Match 3: CHAOS! PREMATCH HYPE!
With the big difference in team value, we have 140,000 gold to spend on inducement. And I decided a tactical choice would be a wizard.

02.jpg

You may notice that the actual cost is 150,000 gold with the 10,000 missing gold is deducted from the team's treasury.

03.jpg

04.jpg

Upon seeing the team's name, I realize that I might be dealing with a regional coach. Why? Because laksa is a somewhat 'Malaysia/Singapore' popular dish and is relatively unknown to the west.

With the lack of popular appeal of Bloodbowl in the east, I can only assume that this coach is new to the game and decided to take the offence upon winning the coin toss.

05.jpg

06.jpg

With the above set-up, I'm pretty confident of what his game plan is. It involves his players' fists flying to my players' faces.
We respond with our fast-response formation by putting our speediest players near the front.
07.jpg

We're playing at full strength here and that's what I aim for by receiving first, score the first touchdown and have the inexperienced coach melt-down as he tries to score one back instead of taking his time bashing my team in.

08.jpg

Kick-off result is good.

Let the game begins.

Turn 1 - The Force Awakens
09.jpg

Excellent! We get a free ball! Jews gets it.

10.jpg

11.jpg

Rat Ogre succeeds Wild animal check and moves into the left flank, followed with his other less powerful com-rats.
Stompa runs forward, trying to get in a quick receiving position with his AG5.

12.jpg

The same thing is duplicated on the right flank.

13.jpg

The ball readies a launchpad on the left side of the field.

14.jpg

Roxor will now commence attacking the left side.

15.jpg

16.jpg

Good. Now c'mon, injure him!

17.jpg

Nein. Just a down. He rolls 8 vs 9+So close, but no armor break! It's alright, he pushes forward to check one of the closest goatman.

18.jpg

I end my turn. And it's now time to watch our line-rats get pounded on the line.

19.jpg

It did not take long.

20.jpg

The Lebanese third game ended so prematurely, and he had to be carried off field.
His two other line-rat pals were luckier, sustaining pushes.

21.jpg

22.jpg

boot ,however is about to face a horny issue.

23.jpg

RIP.

24.jpg

25.jpg

:shredder: Phew. Gonna be two rats down on turn 2.
And it seems that my prediction of an inexperienced coach is coming true, he starts doing one-die blocks.

26.jpg

With a single team reroll and Chaos team, this could get ugly fast.

27.jpg

Our attack on the left does not go unnoticed and more Chaos players responded, though the fact they did not end most of their turns fully in contact with the rat players made the opposition coach's inexperience more obvious. This ends both team movements on Turn 1, with Laksalanders scoring one injury and a stun on the hapless Codex rats.

Turn 2 - Highway to the Dangerzone
01.jpg

Ore no turn.

02.jpg

Take every 2D blocks I can get.

03.jpg

And pray for a casualty.

04.jpg

Fudge. Never mind. Operation Jews commences.

05.jpg

06.jpg

07.jpg

08.jpg

aiEJH.gif

Check the potential interceptors by rerouting the players from the right flank, we have enough movement to outrun the Chaos players.

09.jpg

10.jpg

11.jpg

I end my turn.

12.jpg

13.jpg

omega21 goes down, but not out.

14.jpg

Christ, this guy loves his Minotaur so much? Eat that Wild Animal'd Blitz!

15.jpg

HE REROLLED?! :retarded:

Turn 3 - Wrong Direction
The Laksalander's error could've been easily prevented, I mean how can you not do the safe moves first? Especially since the safe moves are the most important. Let's take a look at their start of T2 and point out the errors.

00.jpg

The white lines denotes the current zone of conflict. The yellow lines indicate the priority moves that should be attempted first, followed by the red moves. It could've been easily done with 2D blocks and a few dicey go-for-its. Instead, he chose to do the green moves first, in order to...uh..drive my 2 SPP thrower into the crowd. Oh well, onward to our TURN 3!

01.jpg

Again, taking 2D blocks whenever I can. That downed goat guy can't contribute anything meaningful. Staying too close to it means a horned Blitz.

02.jpg

Cool. It's a start. Gonna send one extra rat to cover the runner.

03.jpg

And then we take another 2D block.

04.jpg

05.jpg

06.jpg

Getting good.

07.jpg

C'mon, surprise me.

08.jpg

Not like that lah.

09.jpg

Walau, you really want to surf ah?

10.jpg

11.jpg

Sigh. Take it. I don't give a fuck.

12.jpg

13.jpg

Jews didn't get hurt. Just battered and perhaps castrated, but that's normal for Jews.

14.jpg

And then he starts marking the unimportant player.

15.jpg

16.jpg

Instead of backing up his lone goat on the right hand side.

17.jpg

Yes, yes. Surround the Rat Ogre. It has done SOOOO MUCH harm.
Ignore the ball and bash for 6 more turns. That's the Chaos way.

Turn 4 - Self Destruct Mechanism
01.jpg

Ok, that surrounded Rat Ogre is an opportunity. I decided to take it despite the inherent risk.
First I send in a linerat to neutralize the two Chaos warriors' assists.

