not sure if this is good design hmmm

That's the genius of it all, KotC is as difficult as games which were released 20 years before you were born.

Nowadays, you don't complete games either because you're a casual barely playing games you buy or because it's so bad you get bored after a few hours in.
Back in the days, you didn't complete games because you were not supposed to, the only way to do so was to read the manual before starting to play or restart with an optimized party after a few hours and even then, you could stumble upon roadblocks.

Online walkthrough and casual difficulty ruined the whole genre.

This game is not that difficult it had 4 hard fights and 2 of them were hard because I was surprised by them so if I did a second run with optimized party it would be easy also stop talking like boomer about old days it makes you look like butthurt retard that lives in the past and don't play new games no offense smiles.

I will when you stop talking like a millennial mouth-breather, no offense.

And I know it's not that hard but I find myself having to say the opposite to millennials to make them understand the philosophy behind these "roadblocks".

There's only one good thing about Poland, their women, they love getting a good spanking before bedtime.

I'm not providing pictures though, use your imagination, or the internet if you don't have any.

Hey, anyone remember if the treasure Icarus promises you in return for not killing him is worth it? I could make a separate save and run through the dungeon till I kill Kessa and then check my reward, but that sounds absolutely exhausting if I find out it's not worth it and have to run through the entire dungeon again after killing Icarus.

That's not called being softlocked. It's called a challenge.

Darth Roxor Hey do you remember if it's worth letting Icarus go in exchange for his magic items, or should I just kill him and take the shit he has on him?
