IIRC, one has to do these secondary quests before they'll give you the next main one, and won't give you secondary quests until you finish the current main one.
Plus, even generic, non-faction, "radiant" "kill-the-foozle" quests are very limited in number (3 per hold). ZOMG, Todd lied!

With these foods that regenerate stamina for more than 10 minutes, putting points in stamina seems like a total waste. It's kinda overpowered.

Amren's sword is a radiant quest I'm guessing. He lost his sword in a cave in my game. Anyway, I'm guessing this LP will follow the Companions and the Civil War quests ? Anymore and it might be a very long LP. Though judging from your other LPs, you're up for anything. :salute: :salute:

I think Ducky got the Dragonborn covered, I'll be keeping a look out on his LP so as not to repeat any of his content again, though, some for very logical reason will be undertaken in this LP.

And yes, Anus, it will be a VERY long game. Shepard has a long holiday until the Reapers arrive on earth in March.

Consider it done.

Outside...
shep.jpg
Lives are at stake, I cannot delay this mission.
02.jpg

03.jpg

shep.jpg
I'm ready.
04.jpg

Riverwood.
05.jpg

06.jpg

shep.jpg
Wonder what's inside.

A loud growl greeted Shepard as soon as he enters! It's an ice wolf!
08.jpg

He quickly drew the Flaming Greatsword.
07.jpg

shep.jpg
Let's play.
09.jpg

10.jpg

Three quick strikes later, and the beast is put down.
11.jpg

12.jpg

shep.jpg
No problem.

Shepard withdraws to the inn to get some much needed rest.
13.jpg

In the morning he recalls the Jarl's task, since he's in Riverwood, he might as well get it done.
14.jpg

shep.jpg
A theft? Perhaps I should investigate this as well.
15.jpg

The shopkeeper is having a heated argument - it seems to concern the recent theft they have suffered.
16.jpg

shep.jpg
Hello.
17.jpg

shep.jpg
Did something happen?
lucan.jpg
Yes, we did have a bit of a...break-in. But we still have plenty to sell. Robbers were only after one thing.
shep.jpg
What was stolen?
lucan.jpg
An ornament, solid gold. In the shape of a dragon's claw.
shep.jpg
Need my help?
lucan.jpg
You could? I've got some coin coming in from my last shipment. It's yours if you bring my claw back.
shep.jpg
Deal. Any idea where they at?
lucan.jpg
Now, if you're going to get those thieves, you should head to Bleak Falls Barrow, northeast of town.
shep.jpg
You're in luck. I've got some business in there as well.
camilla.jpg
So you've found a helper?
lucan.jpg
Yes. So now you don't have to go, do you?
18.jpg

lucan.jpg
Wh-no...I..Oh, by the Eight, fine! But only to the edge of town!

The woman stands up and motions at Shepard to follow her outside.
19.jpg

shep.jpg
Lead the way.
20.jpg

shep.jpg
How did he get the claw?
camilla.jpg
Lucan found the claw about a year after he opened the store. He never quite explained where he got it. He's a tricky one.
21.jpg

shep.jpg
Thanks, you tell Lucan not to worry, the Claw's as good as returned. I take my leave.
camilla.jpg
Best of luck!
shep.jpg
Let's go, Normandy!
22.jpg

23.jpg

shep.jpg
Hmm. A small post...
24.jpg

shep.jpg
Looks like trouble.

Shepard notches an arrow and takes aim.
25.jpg

It flies true. Taking down the bandit in one hit.
26.jpg

The bandit's cohort emerge from the tower and engage Shepard at close range, his fur armor barely protecting him from the battle axe.
27.jpg

28.jpg

shep.jpg
Retard.

Shepard edges forward into the ruined tower, axe still drawn.
29.jpg

shep.jpg
Looks like it's saf-
30.jpg

shep.jpg
Yeah, for you.
31.jpg

32.jpg

That was the last of the bandits. Shepard picked them for anything valuable and rode Normandy up the cliff. Bleak Falls beckons.
33.jpg

shep.jpg
This is where the real battle starts.

Shepard dismounts and made sure Normandy is hidden from view.
34.jpg

Bow drawn, he crept closer to the ruins' entrance. There will be more killing before the day ends.

Good update RK47, as always

I plan on also doing the civil war quests, but if it takes too long I might end up leaving them to you.

:salute: Great as always and more quality LARP LPs are always a good thing. (though I'll admit I'm still butthurt about the lack of FO2 )

With the amount of bullshit encounters I have to endure in Fallout 2 - from my memory anyway, I doubt I could stand having to reload after suffering Nth critical death. I admit, Outdoorsman would've plugged that annoyance, but even the Temple of Trials itself is already bugging me with the forced combat unless Speech/Steal is tagged.

Also, I never finished it, got to Oil Rig, couldn't beat the big bad, and decided it wasn't worth reloading over and over. That was around 10 years ago. Till this day, I'm not even curious about it. A few replays 5 years back put me back on the Oil Rig again, with the same result for my Melee/Retarded character. Fuck me. F2 was an oversized buffet. I wasn't having much fun and decided maybe it's time to just let go. Even browsing weaboo porn is more fun than rolling critical on eyes for every combat playthrough.

