Our turn to deliver the pain.

01.jpg

Badly hurt that 5 AG runner finally - IainC decides this is unacceptable and calls upon his final apo to bring it back for the next drive - if there is even a next drive. :smug:

02.jpg

Anyways, let's work with the ball, Arkay will have to forgo his 1 SPP play for now.
Twin runners are never good company.
Besides the landing zone is quite clear...

03.jpg

04.jpg

Jaedar and Humpalekka making no mistake in clearing the landing zone.

05.jpg

Here comes the legendary Accurate - Strong Armed, Xenomorph.

06.jpg

What swagger -

07.jpg

Such power.

08.jpg

09.jpg

Much confidence.
Time to end this turn with a bang.

10.jpg

Literally...

11.jpg

 Jasede's boyfriend finally hurt that Rat Ogre but gets himself stunned in the process.
1 SPP to go!

Our Star is down
And when I mean star, it's Fagsalom.

01.jpg

:hmmm: What will we do without him?
Rats try for the ball -
03.jpg

But Jaedar stays on his feet.

04.jpg

Our LOS is barely operational though as they end their turn.
Whatever, opens our turn with another Geralt of Rivia Special Stunner.

01.jpg

Jaedar decides the ball is too hot to carry, calls for a run back. Humpalekka obliges...

02.jpg

This will surely work.

04.jpg

05.jpg

:hmmm: Forgot about that asshole's Pass Block again...

06.jpg

Hah, fuck you!

07.jpg

Oh shit, Arkay fucks it up again! But LundB with the recovery catch!
Turn is not over!

08.jpg

Arkay marks the Runner and ends the team's turn.

We will fuck Obama

Jaedar said my play was terribly risky on the last turn.
A crowd surf shuts him up though...
01.jpg

02.jpg

03.jpg

Luckily he's not injured.

04.jpg

Arkay's unharmed and stays trolling as the rats ends the turn, running out of ideas despite getting two human players out of the game.

01.jpg

Ogre wakes up.
Time to move up with the ball...

02.jpg

03.jpg

Fuck cages. Who needs cage vs puny rats. Let's go for it!

04.jpg

Again!

05.jpg

Ha! Did you see that Roxor?!

06.jpg

Time to extract Whitewolf from a gangbang situation.

07.jpg

Successful Dogeful Blitz!

08.jpg

Only a push on the first try - but makes a second!

09.jpg

Downed the runner! Arkay to dodge out into receiving position!

10.jpg

Good. Do it again!

11.jpg

12.jpg

No fucks to give as we end our turn!

Rat Chase
Runner does a wake up dodge -

02.jpg

03.jpg

Probably trying not to get punched by Whitewolf...

04.jpg

Slips a marker on LundB.

05.jpg

Incoming blitz.

06.jpg

Shit.

07.jpg

Not good. Turn over for the rats.
We gotta rescue the ball now.

01.jpg

Looks good. Azira's turn to contribute.

02.jpg

03.jpg

Success.

04.jpg

Whitewolf will mock them further.

05.jpg

Dodges out and -

06.jpg

Makes a pick up without a reroll!

07.jpg

Xenomorph needs to get out too but failed. I think he's worth a reroll burn.

08.jpg

Nearly done.

09.jpg

Yeah continue to mark me guys. Turn Ends.

01.jpg

Arkay gets taken down next turn but unhurt.

02.jpg

They want to setup that 1D block on Whitewolf, it's their best chance to get the ball back.

03.jpg

Wake up Blitz by the Stormvermin! This is it!

04.jpg

Hah! :smug: He calls a reroll!

05.jpg

 Go home and become a family rat.

06.jpg

In return, Whitewolf gave him a Broken Jaw for the trouble.

:yeah: Time to end this!

01.jpg

Azira finally scoring some blood of his own.

02.jpg

Xenomorph will blitz!

03.jpg

See ya - sections of the crowd tramples the out of bounds rat and injured it.
Just a badly hurt, but enough to make the Fursecutors sweat it out due to no apothecary.

04.jpg

Ogre's turn...

05.jpg

Ding Dong bells. Rats are getting pummeled out there.
stabby moves up, ready for that Diving Catch as Whitewolf makes a play for his 76th Star Player Point...

06.jpg

And...

07.jpg

Way to ruin it - reroll.

09.jpg

Two veterans have been with the team from the start - stabby calls for another attempt.

