I still don't get why Vaarne doesn't post Planetary. It's the only decent WS series. There's even a crossover with Authority, FFS.

Nah go on, post the last 3. I'm curious whether they can get any worse.

Besides the prison ship one had a pretty lulzy twist. The others were awful though. The Y2K one was bad enough (especially since, as predicted, absolutely nothing actually happened at the turn) but Majestrate Jr? Really?
Well, superheroes turning into children or getting a son was a standard formula in the Silver Age. And I agree, the alien's ability in using Earth language was the best thing in Casey's run.

Planetary was one of the best comics of the last decade, not merely decent. And there were several good WildStorm titles (ie, Sleeper, Team Achilles), ESPECIALLY if you count in ABC Comics line-up.

Pretty bad, yeah, but I guess most of us just aren't the target audience.

So why didn't the prison ship explode? It was missing a prisoner.

Probably the question was just of getting the ship back in space with at least most of the prisoners inside. And I guess he froze the ship because of that.

Also, added a poll pertaining to whether or not the next update shall start the Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning run or finish this one.

My vote has been cast, and it is a vote for no!

My inner nihilist doesn't enjoy all of this mushy bull about children and "doing the right thing". Let's get back to ripping out spines and shit.

This is why you're a stereotypical villain.

No, it's because the Codex are big serious faggots. Anyway, update incoming, starting Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning run.

Codex, we have a problem.

It seems none of the torrents I have found contain the rest of the Strange New Visitor album (aka Majestic In The DC Universe), meaning we'd miss on the Grounded story, which is a pretty good one. And what's worse is that the Abnett & Lanning run continues right off that!

So basically, if anyone has the remaining part of this, please halp. Otherwise I'll be forced to explain what happens (I have the trade, and no I am not going to destroy it by getting good scans for the Codex, Majestic trades are relatively hard to get nowadays).

I found a torrent on Demonoid which lists
Mr. Majestic v1 01-09 (out of order but since it's Wildstorm it is "off list" and I felt it more important to keep the character together despite slight omegapsical discrepancy)
Mr Majestic 001-Variant.jpg
Mr Majestic TPB (Omitted).jpg
Wildstorm Spotlight 001-Majestic.cbr
Majestic-While You Were Out TPB (Omitted).jpg
Majestic-Strange New Visitor TPB (Omitted).jpg
Majestic-Meanwhile, Back on Earth... TPB (Omitted).jpg
Majestic-Final Cut TPB (Omitted).jpg

Although the (Omitted) is worrisome.

Basically, Omitted covers everything except the Joe Casey run from earlier, which is Majestic v1.

I told you to finish the Casey run first :x

No loss though, as these were a tremendous :incline:. The Majestic/Superman contrast was played off very well, especially when they meet (though... where was Superman?)

I'd settle for a "poor scan", whatever you can get without damaging the issues. Would prefer that over a text summary. Can you give the exact names of the issues, I'll try to use my Google-fu to find them.

Heh, this Majestic in DC run is pretty good. I like his take on DC's liberal softy heroes.

Also this made me chuckle.

It would have been amazing to see a properly done "Henry Bendix/T.A.O. in DC" crossover. Watching the oh-so-forgiving heroes in DC get their minds shredded by T.A.O. or just plain destroyed by Bendix would have been glorious.
