Welcome back, this is the place where dreams and reality meet.
Back to Temple HQ for some upgrades
You may notice me alternating between two characters, they are both at same point in the story. This means, there are 4 separate timelines of the main campaign going on. 2 characters x 2 save slots (Solo and Multiplayer). This is somewhat unecessary, as the PC is already able to bend reality and time to his will, somewhat
Some fuckers in Temple HQ had this to say to us, as PC was ending one of his Cycles --
Don't count on it, buddy.
One thing you should understand about EYE is that at any time you can select 'Load Temple HQ (solo)' from the main menu and teleport there to buy upgrades, weapons, and load side-quest maps which are unlocked as you progress through the campaign.
In the previous New Eden industrial complex level, we made a surprising 27k brouzoufs by playing on a high difficulty. That's enough to unlock the Stealth implant. I'm also adding the S6000 assault rifle to this Chapter
ABILITIES UNLOCKED: STEALTH IMPLANT (Consumes energy)
WEAPON UNLOCKED: S6000 ASSSAULT RIFLE
http://eyedivinecybermancy.wikia.com/wiki/S6000
The S6000 is my gold standard for clearing (most) campaign levels, it has two levels of zoom, great accuracy for headshots at range, 100 ammo, and of course comes in full auto mode.
So we haven't 'unlocked' things like the
* Skin (Dermal) Armor: Like sword-blocking all the time
* Power Conversion: Converts health to energy, at higher levels there is very little health loss)
But that's not going to prevent me from using them. Especially power conversion since that saves precious precious time which I would rather spend playing.
So we are going with both options (A) and (C). Yes, we can do that. We are a transdimensional being, after all. Or this could all be a dream, or nightmare. More on that later.
Suddenly, a vision of the far future.
Maybe a little too far? No time for prescience. From the chatter over the comm, the Feds know our current location. Thanks a lot for snitching, Thorn. If I see you again next cycle I will crucify your heathen ass on a pike before you betray me.
We approach the door to the street
Suddenly the guard has his thorax eviserated and an elite soldiers barges in, only to be gunned down by automated sentries.
Revealing New Eden in all its smutty sexy glory --
Too bad its crawling with greasy fucking feds.
We forcefully eject the blood from their bodies using rudimentary close-ranged psi force. It's not an effective tactic, but it has its uses (At melee range, guns become unusable)
Some adverts.
We assassinate the general, who is out wandering back alleys of course.
Then we bribe the colonel.
There is a lever next to this Marker. Do we pull it?
Inside is a trasendental manduco, who said he needs to gather three artifacts or be trapped with an endless cycle? Sound just like us. MAKE THIS LOOPING NIGHTMARE END!
We run into a Fed in the employ of the Consortium. He wants us to do a hack. We complete the assignment and receive precious precious brouzoufs.
Back to the safe-house.
We celebrate our victory by shooting up some H with our new looter friend.
He sends us to pick up the cyber brain. No waves this time, bros. In and out. Clean, surgical, precise.
We cloak our way to the target location, and meet up with some scummy looter right by the transaction point.
"Spinazo: Yo! Sup dude! You're the homeboy making all this mess in town? That's soooooo crazy, man. This whole place is on lock down by those Fed bastards!"
"Yeah, that's me. You seem to know a lot about the lockdown."
"Spinazo: Oh yeah, man! I know everything that's going down in the hood, dude. I see every fuckin' thing! Seriously, man, I'm the living truth, baby!"
"Okay, spill your guts. And if I'm convinced, I'll let you live."
"Spinazo: What? What the hell, man? Okay, brace yourself then, because I'm gonna tell ya every goddamn thing! You have to know that I'm part of the infamous Lord De Lagal's cosmos looter group. And you see, man, we just want to raid New Eden, this fuckin' city full of aristocrat fat cats! So we just cased downtown, kinda stealth like. Except those damn Feds spied us! You know, dude, they deployed their pigs at the speed of light! They locked down all sectors, closed the access doors. That shit was crazy! We didn't even get a chance to start looting or raping! I ain’t even talkin’ about killin', we didn’t get to do even fifty! My boss, the Lord, that damn prick, decided that we all assemble for a counter-attack on the northern gates. And then, those cop fuckers are there again! So many of them! So in the confusion, we grab one of them, so we can find out what the fuck's goin' on!"
"Then what?"
"Spinazo: Then nothin'! He died before he could talk! Alright, man, we're gonna attempt another counter-attack to pierce through that Federation meat shield, and if it fails we ain’t stayin’ in dis hood, no mo!"
"That's it? What a waste of time..." //end
We cloak-up and approach the exchange site. 3 fed elites, 1 Secreta traitor.
Suddenly, the feds turn on the Secreta traitor.
Good riddance. They just made our life easier.
It's almost as if they sense our presence ▒
We obliterate their craniums with a hail of hot depleted uranium (You were expecting lead slugs?). Bye bye, meatsacks.
On the way back, the streets are absolutely crawling with federals.
We return to the safe-house, shoot up some more H (works great when combined with the adrenaline pumper -- speedballing!), and analyze the cyberbrain.
Looks like our works not over... wish I knew what was on that *#$(ing brain.
Off too the bar! Too bad alcohol won't work on us now that we have an artificial liver.
Look familiar? :\
I don't go to bars much, but that has more to do with my dislike of people than it does with alcohol. If I did go to a bar, it be like this one --
The first thing you notice is the muffled bass of techno-metal music shaking the walls.
The bar oozes style and has its own soundtrack recorded by one of the developers and his band
Sup.
Fuck you too, lady.
That's a strange way to say 'hi'. This fool probably be trippin. We probe his mind and extract the information. They're lucky we didn't turn this place into a bloodbath.
An EYE patrol hits the streets. Bout bloody time, boys. To bad they are so far from p0wnage compared to the endless sparm of federal forces.
We approach the apartment block, and suddenly the door bursts forth and a maniac comes out screaming. He must be protecting something valuable.
The apartment block has been converted into a sort of hidey-hole for looters, who could very rarely be seen (or heard) skirmishing with the Federals
We quickly find the briefcase and end the level. This is either a senseless scavenger hunt or a simple
"Walk To Point A" depending on how much sleuthing you want to do, and attention you pay to the NPC dialogue and levels.
