Those Japs are mad! Oh, at least that will make things more interesting. Have you left some troops on the Honshū island?

I'm glad to see that USS Cleveland remains intact after Pearl Harbor.

Disclaimer: I never have went with major naval battles in a HoI2 standard scenario before.

Operation Downfall Begins

lphoi2downfall001.jpg

Not leaving any defenders of the occupied territories in Japan was, in the end, a large mistake when it became clear how treacherous the Japanese government was, but one that could still be corrected. As soon as the attack on Pearl Harbor ended, the two fleets docked there, or more exactly, the surviving ships of them, were merged into the Main Battlefleet, while transports began to head for Wake Island and for three points where the Japanese weren't expected to arrive fast enough to avoid their landing: Sendai, Sapporo and Asahikwan, the Main Battlefleet would meet them up and was already ahead to protect them from any threat. a Second Battlefleet, formed from a previously lone battleship and several heavy cruisers will also provide escort. No more fleets can be afforded, because the UDMS-KKK currently lack the technology to buy any new naval unit. Thus, every loss besides the loss of submarines will be impossible to replace for now.

lphoi2downfall002.jpg

nanking_massacre_1.jpg

Tokyo fell quickly to the reoccupation of the Empire of Japan. This would be an annoying, if not tough enemy. The aliens have wrecked the industrial infrastructure of Japan for a long time before the liberation of Tokyo by the UDMS-KKK cutting them off from a conveniently close airbase to do it. But there was only sketchy at best intel about the Japanese disposition of forces. Rumors came immediately about how many survivors of Tokyo, for showing sympathy to the UDMS-KKK were brutally raped and slaughtered, not necessarily in this order. The fact they were willing to do to their own people what they did in Nanjing was a strong argument to the fact the only acceptable outcome of this conflict is the complete annexation of Japan and assassination of all its current powermongers, including the emperor.

lphoi2downfall003.jpg

Of no use when the first turbojet interceptor is soon to be developed, it is still accepted nevertheless, because it was given free of charge.

lphoi2downfall004.jpg

lphoi2downfall005.jpg

Having to split the combat ships to escort all transports would be a liability the UDMS-KKK couldn't afford. Sometimes though, coincidence helped. The time for the first landing on Japan was close.

lphoi2downfall006.jpg

As was closing the window of opportunity for this ambitious plan of carving deep through the heart of Japan.

Battle of Tokyo Bay

lphoi2downfall007.jpg

axis-conquers-philippines-33.jpg

The first naval engagements have begun. The strategy of the UDMS-KKK Navy was very simple: avoid uneccessary engagements, and whenever possible, pick enemy ships one by one or simply buy time for the transports to pass through unharmed instead of worrying with escorts. And finally, the most polemic part: transports without troops loaded inside can be considered expendable.

lphoi2downfall008.jpg

An allied ship with no chance of victory spots a large enemy fleet. The Main Battlefleet prepares to engage it as to allow the transports heading to Sendai to safely pass through.

lphoi2downfall009.jpg

yamato-painting.jpg

lphoi2downfall010.jpg

msasamamarulaunched1929builtmitsubishishipbuildingengineeringconagasakijapan1.jpg

lphoi2downfall011.jpg

And thus, hundred of thousand soldiers safely arrived at Sendai, where a few sympathizers awaited. Their determination and superior firepower made all Japanese attempts to retake it fail. With a foothold gained, now, it was only a matter of time and enough distraction engagements to let all transports arrive safely. The UDMS-KKK naval doctrine was focused on avoiding direct engagements when possible and simply protecting amphibious assets arriving at the most strategically important objectives.

lphoi2downfall012.jpg

547px-AkagiDeckApril42.jpg

lphoi2downfall013.jpg

Suddenly, what was assumed to be the entire Imperial Japanese Navy arrives at Tokio Bay. A massive legion of warships against which a direct battle would be suicidal. Instead, the UDMS-KKK fleets immediately retreat.

lphoi2downfall014.jpg

Battle.jpg

Fortunately, they aren't chased by the entirety of that massive legion, but still, a tough battle lies ahead.

lphoi2downfall015.jpg

Meanwhile, a successful attack on Fukushima happens. The Japanese did not resist for much time, and there is little opposition in the form of civilian resistance, different from what expected, perhaps because of the clear fact the UDMS-KKK represented several nations, was democratic and lacked a history of imperialism in Earth, being for now led by the survivors of a people who always fought for their freedom and not to oppress others: the Poles.

lphoi2downfall016.jpg

battle-of-midway.jpg

The two large fleets continue their engagement, however, there was a reason why the only remaining battleship was put into the Second battlefleet rather in the first one: mixed carrier-battleship fleets don't work very well, but the Japs don't really acknowledge this fact.

