anything except codex LP are simply not worth itThere's an LP of it somewhere on the Something Awful forums, if you're interested.
A lot more risky it would be to directly storm the police station - all or nothing. If we succeed we would have enough weapons and a perfect operational base. To be honest I'm tempted to try it.
All right, we finished searching the starting point.
We also have 8 cooking ingredients and 5 snacks.
Dick is getting along much better with everybody after I spread that rumor about him.
So where to from now? If Moribund wants to get to a store, perhaps we could breach the empty houses beside the diner, and then get into the store beside them? Or else would you like to breach the church and/or the diner, as Morkar suggested? Or perhaps we could combine those two ideas and breach towards the shops in the west, starting with the diner? And then maybe come back to take on the police station when we have more weapons?
We have plenty of food and food will stay fresh til you find it so there's no point in going to the diner any time soon. Doing a house on the way to store should be fine though.
I don't want to be the only one voting. I'm not sure personally, it would depend on how many zombies were at the factory, I guess.
I'm happy with an assault for the sake of safety, but it has a lower chance of successfully turning into a breach, right?

Yup! In all my hours of playing, I've never once had an assault successfully turn into a breach, though it's possible if you manage to clear every single zombie out.
And I'll wait until more votes are in before proceeding, if that's fine with you.
We could also do what I suggested in the first try before it crashed and investigate every single store to find what had a weapons cache then all of us breach it, but it's probably better to keep things simple until we have more weapons and ammo.

There are three stores in the SW corner, so chances are high that at least one of them is a weapons cache. Therefore, the most efficient thing we can do right now is probably just breach all the houses and stores to the SW, instead of wasting time investigating. IMHO, anyway.
EDIT: If there aren't any weapons in the stores to the SW, the fourth store is literally one house away from the west-most store. So we can just curve back up to breach THAT, and by then we should have plenty of weapons, food, etc.