10.jpg

And there it is! A superstar is born!

08.jpg

Turn ends as the crowd cheers this momentous occasion.

Gonna fly now
No more option left - Fursecution with a dodge to blitz and FAILS!

01.jpg

KO! It's done!

02.jpg

03.jpg

Knights just buying time and running down the clock as the rats can't really reach stabby who has the ball on the edge of the field.

04.jpg

One spiteful blitz on Xeno and that's that.

05.jpg

More drama as Knights risk a turnover for bashing SPPs...

06.jpg

Arkay only scoring a KO - but that's all the non ball plays they can do - it's time to seal the win!

07.jpg

Knights 3-2!

08.jpg

It's GG as the Knight's Coach celebrates!

mexican-soccer-coach-super-saiyan-gif.gif%3Fw%3D584

09.jpg

Error-stricken two halves and a fateful final drive for the first half - what a game as the rats receive the final kick that had very little chance to score.

10.jpg

 The Trolling just won't stop for tonight's game.

11.jpg

Fursecutors keep their cool and complete a pass before doing a 2D block for push on muckguppy...
Full time, Knights 3 Fursecution 2! 12 points out of 12!

12.jpg

20 out of 20 match rating says the whole story, five touchdowns and 8 casualties and a slew of interceptions.
But nothing can top that display of audacity of turn 8's touchdown.
And therefore the judges has decided to award the MVP to anyone but Fagsalom.

13.jpg

:troll:
That's all for tonight's game thank you for reading and good night!
Summary by Fursecution's Coach, IainC
Fursecution 2 - 3 Knights of Codexia

First half was massively exciting, lots of end-to-end action from both teams and some glory plays. I opted to receive, put some rats downfield and backpedalled for a bit before scoring from a pass on turn 3. The next drive let the Knights benefit from 12 players on the pitch which I didn't notice until checking the log on BBManager later. The knights caged up and I decided to fireball them, four Knights were under the blast and three were hit including the ball carrier. None broke armour however. I got he ball and handed it off to a thrower who scampered out of range. Next turn I tried an ill-advised pass to a marked Gutter Runner only to see the ball intercepted by one of the markers. The Knights quickly turned around, charged down the flank and made a pass to equalise. With only 3 turns left I went for another fast play and put more rats downfield. RK marked them all but I got one free and into the endzone. A run-handoff-run-pass play almost came to a screeching halt when the pass went wide but I was very lucky and it bounced into the hands of the waiting Gutter Runner anyway for a score. The last drive of the half went almost the same way in reverse. RK had two turns to score and he flooded my backfield with bodies. I marked them all and blitzed down the one with Catch but he was able to complete a pass, dodge away from the marker and make the GfI required to tie the game at halftime.

The second half was much more one sided. The Humans took Skaven off the pitch with monotonous regularity, three injuries and a KO in four consecutive blocks at one point. I got the ball off the Knights during a bit of a scramble but had nowhere to take it and nothing to support it with. The Humans consolidated their numbers advantage while keeping the ball out of reach until the last turn when they scored the winner. At that point I had 5 injured rats and 3 in the KO box. The last turn was uneventful and the game was done. I got two level ups including +1ag on a Gutter Runner. One Stormvermin will miss the next game.

Post Match Level Ups

I've been waiting for this.
We've got two levels ups to give - Whitewolf the Superstar and... two match - two MVPs rookie lineman - muckguppy.

01.jpg

First up, our Superstar finally completes his offensive skill set with Tackle. No Dodge is safe from him now.

02.jpg

I just can't see piling on being useful with his niggling injury threatening to kill him when the armor breaks.
A second armor or injury roll on Defender Down might seem useful but considering he has Dodge and Stand Firm, going down is not a very good idea.

03.jpg

There. Only 100 SP more for Legendary status. We'll get there.
Whitewolf Career Records:
Matches Played 24 MVPs 2 Touchdowns 4
3 Killed, 26 Badly hurt or worse, and 23 Knock Outs

Now we move on to Rookie of the season, scoring two MVPs in two matches where his only contribution is the odd 2 dice block on LOS or getting punched... Muckguppy.

04.jpg

:hmmm: Well bless my heart. Shit's real.

06.jpg

OK, that's our first ST4 piece.

07.jpg

Huge TV bloat at 1930TV but that's to be expected with 15 players.