lphoi2downfall017.jpg

The long, boring island-hopping over all strategically important isles under Japanese control(read: those with Victory Points), begins. Hopefully the two fleets will draw the attention away from all Japanese fleets while they do their job. Several strategic maneuvers continue to happen to distract enemy ships and let transports pass through unscathed.

lphoi2downfall018.jpg

lphoi2downfall019.jpg

800px-tbd_attacking_at_midway_painting.jpg

Then, the Second Battlefleet(already reduced from 18 to 16 ships because Great War Destroyers expectedly suck and have only 1500 km max. range thus they had to be scrapped from it) engages a far larger fleet, but is blessed by a heavy storm that makes its enemy carriers incapable of properly attacking it with their carrier air groups, while the Main Battlefleet advances to give it support. These maneuvers compose the Battle of the Sea of Japan, which will define the success or failure of this war. For the Japanese currently had more ships than the UDMS-KKK, and they could build more, up-to-date ships too if allowed, while the UDMS-KKK couldn't. Whoever won naval supremacy over the Sea of Japan would definitively win this war.

Actually no, because as soon as the transports with hundreds of thousands landed on Sendai, the future of this war was decided... (because the AI is too dumb to properly attempt starving enemy soldiers through convoy raids). Still, without a Navy the annoying island hopping would take a long time.

lphoi2downfall020.jpg

More island-hopping while the naval battles continued.

lphoi2downfall021.jpg

Asahikwan is also successfully secured before Japanese troops could step on it.

lphoi2downfall022.jpg

sbd-dauntless-midway.jpg

lphoi2downfall023.jpg

The enemy took way too little time before deciding to retreat eastwards. Due to the threat such a massive fleet would pose against the several transports in island-hopping, the Main and Second Battlefleets began its pursuit (Actually, it is a quirky bug with the naval battle engine. Every time you retreat all fleets made by exclusive and large amounts of transports, it decretes "victory" for you) .

lphoi2downfall024.jpg

lphoi2downfall026.jpg

Uss_Hull_DD-945.jpg

Stopping their pursuit while the first expeditionary forces landed on Fukushima, was another nuisance flotilla from the aliens. Their behavior made no sense unless one assume their home world was devoid of oceans or water and thus why they failed epically at naval warfare.

lphoi2downfall027.jpg

Hiryu_f075712.jpg

Then, any need of pursuit becomes superfluous as at 12:00 hours, July 25, 1944, the massive Japanese fleets launch an attack. Great Admiral King(comrade) calls for aid from the Second Battlefield for this, led by Spruance, while he does his best to hold off this force outnumbering his fleet.

lphoi2downfall028.jpg

The Battle of Tokyo Bay would be one of the greatest naval battles ever fought in history, and become crucial to ensure a rapid dominance over all important islands of the Pacific by the UDMS-KKK. Two massive naval forces, at numerical parity, would define the future of this war.

Those Japanese fleets might be annoying but I think you will be able to overrun them, as they seem to be obsolete and lacking aircraft carriers. On the land, with more than a hundred divisions, it will be a child's play. I don't expect war to last longer than 3 months. Very well done!

Unsung Heroes, and Decline of Japan

TG17.3_and_HMAS_Australia_under_attack_Coral_Sea.jpg

lphoi2downfall029.jpg

Sinking_of_japanese_cruiser_Mikuma_6_june_1942.jpg

The Battle of Tokyo Bay reaches its climax, as both fleets suffer losses and a massive air battle happens between the carrier air groups of each side.

lphoi2downfall030.jpg

Shoho_g17026.jpg

After multiple days of engagements, another Japanese vessel hits the bottom of the sea, as it becomes clear that one of the sides may be winning in this massive battle.

lphoi2downfall031.jpg

lphoi2downfall032.jpg

After nine days of battle, the massive Japanese fleet, having lost one light carrier, one carrier and one battleship, with other vessels having suffered heavy damage, is forced to retreat to the harbor of Tokyo. The most important battle for supremacy over the Pacific is won.

The crew of the Heavy Cruiser USS Portland have accomplished their duty, for only in death does duty end. Its loss was not in vain.

:salute:

However, nothing of what they have done, despite being an incredibly courageous and noble sacrifice in the fight of Democracy against Fascism, Weeaboo faggotry and tyranny, would take as much guts, courage and determination as a tale of unknown heroes, men who risked their lives, their souls, their sanity for the most important mission, these men were:

=============================================

The Death Watch

The reverse-engineering of the remnants of alien technology left after the many battles in America procceeded at snail's pace. There was need for something more concrete, more absolute. Language specialists have managed to decipher part of the alien language in 1942. And since then, an extremely secretive organization has been sending intelligence operations with the goal of gathering as much as they could from the technological secrets of these alien invaders.

So far, none have returned.

UFO_mountain_cave.jpg

A team of the obscure Death Watch, specialists at diving, amphibious landings, paradropping, climbing mountains with their bare hands among other ubermensch, arrived after a long journey. It began through a long range submarine based on Sri Lanka, and they were dropped as close from the Tibet as possible. Parts of Tibet still were strangely not occupied by the aliens, including the region they were supposed to investigate.