I'm sorry if my Fallout 1 LP ending hints on the sequel a bit too much, I was gonna LP Fallout 2, then I took an arrow to the knee. And here we are. :smug:

Describes the nature of transition from Fallout 2 to Skyrim quite perfectly. :smug:

The guards outside were no match for Shepard, his battleaxe claims two more lives before he enters the crypt.
01.jpg

02.jpg

04.jpg

shep.jpg
What that woman said may be right - the bandits aren't hiding in here...they must be after a treasure, maybe the same thing the Court Wizard sent me to retrieve. I better pick up the pace.
05.jpg

Taking stock of the situation, the lone hero goes through the motions wordlessly, exercising extreme ranged take downs without pause.
06.jpg

07.jpg

shep.jpg
That's that. Let's go deep...
08.jpg

shep.jpg
A lever. Right in front of a lowered gate. How convenient.

Pulling it, however, triggers a trap.
09.jpg

shep.jpg
Poisoned darts. Good thing I have Redguard's blood.
10.jpg

shep.jpg
Hm. These stones look peculiar.

Shepard spends some time exercising 10% of his braincells and realize the stones can be moved.
11.jpg

shep.jpg
There. Two snakes and a fish.
12.jpg

13.jpg

shep.jpg
Webs...
14.jpg

shep.jpg
Someone is ahead - one of the bandits perhaps?
15.jpg

shep.jpg
Another critter.

A few mighty thwacks, and Shepard fell the gigantic pain in the butt.
16.jpg

shep.jpg
Who's there?
17.jpg

shep.jpg
Hey. Who're you?
18.jpg

shep.jpg
Where's the golden claw?
19.jpg

20.jpg

shep.jpg
Hand over the claw first!
21.jpg

Shepard cuts the bandit down, once freed, however, the bandit makes a run for it.
22.jpg

shep.jpg
You won't get far..

Keeping a casual pace, Shepard hears fighting ahead and realizes the bandit must've awoken the Draugrs within!
23.jpg

shep.jpg
Sheesh. Looks like he's dead. Time to clean up this mess.
24.jpg

The battle was short, but the accumulated experience starts to grow, but Shepard wasn't ready to improve his weapon skills - it's time to pick something else.
25.jpg

shep.jpg
Refining my armor and weapons can only help me out in the long run.

Shepard grabs the Golden Claw from the dead man's pocket.
26.jpg

shep.jpg
Could've stayed alive if you stood by me. Hmmm, a journal?
27.jpg

shep.jpg
Hall of stories? Looks like I got the key, thanks, dude.

More clumsy undead blocks the way, but Shepard takes the opportunity to trap their souls.
28.jpg

29.jpg

None of the encounters were particularly memorable. It took him a while to find the entry Vault, but the golden claw he holds, has all the solutions to the locks.
shep.jpg
Bear, Butterfly, and Owl. Just like what is carved on the claw.

Shepard pushes the claw into the three holes and hears a loud grumble of earth.
31.jpg

32.jpg

shep.jpg
And here's the mother lode.
33.jpg

shep.jpg
Hang on..that wall. I've seen it before...oh shit, there's that stupid chanting again.

Music: Dragonborn

Sensing the glowing words once more, Shepard approaches.
34.jpg

shep.jpg
Wonder what this one means?
35.jpg

shep.jpg
Force...unrelenting force.
36.jpg

shep.jpg
Huh...that's all. Still, I need that Dragonstone...

Suddenly a stone lid bursts open from behind!
shep.jpg
Right on cue.
37.jpg

A draugr overlord brandishing a battleaxe attacks Shepard!
38.jpg

shep.jpg
You look slightly tougher, but still, too slow.

The draugr opens its mouth and shouts at Shepard, to our hero surprise, he is knocked back!
39.jpg

shep.jpg
What the- nice trick! But you're going down!

The overlord used to be standing upright, but he took Shepard's axe to the knees.
40.jpg

shep.jpg
Good bye, you ugly sonuvabitch.
41.jpg

The overhead connects brutally, flooring the undead, granting it eternal rest.
42.jpg

43.jpg

shep.jpg
That's that. Let's see if you got what I'm looking for...
44.jpg

shep.jpg
Jackpot. I'm outta this shithole.

Finding a secret exit behind the wall, Shepard ascends up towards the sunlight and find himself staring down a cliff just slightly south of Riverwood.
45.jpg

shep.jpg
Still gotta run back and get Normandy. Well. Time to move!

Fuck me! Nintendo did horses much better (no zoo-mo) in OoT (1998).

As for the animu part - it looks that Skyrim influences RK47's mind in some strange ways...

Max out your Smithing slowly throughout the game as you get the money to buy items to craft.

You'll love it, trust me. It pays off.

I know it does, but going by rational logic, Shepard should be hopping from one hotspots to another, not walking up to every smith in town, buying up all irons and hammering it to daggers.

It's this sort of 'crafting = character level' tie up that irks me. Not a big issue, but it pays off lots for very little risk. It's a safe bet. You cannot, absolutely NOT lose out from doing this.
