I agree with you Alec. I was referring to what happened here, which was "monkey in a lion's den" for those gullible enough to come here & post. But what's happening over there right now is just silly. So call them "jackals" if you like, I'm not going to defend what's going on. But I understand it -- some of your TSLRP pals have annoyed some of the Codexers too much. So things are happening.

Hopefully it dies down today. But maybe the TG forums are just unfun for the next week or two. Sorry about that.

Sorry to those of you who are being affected by this but shouldn't be. We've been descended upon by some idiots from over at the RPG Codex forums. I have my suspicions about why they're here, but that's beside the point. I will take care of that issue at another time.

For now, however, I am at work and not really able to take care of the issue, and so I've locked down registrations. It's temporary, and will be reactivated when the real issue is taken care of.

Welcome to the codex. There's all sorts of monkey-shit going on here. Some like it, some don't. There however is also a lot of good discussion on games and rpg's in general. Up to you to filter the context that you like and that which you don't. Very net 2.0 eh?

In a way, that's good part of the Codex: people here are used to troll each other on a daily basis so when someone comes from a forum with some more or less strict moderation you can call if you feel threatened, they get usualy more than they can handle.

Reminds me of a French forum I used to grace with my presence not long ago. People there used to be a bit more mature and have less sand in the vagina but things changed and they just became angsty at the first hint of disagreement so insults where even worse practice.

I'd like to differentiate between idiots who deserve to be put in their place and 13 year-olds who just wanted to hear about the mod.

apparently as pointed earlier you can update your TSLRP to 1.0b9 using the update feature.
however those emo faggots over at their forums now say that they won't totally let you to update it to 1.0b10 by moving the files to the other place.

I can't see what's wrong with it. Nobody in his right mind would play beta anyway.

I will. they won't release TSLRP even this year. and while some cocksuckers on their forum will outrageously lick the asshole of their most precious Team Gizka waiting years for the mod - I will play the game. I can live without the droid factory, besides people are saying that they restored all content in the end in 1.0b8 where it was actually missing so I don't see any real problem. 1.0b8 is still worse than the full TSLRP, but it is much better than KotOR2. right now I won't wish more.