They climbed, moved through barren wastelands and mountains, until finding the place. An enemy base, but obviously not a military base. It was far more, perhaps thousands of years older than their invasion, it could have been in this place before mankind even existed.

And they got inside, the cave was damp, dark and shivering. It was bare, there were no signs of life. After walking for ten minutes, finally they saw a metallic door. several bundles of dynamitc tore it aparted and they advanced inside. It was a strange, abandoned facility, there were things resembling computing machines still active, showing text in a strange language, the language specialist came ahead and began to operate its completely clumsy keys for human hands. Then a huge noise, like the squeal of a malformed pig, echoed. They readied their guns, then ITZ Came.

deathwatch.jpg

Monstrous mutant aberrations that resembled deformed fetuses began to encroach. They fired, emptied their pistols against the things yet they seemed invulnerable to small arms fire. Thank God that Defjam was there! The Cybernegro readied his weapon and:

portable_flamethrower.png

The mutants, who obviously once were human and have been the result of experiments even more horrible and cruel than the savagery the discovery of Unit 731 in Japan exposed. What was the difference between a scum doing that sort of thing with another human begin and an alien scum? Was the thought that permeated the Death Watch as they discovered the alien base was once a research facility, with humans serving as test subjects. The electronics specialist tried to extract the information from those computing machines through something the aliens used for portable storage, while they scavenged for tables with alien writing. After a few minutes they left the place, and unlike many, they made their way back to Sri Lanka safely.

=======================

lphoi2downfall033.jpg

Such was the effort it took, but the immediate results from this operation were small, leading to what was assumed to be a National Geographic-grade publication of the aliens about synthetic fossil fuels. Further operations would continue, in the hopes of capturing as much information and technology as possible from the aliens. It was the first of these operations to succeed. Nobody knows the fate of the dozens men, women and trannies who were sent before.

:mhd:

Back to the matter of the war on fascism:

lphoi2downfall034.jpg

lphoi2downfall035.jpg

The Japanese army is collapsing. They have not managed to resist for more than one day in all ground battles happening so far. Their people were secretly losing faith in the god-Emperor of Japan, and soon Tokyo would be surrounded.

lphoi2downfall036.jpg

lphoi2downfall037.jpg

Niigata has been secured along the road to Tokyo. Japan will fall. The abomination known as Axis Powers Hetalia will never exist with its overload of faggotry insulting the glory of Poland.

But because WhiskeyWolf is a Wapanese animes will still go on.

:decline:

lphoi2downfall038.jpg

With the two only battlefleets keeping the gross of the enemy forces docked in Tokyo, there is one enemy fleet left to freely harass transports. Thus heroes must answer the call. A desperate assault, with the goal of buying as much time as possible for the transports. Something without any precedent in History. A wolfpack attacking a surface fleet while another Japanese fleet attempts to pass through the blockade of Tokyo.

lphoi2downfall039.jpg

lphoi2downfall040.jpg

The attempt of them breaking out is an ultimate failure. Meanwhile, for day and night, submarines play a cat and mouse game with a fleet they stand no chance of defeating. Depth charges cause immense damages against some of them.

lphoi2downfall041.jpg

lphoi2downfall042.jpg

lphoi2downfall043.jpg

:salute:

While the submarines distracted the fleet, suffering no total loss but with some of them ending seriously damaged, several amphibious landings already happened successfully.

lphoi2downfall044.jpg

It is a game of hunting. Of risks.

lphoi2downfall045.jpg

And due to the lack of any garrisson in all captured islands so far, a mistake happened at Guam.

lphoi2downfall046.jpg

lphoi2downfall047.jpg

At 4th of August, there was no doubt: Japan was doomed to collapse. Several encircled armies in Akita have been defeated, and soon Tokyo would be surrounded. The rising sun was already fading.

Doing some espionage, eh? Too bad you got that useless synthetic oil blueprint. Conducting research with the polish tech teams must be awful, they have low skill and many of them are scripted to disappear in 1939 or 1940. Any chance of obtaining German ones?

I wanted to comment (before you made this last update) that something of a "Short Victorious War" is usually an illusion which some politicians and commanders like to elude themselves with.
But because WhiskeyWolf is a Wapanese animes will still go on.
Of course, but this time there will be some harsh quality control. By that I mean harsh.

I don't know if I can annex Germany. Unfortunately, in HoI2 as soon as you start a new game every database is added to the save game(including tech teams) and the transition to WoTW made me want to not look again at a .eug file for a long time.

However, worry not, I'll enable Tech Team takeover so they'll have ^_^

And maybe, just maybe, Germany too.

