Were the dialogues in the first two/three updates really in-game? They were pretty funny.
Of course they were
Last time we left mr Tokaj, he's just arrived to a hueg cargo hold of sorts on the third sublevel...
WHEN SUDDENLY, daemons have appeared from the warp.
who would have guessed
Using the console here opens them massive doors.
And spawns a hussar behind Albert.
There's a lot of shit behind that massive door.
OSNAP, going into a side 'alley', Albert gets ambushed by hussars jumping off containers.
Killing them reveals an ammo dispenser and power hammer. Neat.
Moving on, we get attacked by more abominations.
The fuck is that thing.
MORE INCOMING!
They are all disposed of, and Albert's PDA is updated with the new enemy:
'They were once... HUMAN!' No way, Al. In a sealed Shelter full of people, something was once... HUMAN! I'm sure they are just hullghasts.
Anyway, chimeras are what they look like: fat and hit hard, but slow as shit. Lead injection works against them just as well as it does against everything else.
A console that works on the basis of 'HOLD E'
It raises a nearby container, enabling Albert to pass.
Arek's room... but he's not here.
Where have I failed? The colonel was my patient, I knew him well. Why didn't I notice anything odd in his behaviour? Some signs of cruelty that may have given me a clue about his plans. He recruited someone to divert my attention... But who would agree to follow an order like that? Why would they involve us...? Four promising subjects... Karolina, Marcin, Arek and me.
What
One dead, two missing... But I'm still here. And I've had enough of this confinement...
Yes. I'm sure you'd had enough of this... confinement... mr Tokaj
Voice mail
And seal the locks! We cannot risk...
Shrug.
I wonder what this button does...
Now brace yourselves, readers. For we have stumbled upon the ultimate in InAnity. The horrors we faced before have nothing on the kind of stuff we shall be facing now. Stuff like...
THIS!
Yes, this is exactly what it looks like. An RC car section. Because there's nothing better than RC cars in your game. Amirite? AMIRITE?!?!??!
This is probably the most boring part of the whole game. You just navigate through areas, evade some fans that try to crush you, the end.
Let's get this over with...
You probably won't see it here, but the repair bot takes a look from a high ledge and notices a madman running towards the direction Albert's control room is.
Fortunately, you can stop controlling the bot and whack the guy before he whacks you.
Ah! A first deadly trap dead ahead! The stereotypical fan with one blade missing. You have to slide under it and not get crushed by the non-missing blades.
Rollin'
Rollin'
Rollin' in the shelter
More fans ahead.
And another stereotypical UBERFAN that you have to stop to get to the other side.
Dumdedum, there be some cables up ahead, cap'n, arrrrr!
the bot gets close to the cables and uses some sort of welding thingy to cut through them
The fan stopped very conveniently and we can move on
Now the brave little toaster will have to slide through this vent with two flame jets, using windows of opportunity when they stop flamin'
Some more cables ahead.
There's actually a p. mean jumpy shock in this room. Behind that fence to the left is a guard with an assault rifle and two mutants. When you get close to the cables, the guard starts shooting (and dies) which gets you all riled up that niggers are shooting you.
sum more weldin'
And the controls are given back to Albert, so I guess the brave little toaster has done its duty. We salute you, brave little toaster.
The console to the right of the door changes colour from red to yellow.
Finally, some dark maintenance tunnels, haven't seen those yet.
Sup bros.
Guess we're not going that way.
more muties
dum-de-dum
A console near sum generator thing.
A puzzle we've seen before.
It brings the power and lights back on, which, of course, lures another hussar this way.
Indeed, it doesn't. Wonder what kind of mofo places it leads to.
This looks promising.