09.jpg

Anthony Davis did not make any significant contribution in his debut game, oh well we'll see what we can do in the last 3 games.

Here are the upcoming ties:
MD5: Huitzilopochtli's Gift - 1100 TV Khorne Demons - Megrim
MD6: Chaos String Theorists - 1300 TV Chaos - Satael
MD7: Family of Twitch - 1230 TV Skaven - Jaedar

I'll see you then!

BB0392.jpg

boreale.jpg
That's right, bruvas. The Emprah puts us to the test, making us face another team of khorne daemons and cultists.

carron.jpg
SINDRIIIIIIIIIIIII

BB0390.jpg

His team is as follows. He has 3 blocks on bloodletters and 1 leader on a cultist. He also bought a rookie bloodthirster right before starting the game.

BB0391.jpg

This left him with 280k inducements that he spent on wizard + 2nd apoth.

The battleplan is basically the same as last time - try to troll some frenzies, don't get outbashed, and attempt to use our skillz and higher MAs to our advantage.

BB0393.jpg

BB0394.jpg

Winning the coin toss, it would be retarded of me to not receive.

BB0395.jpg

WHEN SUDDENLY

borealesad.jpg

Excessive bloom makes commander Boreale cry.

BB0396.jpg

Blinding sun is very, very bad for us. Limiting our already limited ag3 passing plays is uncool as hell.

Still, I set up our dudes with the hope of taking down their los, making a break through the right flank, and marking the left flank + BT.

BB0397.jpg

The kick-off changes the weather! This will become VERY SIGNIFICANT later on.

BB0398.jpg

VERY SIGNIFICANT because the graphics stayed all bloomy despite the changing weather, WHICH FOOLED ME INTO THINKING THE BLINDING SUN IS STILL THERE

still, let's get it on

BB0399.jpg

Off to a great start, as the ogre fails a 3d block.

BB0400.jpg

Marking BT.

BB0401.jpg

And screening the left flank.

BB0403.jpg

Major Glory stuns a herald on the right, creating a much needed seed for the future breakthroughs.

BB0404.jpg

BB0406.jpg

General Motors picks up the ball, and I set up the catchers around him for sum TZs, just in case.

Turnover.

BB0407.jpg

The pain train starts with Major Minor hitting the dirt.

BB0408.jpg

And then Major Glory gets KO'd.

Major Glory is actually a very problematic player, and probably the most useless blitzer in existence. That's because he has av7 and a niggling injury, which essentially means he's got a target painted on his face. But the problem is that I can't just fire him like that because he's the only dude with tackle on my team - tackle that will now become oh so important against the upcoming halflings and rats. BUT his flimsiness has already caused him to miss 2 out of the 4 matches in this league, and now he gets KO'd on first turn.

BB0409.jpg

BT takes down Private Industry. And that's it for that turn.

BB0410.jpg

The right flank got way too crowded, so let's try doing some funky shit on the left.

BB0412.jpg

SLAM! Major Surgery delivers a stunning blow.

BB0413.jpg

Moving around sum dudes. Turnover.

BB0414.jpg

Private Industry is down again.

BB0415.jpg

Same with General Specific.

BB0417.jpg

And Major Surgery gets stunned by a blitzing BT :rage:

BB0418.jpg

Turnover.

BB0419.jpg

Rescuing Major Minor has top priority now. Especially since a very juicy break is now showing itself on the right.

BB0420.jpg

borealemad.jpg
no... FUREH REROLL

BB0421.jpg

SLAM!

borealehappy.jpg

BB0422.jpg

He... actually used an apoth for the badly hurt regen bloodletter...? :hmmm:

BB0423.jpg

Looking good so far. I don't move the ogre fearing bonehead. He's better off roadblocking those 2 linos in the middle. Turnover.

BB0424.jpg

BB0425.jpg

Hnnnngggggggg

BB0426.jpg

Major Minor hits the sideline again

BB0428.jpg

Then it's time for Private Public.

BB0429.jpg

And this, gentlemen, was the key turn. The key turn of horrible massive fuckhueg unforgivable derp.

BB0430.jpg

I start with setting up 1 catcher next to the herald, and blitzing with Mjr Minor.

BB0431.jpg

Should have pushed the herald to the left, instead of diagonal, but no matter. Minor then moves ahead, providing an assist for Private Industry who takes down a cultist.