What kind of madman will leave hundreds of transports unescorted?

lphoi2downfall048.jpg

lphoi2downfall049.jpg

The same who deem the transports expendable as long as the soldiers reach their destination in the meantime. A necessary sacrifice, in the path to victory, concentrating the limited naval assets into larger fleet rather than distributing them to escort transports was neccessary.

lphoi2downfall050.jpg

lphoi2downfall051.jpg

Using submarines against Surface fleets was neccessary.

lphoi2downfall052.jpg

lphoi2downfall053.jpg

Risking the blockade on Tokyo Bay was neccessary. The IJN outnumbered the UDMS-KKK in surface combat ships. Yet they were losing because of the daringness of the Kwanzanian Navy.

lphoi2downfall054.jpg

lphoi2downfall055.jpg

Sometimes the destroyers lose the battle against the submarines, specially when they are totally obsolete great war destroyers. Several movements, the UDMS-KKK strategy was like a naval variant of maneuver warfare. Dancing around the enemy fleets, distracting them with submarines while another decisive battle was soon to begin.

Bombardment_of_Guam.jpg

lphoi2downfall056.jpg

USMC-M-Guam-OFC.jpg

The battle of Guam. Despite the fact it was defended by a ragtag bunch, it was still a tough fight.

A44084DDD904DC894DA791_Large.jpg

And while the Battle of Guam happened, the Kwanzanians would achieve another important step in the war against Japan.

lphoi2downfall057.jpg

472px-First_Iwo_Jima_Flag_Raising.jpg

The battle of Iwo Jima was won without a single shot fired.

lphoi2downfall058.jpg

lphoi2downfall059.jpg

Another attempt from the enemy to break the blockade of Tokyo Bay fails.

lphoi2downfall060.jpg

Research for better and better Space M... Paratroopers proceeds.

lphoi2downfall061.jpg

lphoi2downfall062.jpg

First_flag_on_Guam_-_1944.jpg

After a day of fighting, the soldiers and motorbikers succeed at surrounding and crushing the defenders. The Battle of Guam is finally over. A cat and mouse game continues through the Pacific, until reaching another stage:

lphoi2downfall063.jpg

lphoi2downfall064.jpg

Sadly, the enemy retreated before taking any significant damage.

lphoi2downfall065.jpg

There were two large fleets operating besides the two ones blockaded at Tokyo Bay, Submarines would make a stand to buy time for the transports, the U-boat captains lauded for their courage.

lphoi2downfall066.jpg

At last, Tokyo is now cornered. The enemy is falling, victory is near!

lphoi2downfall067.jpg

And most islands of strategic significance already belong to the UDMS-KKK. The final moment of this war is about to begin.

Hi, I need to ask you something:

If Japan is annexed you won't have Yamato battleship commanded by Poles and all the can into space deal with it. The UDMS-KKK has so much IC already I'm wasting surplus IC with AA, so there is absolutely no justification to directly control Japan.

Besides the goal is to fight for democracy. and all those puppet armies and that massive navy will have an use later. Still I can see the charm in annexing Japan. So, what I am asking is simple:

Annex Japan or Puppet it? Which is better and why? DISCUSS!!!

You know what you need for the war effort. If you don't need to annex the zipperheads, then don't. They're not the real enemy anyway.

If you have full tech team take over turned on, I vote annex. Just for the naval tech teams.

If not, just puppet them. Great LP.

Well, having puppets is a nice thing, they can deal with a lot of small but annoying matters. But if you would get their tech teams as a result of annexation, then do it.

Unfortunately, it'll take more than 1 update for the screens showing the last days of Japan.

The Fading Sun

lphoi2fadingsun001.jpg

After a long and dangerous campaign of mostly unescorted island-hopping, Taiwan is one the last strategic islands under Japanese occupation. Okinawa is also immediately targeted. Both strangely had no defenders.

lphoi2fadingsun002.jpg

After the landings on Okinawa happened, the ships were attacked. They could do nothing but flee. However, let be forever remembered the brave sailors of merchant fleets which have made a stand, buying time for other men to land safely in other islands, without their courage and sacrifice, many more deaths could have happened.

lphoi2fadingsun003.jpg

Finally, the assault on Tokyo happens, they pointless build and deploy a garrison division in Tokyo, it lasts not even one minute.

lphoi2fadingsun004.jpg

Once Taipei is secured, the merchant fleet finally retreat, having managed to somehow, after being hunted for days, to not lose any of the flotillas. With the fall of Taipei, now the only relevant territories lie in Japan itself, where the battles will get bloodier as the moment of their end approaches.

lphoi2fadingsun005.jpg

Meanwhile, Tokyo is now Tokio, once again. Despite possibly being outnumbered by the enemy, an attack in Osaka, and doing so will create a new pocket in Ka-whatever.

lphoi2fadingsun006.jpg

The prospects are not good here, because the defenders outnumber the attackers.

