That was a fun read, I'll have to try this someday. A shame you used such a faulty system as democracy to decide what to do, doubly so in the case of the Codex, who cannot vote well to boot.
So, the "historically accurate" mode is basically a final combat it seems.
What happens if you execute too many people? Do you lose money every time you were killed and teleported back to safety?
- Yes, "historically accurate" is basically a string of combats, the first ones in homage to the first Ultima [combat directly on the world map], then a string of 4 combats in instance in homage to Ultima IV-V (can't remember which "mode" had Ultima 3)
- Nothing happens if you kill too many people, except you are remembered as a tyrant and I suppose Lord Blakemore or whoever you choose final text change.
There are only 2 persons you cannot execute :
1. The Executionner
2. The Steward. Well, you can, but he comes back as a ghost
- You don't lose money if you die.