BB0432.jpg

Linos thinking they can escape the ogre's loving embrace :smug:

BB0434.jpg

And here was my downfall.

Because of the constantly bloomy graphix at the start, I was still sure at this point that the weather was sunny. But, as you may remember, it changed to normal on the kick-off. Why I didn't notice that? Fucked if I know.

If I dodged out the catcher out of the bloodletter and ran him down the pitch, he'd be in a completely safe position for a pass. But I didn't want to risk a pass due to the "sun", so instead I ran the carrier-thrower down to a rather risky position with 2 gfis.

Right next to the downed herald. But I figured that with a guard blitzer and block, he'd be fairly safe in that spot anyway.

BB0437.jpg

WHEN SUDDENLY...

borealemad.jpg
WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?!

BB0438.jpg

Fireball rolls 3 1s, not harming anyone... lol.

BUT THEN THE HERALD BLITZES

BB0439.jpg

REROLLS 1D ATTACKER DOWN INTO DEFENDER DOWN

AND OF COURSE MY FUCKING LINO CAN'T CATCH THE FUCKING SCATTER BALL, BUT HIS LINO CAN CATCH IT PERFECTLY FINE BECAUSE FUCK YOU DARTH ROXOR

borealesad.jpg

BB0440.jpg

Major Surgery is down.

BB0441.jpg

Same for private public after a frenzy.

At this point I started getting very slightly angry, thinking "how about you FAIL a fucking frenzy block for a change, goddamned luckerfag"

BB0443.jpg

And to top it all, another blitzer got KO'd. Lovely. Turnover.

BB0445.jpg

Sir, this is not looking good. If we don't get relieved soon, we're finished.

borealemad.jpg
SHOW THEM OUR FUREH!

BB0446.jpg

General Specific does a wake-up 2d blitz, which, of course, ends only with a push (EVEN AFTER A FUCKING REROLL)

BB0447.jpg

Which leaves Private Industry only with a 1d block to use against the carrier :hmmm:

Wrestles him down, releasing the ball south

BB0448.jpg

Doge out of the BT

BB0449.jpg

Clearing TZs around Major Minor. Turnover.

BB0450.jpg

BT succeeds on a blitz, cuz hey, why not.

BB0451.jpg

:smug:

BB0452.jpg

borealemad.jpg

BB0453.jpg

3680655443_2a2fe42d2c_o.png

BB0454.jpg

BB0455.jpg

FK U :rpgcodex:

he rerolls...

BB0457.jpg

borealesad.jpg
.....

BB0458.jpg

And that's another successful ag3 pick-up with no reroll!

BB0459.jpg

BB0460.jpg

FOR FUCK'S SAKE

BB0462.jpg

I DUN LIKE THESE ODDS LAH

We are now 4 people down, 2 badly hurts and 2 KOs, ogre is still stunned, and another guy is down by the sideline with a herald waiting to rape him.

This leaves us with 5 dudes, out of which 3 are very badly marked.

BB0463.jpg

Corporal Cloth doges out to provide an assist.

BB0464.jpg

Here comes the wakeupdogebritz...

BB0466.jpg

borealemad.jpg
NO! TRY THAT AGEHN, BRUVA

BB0467.jpg

borealesad.jpg
...

BB0468.jpg

Turnover as the ball gets loose again.

BB0469.jpg

A 3d blitz against Cloth, but with blodge/sidestep he's not that easy to bring down.

BB0470.jpg

I side step him into the ball... OF COURSE FAILS TO CATCH IT, AND SENDS IT STRAIGHT INTO A CULTIST'S CRYPTO AG5 BIG HAND THAT CATCHES IT NO PROBLEM

BB0471.jpg

Dem frenzies...

BB0472.jpg

borealesad.jpg

BB0474.jpg

Major Surgery is the next one to fall.

BB0476.jpg

Followed by Major Minor.

BB0477.jpg

At least the BT wild animal'd.

BB0478.jpg

But he uses a lino anyway to stun-foul Major Surgery. HNNGGGGGG. TURNOVER

BB0480.jpg

He has two turns to score. If we can delay it ever so slightly, he's fucked. Private Public moves in as a possible screen.

BB0481.jpg

And Major Minor doges out to provide a killing blow on the carrier, should he run off too far.

BB0482.jpg

Here comes the 1d, 2gfi, doge blitz...