lphoi2fadingsun007.jpg

lphoi2fadingsun008.jpg

Yet, their morale and training are horrible, and although heavy casualties happen, slowly, the UDMS-KKK forces manage to, incredibly, break through without air support(the aircrafts were still reorganizing) and against numerically superior defenders, and even surround them despite the fact they outnumbered the attackers. Perhaps years of experience in tactics and strategy fighting against the overwhelmingly advanced armies of the Alien invaders have shaped the UDMS-KKK army into the most powerful human army of the world, and this is not even about strength in numbers. On another note, some minor flotillas tried to break through first when Tokyo was occupied, but the real fleets haven't appeared at Tokyo Bay yet.

lphoi2fadingsun009.jpg

Thus, despite the fact they were outnumbered when compared to the defenders, despite the rain and the hills, they have prevailed. There were rumors the Japanese army was not really competent, but that was too much to be expected.

lphoi2fadingsun010.jpg

lphoi2fadingsun011.jpg

While Okinawa was about to fall, and thus the core of the Japanese home islands nearly completely liberated from fascism, a fleet finally appears in Tokyo Bay. Unfortunately it managed to break through and retreat to the south of Japan unharmed.

lphoi2fadingsun012.jpg

While the invasions of Taiwan and Okinawa happened, a very important discovery was made. A massive vulnerability that would significantly reduce the number of men that would die in Japan. As perhaps a glaring mistake committed in face of desperation, the Japanese have left Kagoshima completely undefended. And this was an opportunity that could not be missed, thus, the forces that landed without opposition on Iwo Jima, Okinawa and Taiwan would finally face a real battle for a change.

lphoi2fadingsun013.jpg

But they would not be the only ones to come to Kagoshima. Japan was hanging on a thread now, soon they would fall, soon. The UDMS-KKK was still undecided about what to do with Japan. On one hand, their annexation would perhaps put the Japanese naval tacticians under the UDMS-KKK control, and fill a huge gap in the lack of research teams. On the other one, the Japanese Navy would have been useful for the future liberation of Eurasia. For now, nothing was decided.

lphoi2fadingsun014.jpg

Kanazawa, after some time as the divisions in Okinawa were reorganizing, becomes the next Japanese territory to eventually fall. The majority of their military has been broken through these encirclements. But then, perhaps predicting what would happen, the Japanese bring a surprise:

Battle of Inland Sea: Last Stand of the IJN

lphoi2fadingsun015.jpg

1931atlantic.jpg

A massive fleet, that outnumbered the UDMS-KKK combined fleets, attacks to prevent amphibious landings from happening.

lphoi2fadingsun016.jpg

The battle of Kanazawa becomes incredibly bloody, meanwhile.

lphoi2fadingsun017.jpg

But thanks to heavy air support, despite outnumbered, the attackers succeed at breaking the will of the defenders. Mass suicide and surrenders thus happen. Another Japanese territory fell. However, meanwhile, the greatest naval battle ever fought reached its climax:

lphoi2fadingsun018.jpg

battle-of-midway.jpg

Things were becoming far more complicated for the UDMS-KKK Navy that had only 42 surface combatants against the legion of Japanese ships. This battle would define how long it will take for the final defeat of Japan, but the Kwans were, this time, being outmatched by the Japs in the sea. Unless something turned the tide in this battle, it could end as a disaster, specially now that the amphibious landing ships loaded with soldiers were thrown into the middle of the mess.

Decades later, An environmentalist eurofag libtard idiot would be more sad about the coral that got hurt by this battle than about the thousands of brave patriots that would die at this day.

Including the fucking goldfishes, of course! :retarded:

Battle of Midway Music Video

The Sun has faded

lphoi2fadingsun019.jpg

bat.jpg

As the Battle of the Inner Sea reaches a dramatic point, the tactical bombers sent to Japan by the UDMS-KKK would prove themselves to be the forces that would tip the balance of the battle. Some of the enemy ships also suffered being poorly supplied.

lphoi2fadingsun020.jpg

yorktown1.jpg

Sinking_7589.jpg

Like in the Battle of Midway in another timeline, the USS Yorktown didn't make it through to see another day, and the other surviving carrier was in a bad shape. However, if they broke down, dozens of thousands of soldiers inside transport ships would be defenseless. And thus, the crew of the Yorktown also goes to the end in their duty, and fought to the last.

