Oh you know TAO And Bendix couldn't beat the World's Finest Team.

EDIT: Actually, it's pretty interesting how there's a lot of people who clamour that the superhero is a fascist and authoritarian concept, when classic superheroes are very much a socialist and liberal concept through and through.

So... any luck getting the missing issues? Because I'm still waiting for your PM where you tell me the names of each issue so I can look them up :M

Well, the problem is that the torrent society labels the issues differently from their actual names. The missing issues should be Majestic #1-4, but mostly people seem to start count from the issue where Majestic is back in WildStorm universe. You might find them as Strange New Visitor (name of the collected tpb) or Majestic In The DC Universe.

No luck in my case so far, but I've already exhausted my torrent knowledge.

Did some googling, no luck :(

Please please please scan yours? Don't tear. Don't damage them. Doesn't matter if the quality's that good, as long as it's acceptable (and unless the issues are like 500 page each it should be fine just laying the whole issue onto a scanner). PLEASE? PLEAAAAAAAAAAAASE?

(I can't believe I'm doing this...)

Yea, I'll do that then, but don't bitch if the scans aren't at a perfect angle or the edge on the binding side is blurry or some shit.

Of course I'm not gonna bitch! At least not until you upload all of them :P

(in light of this exchange, our conversation in Madness of Dr Prosper is even more hilarious...)

Yea, I'll start the scanning process today. I'll post the stuff this week when I've got all of it scanned and resized.

I started work today (I had a bout of depression Tuesday). Hopefully I can get it done tomorrow or Friday.

Why are you sharing this pirated comic here, Vaarna_Aarne? What if someone would start buying its issues?

Well, actually I've only shared comics that are either out of print and hard to get, or will never see TPB format release. It's why I refused to LR something like Planetary, which you CAN get for yourself easily.

But what if the publisher would re-print them? Then someone could buy them and the publisher would benefit from your unauthorized posting. It would be wrong, because the publisher doesn't deserve to make money from sharing if they don't share themselves.

True, true. But I prefer to have at least some high ground on this stuff ;)

Besides, I've often repeated what Grant Morrison said when people asked him about his Flex Mentallo miniseries (out-of-print due to legal issues for years, finally collected next February, awesome comic btw) was that if they want to read it, they should pirate it since he doesn't mind.

Well, he is kind of prevented by other legal matters in doing that (at least taking credit from that), but he can still say what he thinks.

Since you know, Flex Mentallo was a Vertigo series that Vertigo had the rights to, and the character belonged to DC Comics. The reason why it wasn't collected was because the Charles Atlas Company filed trademark infringement over the character having the likeness of the character from "The Insult That Made A Man Out Of Mac" and Charles Atlas himself being used. Eventually the suit was dismissed in favour of DC Comics under the basis of fair use, and stories featuring Flex Mentallo (including new collected editions of Morrison's utterly fantastic Doom Patrol run) started getting collected editions at last.