BB0483.jpg

FUCK YOU DOGE

TURNOVER

BB0485.jpg

Not surprisingly, Private Public is down after a frenzy reblock

I WISH I HAD THIS MAD FUCKING LUCK WITH MY BLOCK ROLLS

BB0486.jpg

Ogre survives BT attack.

And the ball carrier runs down the pitch with 2 successful gfis as the turn ends.

BB0488.jpg

Riiiiiiiight...

The carrier lino is still within Major Minor's reach.

BB0492.jpg

But that will need clearing out one tackle zone with the ogre. Best keep the doges to a minimum.

BB0493.jpg

boreale.jpg
We are the spehs muhrines...

BB0494.jpg

borealemad.jpg
WE ARE THE EMPRAH'S...

BB0495.jpg

borealesad.jpg
fureh...

BB0496.jpg

BB0497.jpg

4 gfis in two turns, np.

ag3 in 1 tz pickup, np

borealesad.jpg

BB0498.jpg

BB0499.jpg

At least both ko'd blitzers get up. And with 2 backup linos, we'll still have 11 dudes for next drive.

BB0500.jpg

Unfortunately, he also still has 11 dudes for this drive.

And now it's our turn to kick...

Secret Military Union vs Huitzilopotchli's Gift, 2nd half

Also, here's a funny game for you: count the amount of successful blocks by both teams.

BB0500.jpg

The Union is kicking this time. I set up 2 guard dudes behind the linos on the los to troll any frenzy he could get.

BB0501.jpg

Let's see where this gets us.

BB0502.jpg

Oh?

BB0504.jpg

Of course, it's only a stun. Because why eliminate the fucking bloodletter amirite. But we'll have to make do with whatever is at hand to try to tie this shit.

The daemons retreat their entire right flank to support the prospective ball carrier.

BB0505.jpg

Bloodthirster blitz. Unfortunately juggernaut changes both down to a push.

BB0506.jpg

But Private Capacity still remains steadfast.

BB0507.jpg

The same can't be said about Private Industry.

BB0508.jpg

Private Property is the next victim...

BB0509.jpg

borealehappy.jpg
UH-OH :troll:

Something has finally worked in this rotten game.

BB0510.jpg

The daemons suffer a turnover, but the coach still managed to move most of the important pieces.

And you know what? That fucking Bloodthirster is going DOWN

BB0511.jpg

I preferred to get a lino in for a 2d block by the blitzer instead of going for 2d from ogre. Just in case.

BB0513.jpg

Moving two dudes to the right to look menacing.

BB0515.jpg

Two more dudes are sent for the same reason to the left, blitzing a bloodletter in the process.

BB0516.jpg

Ogre pops a boner, which is very bad for business atm.

BB0517.jpg

And Corporal Cloth will move in with an easy doge to look even more menacing.

BB0519.jpg

WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

boreale.jpg
:what:

3680655443_2a2fe42d2c_o.png

off to a great start

BB0521.jpg

He sets up dudes around our left dudes, picking up no problem, and blitzes with BT

BB0522.jpg

Which obviously succeeds because why not.

BB0523.jpg

OH HEY ANOTHER STUN

BB0524.jpg

BB0525.jpg

Privates Industry and Property are next to fall.

Turnover.

BB0526.jpg

Also, from this moment, things were getting more and more frantic, and I was getting increasingly enraged at the sabotaged RNG that has apparently decided to bend me over and rape with no lube for this match, so the screenshot taking has suffered in the process a bit.

The plan here was to take one herald down with Major Surgery, and then use the strength in numbers to smack down all the other fags and later go for the carrier.

BB0527.jpg

This, of course, failed because Surgery could only get a fucking push.

Dodged out Pvt Public to provide another assist to the batch...

BB0528.jpg

AND TWO BLOCKS LATER I GET TWO PUSHES

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA :rage:

turnover

BB0529.jpg

He starts by failing a blitz vs Major Key.

BB0530.jpg

But next block knocks him down alright.

BB0531.jpg

After which comes, that's right, another fucking stun on a fucking blitzer.

BB0532.jpg

And a push on the last one.

BB0534.jpg

Meanwhile, the BT gets ANOTHER stun on a lino

BB0535.jpg

And Major Surgery is the final blitzer to go down before this turn is done.