:salute:

lphoi2fadingsun021.jpg

jap-transport.jpg

Unfortunately, some of the enemy ships have managed to sneak past the main line and attack one of the transports. Had no main line of combat ships existed, even more transports would perish. However, now, there would be no retreat. This battle was the last stand of Japan, if it is won, the resistance of the enemy will be crushed. Two Japanese capital ships have perished, and thus, it becomes clear that with the support of tactical bombers, the UDMS-KKK may yet emerge victorious.

lphoi2fadingsun022.jpg

belgrano.jpg

The patriots of more two ships have gone through their final duty. No matter the losses, the UDMS-KKK must show they are not afraid of fighting to the end, that like in Managua, they will give no concessions, they will go through, no matter the cost. Hirohito must die.

lphoi2fadingsun023.jpg

battleship_yamato_sinking.jpg

lphoi2fadingsun024.jpg

The Japanese then take much heavier losses, with both one of their carriers and a battleship going down. With this, this bloody final naval battle is over. The Kwans have lost the USS Yorktown(like in Midway), the light carrier USS Independence, the Heavy Cruiser USS Louisville and three transport ships loaded with soldiers. This was anything but an easy battle, and were it not for the tactical bombers, it could have turned the other way. Although the Kwanzanian losses were significant, the Japanese losses were even greater strategically. They lost three battlecruisers, one heavy cruiser, one battleship, one light carrier and one battleship. That is a total of six capital ships, and most important of all, with this victory,

lphoi2fadingsun025.jpg

A new front would be opened to accelerate the ultimate demise of Japan.

lphoi2fadingsun026.jpg

Fukuoka would fall. Perhaps in a sharp irony of history, the Japanese army closest thing to a last stand would happen in Hiroshima(The foces at Shikoku were too small to offer any significant resistance). The battle of Hiroshima would crush the last remnant of the Japanese Army, like the Battle of Inland sea have crushed the IJN.

The largest breakthrough in 20th century military aviation happens. The development of the first turbojet fighter of humanity, the PZL LIM-1, is over. Immediately, research shifts to the development of turbojet escorts, while a massive production contract starts to manufacture thousands of these interceptors in preparation for the planned liberation of Eurasia. (In game terms, the difference between turbojet and prop interceptors is well represented in the leap from 15 air attack - ability to attack other aircrafts - of the last prop-based interceptor to 22 air attack in the first turbojet interceptor. This is a roughly 68% increase)

And thus, the battle of Hiroshima happens at 4th of September, 1944. The end of Japan is nigh. Shikoku shall take little effort to be captured.

lphoi2fadingsun031.jpg

After a bloody one-day long battle, the enemy resistance is about to be broken, as some crazy Japanese generals demand the mass suicide of hundreds of thousands instead of allowing themselves to surrender.

lphoi2fadingsun032.jpg

But it no longers matter. Hiroshima is secured, and although it is somewhat saddening to sad so many Japanese soldiers going emo and becoming an heroes, not all of them went through this insanity. They were simply asked to lay down their weapons and go back to their families. There was little point to make prisoners of war when the war was essentially won. The plan was to leave Japan alone once this was over, like was done after the liberation of Tokyo, for few would oppose liberty and democracy, not way too much to be beyond the grasp of civilian law enforcement. This war have been always pointless. The UDMS-KKK had no strategic need of occupying Japan, and they were willing to negotiate giving Tokyo back in exchange of Japan embracing democracy and returning to the fold of the Foedus of Man to fight together in defense of humanity, but in the end, the pride of a few spoke louder than the good of most.

lphoi2fadingsun033.jpg

lphoi2fadingsun034.jpg

But with the end of Shikoku, these few who instigated this war, who launched the cowardly attack on Pearl Harbor, these few would die. Japan would be molded into denying multikult and faggotry, and there would be no Hetalia bullshit about Poland being a faggot lover of Lithuania. It was over, and even more ironic, unless some nuisance alien fleet ruined everything, that 09/11 would be the day Japan fell.

lphoi2fadingsun035.jpg

lphoi2fadingsun036.jpg

What I was saying just happened. So no 09/11 coincidence will happen.

September 16, 1944. The war is over! Japan becomes part of the UDMS-KKK despite the disgruntled opposition of much of its population. The war being over was a deceptively wrong hope. It would be the last war fought between human nations in Earth for a long time, but there was another war going on, against a much more dangerous, powerful, deadly and merciless enemy than the empire of Japan.

lphoi2fadingsun039.jpg

Fortunately, the defeat of Japan brought something that would greatly accelerate the preparations for continuing this war, for, in face of the greater threat to humanity, in face of not being executed for the crime of "treason against the Foedus of Man" and in face of getting much better wages than what Hirohito offered, many tacticians and researchers have volunteered to support the effort of reducing the technological distance to the aliens. On another matter, animes would still exist now, but a least not suck as much as they would otherwise.

I need an excuse to bring this thread faster to Page 13. So, I was a bit undecided and couldn't bother about the UDMS-KKK flag which is why so far haven't edited it. Until now. Of course, I went with the laziest approach, and by extension the most politically incorrect one.

Remember when I mentioned the UDMS-KKK was supposed to be a world standard of democracy? I may regret this but whatever.

================================

End of the Sosnkowski Era? First Elections of the UDMS-KKK.

Shortly after the defeat of Japan, while people celebrated that there would be at least a year without more offensive wars, an uncertainty began to loom over the future of the UDMS-KKK, and by extension, of humanity. Established in 1941, the young State would soon complete 4 years of existence. Four years was the established term limit for the temporary government by the former Polish government-in-exile, and for all governments to come.