02.jpg

And made sure I checked all other possible attackers closest to the ball.

03.jpg

04.jpg

That lone goat is still actually a threat since he can Blitz-Horn past the lone Gutter Runner, but I'm betting he's too genius for that kind of simple answer to everything. With everything safe done, it's time to surf with the Big Rat.

05.jpg

06.jpg

Two pushes, good.

07.jpg

08.jpg

09.jpg

No injury though.

10.jpg

Decided to take a chance on a 1D Block vs Chaos Warrior.

11.jpg

Rookie, so no block. Good enough for me. Okay, I end my turn expecting a blitz on the Gutter Runner and marking my ball carrier first...

12.jpg

Turn 5 - He did WHAT?
01.jpg

Gonna check this goat.

02.jpg

Tried to move the Ogre but Wild'd out.

03.jpg

It's okay, we still got a bunch of linerats there as speed-bumps.

04.jpg

Additional cover up with the ball. And then we deal with the lone goat interceptor.

05.jpg

06.jpg

You totally missed your chance. And the unbelievable happened.

07.jpg

Yes, he APO'd. He APO'd a 0 SPP Beastman from KO. That proves it, then.

08.jpg

Jews get up to get punched again.

09.jpg

10.jpg

There's nothing to fear from his plays except for 2D blocks and injuries.

11.jpg

12.jpg

13.jpg

And so far it's proving to be very-

14.jpg

...what.

15.jpg

16.jpg

Nope. Not breaking.

17.jpg

18.jpg

Cripes.

19.jpg

Fine, fine. I don't care it's just a line-rat. Play on.

20.jpg

You have got to be kidding me. You have two grounded beastmen on the ground capable of assisting and you chose to BLITZ ALONE FOR -2D block?!

21.jpg

Get the fuck out of here.

Turn 6 - Order 66
01.jpg

Gonna try something risky since I'm on turn 6 and have 2 spare re-rolls.

02.jpg

03.jpg

Whooops. Roll back.

04.jpg

Success...and let's corner his people.

05.jpg

06.jpg

Decided to pressure more instead, preventing them from joining the melee on the ball carrier.

07.jpg

08.jpg

09.jpg

Yea, stay down you animal.

10.jpg

11.jpg

He got nothing but a push.

Turn 7 - Nothing happens
01.jpg

Let's keep checking the big dude and his gang.

02.jpg

03.jpg

04.jpg

You're not getting the ball.

05.jpg

Tsk. Was hoping to settle it with one single block.

06.jpg

Too lucky.

07.jpg

Their big guy finally wakes up and bashes Jews.

08.jpg

09.jpg

10.jpg

11.jpg

But the Jewish Armor proves hard to crack.

12.jpg

13.jpg

Kek.

14.jpg

Time to score and end this farcical half.

Turn 8 - I hope you like getting punched.
01.jpg

Alright, we'll score here.

02.jpg

Get that 2D block first, see if we can injure.

03.jpg

04.jpg

05.jpg

Damn it. Go Stompa.

06.jpg

07.jpg

With that, Stompa is now Super Skaven 3. If he survives the next 8 turns, that is.

08.jpg

09.jpg

Okay, line-rats get in line. And...eat fist.

11.jpg

12.jpg

13.jpg

14.jpg

Damn it. Down 3 rats.

15.jpg

No fap for you tonight.

16.jpg

Omega survives the onslaught and the ref blew the whistle indicating the end of the half.

Turn 9 - Up 1 Goal, Down 3 Rats
01.jpg

We stomp back into the field with 3 rat disadvantage, but this defense cannot be too soft, we need to pressure them into making a mistake. And I don't think this guy is too worried about forming a cage.

02.jpg

I kicked hoping for a short ball.

03.jpg

04.jpg

Instead we got a long one.

05.jpg

06.jpg

Ouch time.

07.jpg

Gragt survives 2D blocks twice, sustaining only two pushes off a minotaur!

08.jpg

While omega21 drew a good block, forcing an early reroll!

09.jpg

10.jpg

No more reroll, and the lone beastman picks the ball with no problem.

11.jpg

Until the above happens.

12.jpg

13.jpg

Alright, two rat disadvantage. Lets speed this up.

14.jpg

15.jpg

16.jpg

17.jpg

Left & right, while Stompa acts as safety.

18.jpg

19.jpg

Thought of using Ogre to hit something, but decided against it. He'll serve better as a tackler for now.

Turn 12 - Con-trolled
01.jpg

Tough luck, we've won but we can lose players if he plays aggressively. At this point, maximum damage is what he's after.

02.jpg

Oh well, I have no reason to hold back then. Short kick again.

03.jpg

Nuffle smiles again.

15.jpg

I want to blitz a channel open! Let's go!

16.jpg

Sigh.

17.jpg

Block on a gutter runner is fine, but yeah, nothing fancy. On the other hand, something fancy often comes with a "kill me first!" note attached, when we're talking skaven...