Thus a time of inanity was coming soon, but the shifts in society boiled things to a point that moderate political parties were the exception rather than the rule. Sosnkowski, having saved Amerikwa from a seemingly inevitable doom, having led the survivors through the darkest times, had a very strong popularity, although some still wanted for an Amerikkkwan president to be their representative rather than a Pole refugee.

And many disagreed with the classical liberalism that was followed as the official ideology of the temporary government. Some claimed it was surpassed by the growing Objectivist movement, while others accused it of being a tool to exploit to oppressed proletariat, and others claimed that a society is unable to survive without welfare. And there was an even stronger movement among all of them, specially in South America: a new take on fascism that deviates from the previous doctrines in its clearly anti-racist and internationalist values, called the New Integralism.

It was a bit more interesting due to the quite balanced popularity between six rather than only two or three political parties. But that was coming in November. It would be a long time yet.

After the fall of Japan, a Soviet diplomat received a message from Osha confirming they stand for the independence of Korea. Nobody cared, after all, the Soviet Union was simply a wreck, a corpse of a fallen nation that refused to rest for unknown reasons.

Along the tense climate of incoming elections, the Multinational Congress would support a very polemic law suggested by a young conservative politician and actor called Ronald Reagan. Britain protested against the proclamation, but there was little they could really do while settlers from Kwanzania began to change population statistics in the island and territories. Claims will be based upon shared language, which essentially means that Centroamerica and Union Suramerican shall have 50/50 the Spanish isles in Atlantic, Brazil will get claims over all the Portuguese islands in the Atlantic, the United States will take the British-controlled part of the Guyanas and some isles of the Caribbean, United French States will get French Guyana and also some isles of the Caribbean and Suriname and Corazon will become an autonomous region because of being the only dutch-speaking region of all Kwanzanias.

Amerikkkwa for the Amerikkkwans!

A new problem has risen after the fall of Japan. The amount of partisans have increased to near-problematic levels after the annexation. Before, many hoped that the UDMS-KKK would give Japan the right to become a sovereign democracy, but now it was no longer true, and thus things were heating up in a serious insurgency, which combined with the Japanese culture and Kamikaze concept, would lead to the first cases of terrorism and suicide bombers in Earth.

But for now, things were more or less under control despite the large percentage of Japanese civilians waging guerrilla warfare.

In another very risky operation to infiltrate another alien base, where certain things have been seen that cannot be unseen, other members of the Death Watch have once again managed to come back alive with their discovery: the alien equivalent of The War Nerd regarding quality in an article about ancient Aerial Tactics. At least it was better than the aliens' National Geographic about synthetic fossil fuels.

Meanwhile, if the intelligence report is reliable, the enemy has more than 13 million soldiers across Europe, Asia and Africa and legions of tanks and aircrafts. The only good thing, if this report is right, the victory at San Jose and the subsequence sabotage of as many alien fighters as possible before they could take off have crippled the enemy air superiority capabilities, considering once they had more than a hundred of fighters.

lphoi2sosnkera006.jpg

The equivalent of Operation Paperclip being done involving the greatest Japanese minds is showing its benefits. Not only now the UDMS-KKK has access to minds specialized at carrier-centric naval warfare tactics, but also far more superior tech teams than anything they had before.

lphoi2sosnkera007.jpg

There may be peace in the surface, but the air is filled with enemy aircrafts. England has become a Bunker Country to be able to survive through years of bombardment, and deep underground construction is happening every day, while on surface as many brave men as possible attempt to stop the flames and repair the daily damage. The British are the only of all Foedus of Man members that respect the UDMS-KKK, and thus, the new Battle of Britain shall be a perfect testing ground for the soon to come turbojet fighters.

lphoi2sosnkera008.jpg

Impatient about the goodwill of Britain, and having massive reserves of valuable resources, the UDMS-KKK negotiates one by one all the territories under British control claimed by the Reagan doctrine. These territories will also give the UDMS-KKK access to Eurasia and Africa without having to rely on foreign ports for setting up future amphibious operations. Things have, all in all, slowed down. All that happened was for most of the troops in Japan but a few, kept there in case of larger problems with insurgents, to have returned home, and for a few isolated naval skirmishes with nuisance flotillas of the aliens. The surviving ships of the two battlefleets that fought at the Inland Sea were undergoing repairs, as many of them suffered severe damages from that battle, and thus it was decided to, for now, not pursue the nuisance flotillas. It was up, once again, for the Death Watch to bring the most interesting events from the time between the end of the Kwan-Japanese War and the first elections of the UDMS-KKK.

A secret found, right under their noses, right under them.

Since ITZ, the Nellis Air Force base, near Roswell in Nevada, has been abandoned, and the new government saw no strategic purpose in a base so distant from the coast. Next to it, at the Groom Lake, a far more secretive facility existed, and by coincidence, it was found out.

area-51-no-photos1-300x238.jpg

Old warnings from the previous government still lied there. They ignored them. The place was completely derelict. After a long walk they reached the large blast door buried into the mountain. It was half open. That is where the report ends. The four members of the team simply came back with some considerable amounts of blueprints and even with a crude Alien language to English dictionary. They couldn't remember what really happened while they were inside, they just said that it was like suddenly seeing the material in their hands, and thus they safely returned, the mystery of this Groom Lake facility still remaining unexplained.

lphoi2sosnkera009.jpg

And they brought back something of immense value. A set of blueprints that could be used to create better turbojet engines and better airframes for flight at higher speeds than those piston prop airframes were used to. And even more importantly, a prototype of a stealth aircraft. This has been the most successful operation of gathering of intelligence regarding alien technology to this date.

It was the last significant event before the day the future of the UDMS-KKK would be decided.

lphoi2sosnkera010.jpg

11th of November of 1944, the Independence day of Poland would become the day of the first elections in the new American Superstate. Six parties, six radically differently ideologies disputing for power, for their visions for the New World. All while two major technological breakthroughs happened.

At one side, the Poles-only cabinet of the Social-Democrat Party, with a plan to establish public education, public healthcare and an extensive Welfare State under the guidance of Keynesian economics, while also being completely opposed to any laws restricting immigration. Their candidates are the Prime-Minister Boleslaw Wieniawa-Dlugoszowski and the President Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski.

The temporary government was reformulated under the premises of the Liberal Party. Promoting a laissez-faire economical model combined with a conservative and jingoistic set of values that please all the militias of North Amerikwa, and having the public support of the Amerikwan actor Ronald Reagan, who managed to survive ITZ, it is, by its very nature, successful policies and for having a war hero as the Prime Minister, a strong one. Hoping to take some votes from the Objectivists, Kazimierz Sosnkowski has promised to make the laissez-faire even more laissez-faire, together with the Austrian economist Joseph Schumpeter as President.

The Objectivist Party is essentially a more radical subset of the Liberal Party, which agenda is to gradually dismantle the State and let the invisible hand of the free market eventually handle everything, including law, arbitration, security and national defense. Although not as radical as the anarcho-capitalists, it still has some very unorthodox ideas, and will turn the UDMS-KKK immediately into a Minarchy, with serious cut downs of its military as a consequence, and conversion of the remaining military into several PMCs despite the long-term plans. If they win, Ayn Rand, the youngest of all candidates, shall be the Prime Minister, with the known Austrian economists Friedrich Hayek as President, and Ludwig von Mises as Chief of Armaments to facilitate the conversion of the military into a set of private organizations.

After tha fall of fascism across the world, several proeminent South Amerikwan think-tanks and military leaders have created together the political ideal of the New Integralism. Differently from the old Integralism, the New Integralism preaches the break of all national boundaries and unification of humanity as one people, one culture and one State, all organic, with many different roles and no focus on equality like socialism, where the State itself is not a mean to achieve an end, but an end. It has a very strong support of the Catholic Church, and combined with populism, have convinced large quantities of the people in South America to support the Party. The New Integralism movement has openly announced that by voting for them, the people are voting that they think Democracy sucks and would rather have their ideal of government. Its candidates are the Brazilian Prime Minister Getulio Vargas, the Argentinian President Juan Domingo Peron and the Quebecois Jacques Moreau as the Minister of Security.

Almost as new as the New Integralism, the Democratic Communism Party is essentially an asnwer to the ultimate failure of the Soviet Union to achieve what was in theory its goal. With no weight in the world anymore, the atrocities commited by Lenin and Stalin and their totalitarian nightmare soon became common knowledge of those who survived ITZ in 1941. A group splitted off from the mainstream communism, by promoting an idea of establishing a communist state through the "democracy of the proletariat" instead of the "dictatorship of the proletariat". If elected, they will immediately turn the economy into a centrally planned one. The poorest strata of society tends to support either them or the Juche Party, that accuses them of being revisionist puppets of the bourgeoisie. Their candidates are the Mexican Prime Minister Manuel Avila Camacho and the Amerikwan President James P. Cannon

And finally, the infamous Juche Party, established by the communist vision of a Korean refugee named Kim Il-sung while the visions of Stalin and Lenin have lost popularity, the Juche is an authoritarian party that sees the establishment of communism as only achievable through a communist Party government because "democracies will always be bribed by the upper classes". Not only they will immediately start a command economy if elected, but also most likely launch great purges against the bourgeois and traitors. Their promise of creating a perfect society through violent and sometimes authoritarian means and a same degree of populism as seen in the New Integralism have drawn part of the lower classes that didn't embrace Democratic Communism to their ranks. Their candidates are the Canadian Prime Minister Tim Buck, the Brazilian President Luis Carlos Prestes, and of course, Kim Il-sung as the Minister of Security to hunt traitors and make them vanish.