BB0536.jpg

Next turn I want to jump out the window after Corporal Cloth, who was stunned last turn after failing a dodge, fails another clean dodge and gets KO'd. Fortunately, I didn't forget to move other pieces first. But this is still more than fucking retarded.

BB0538.jpg

Another successful frenzy...

BB0539.jpg

General Specific prevails somehow.

BB0540.jpg

BB0541.jpg

The same can't be said for Major Minor and Private Capacity.

BB0543.jpg

And the ogre because trololo frenzy.

Turn ends as he puts the ball carrier inside a cage.

A cage that seriously requires breaching if we are to hope for anything good this match.

BB0544.jpg

Major Key stuns a bloodletter and gets in.

BB0545.jpg

Hueahueauheae dont you just love pushings

BB0547.jpg

General Specific also manages to breach the cage.

Let's see where that takes us.

BB0548.jpg

Lololo

BB0550.jpg

Rerolls it INTO A FUCKING STUN OF COURSE

borealesad.jpg

Our cage breaching is, in fact, for naught

BB0551.jpg

BB0552.jpg

As all the dudes around get wiped out.

BB0553.jpg

HOLY SHIT :what:

BRUVA APOTHECARY!!!

No servant of the Emprah shall fall under my watch!

I was actually thinking very long about saving Private Industry. On one hand, he's just a lino, and there are still 3 turns left where anything can happen. But on the other, levelling linos is a bitch, and he's got wrassle, which is a pretty damn good thing to have. So yeah, whatever, Pvt Industry will live to see another game.

BB0555.jpg

Meanwhile back to the action...

BB0556.jpg

... and the luckerfaggotry...

BB0557.jpg

Sigh.

BB0558.jpg

Turn ends as he attempts to doge out a bloodletter from our left blob of dudes and fails.

BB0559.jpg

This... this looks like a chance.

boreale.jpg
Todeh the enemy is at our door. We know our duty and we will do it...

BB0562.jpg

Ogre smashes out a cultist blocking our lino!

BB0564.jpg

boreale.jpg
We will descend upon the foe.

BB0565.jpg

boreale.jpg
We will overwhelm them!

BB0566.jpg

BB0567.jpg

borealemad.jpg
We will leave none alive!

BB0568.jpg

borealehappy.jpg

BB0569.jpg

borealehappy.jpg
:yeah:

BB0570.jpg

The ball was left behind by the daemon, but Private Property failed to pick it up. Np, though, he can still take it, and with a reroll to boot.

BB0571.jpg

:what:

borealemad.jpg
... NO!!!

ARE YOU TRYING TO FUCKING TELL ME THIS GUY JUST FAILED 3 CLEAN PICK UPS IN A ROW, WHILE THAT OTHER MOTHERFUCKER HAS ALREADY SUCCEEDED ON FIVE, SOME OF WHICH WERE IN TACKLE ZONES, WITHOUT A SINGLE COCKSUCKING REROLL YOU RETARDED FUCKING FUCKETY FUCKING FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK :rage:

BB0573.jpg

And to add insult to injury, meanwhile in daemonville.

BB0575.jpg

Ogre gets smashed. Fortunately it's just -1 AG, so fuck it.

BB0577.jpg

BB0578.jpg

BB0579.jpg

...there is still some hope...

BB0581.jpg

Major Minor moves in with guard assists. We shall attempt to clear both the cultists, then pick up with ag4 General Specific and throw aaaaaall the way left to Major Glory.

BB0583.jpg

Good...

BB0584.jpg

Here goes nothing.

BB0585.jpg

COME THE FUCK ON :x

BB0586.jpg

and obviously he gets the worst results possible.

With both down, Specific can't move through the left, with push he won't be able to then move out and pass properly.

BB0587.jpg

After actually spending 20 seconds thinking which is the best, I went with both down.

Specific will need 2 doges + pick up from 1 TZ. Not impossible with ag4 sure hands...

BB0588.jpg

But alas, fate decided otherwise.

AND OF COURSE NOW THAT RETARD PRIVATE PROPERTY PICKS UP THE FUCKING BALL, AMIRITE

BB0589.jpg

He doesn't hold it for very long, too.

BB0590.jpg

Whoa, a failed scatter pickup, impossiburu!

BB0591.jpg

BUT NP, ANOTHER HERALD JUST WALKS BY AND PICKS IT UP NO PROBLEM

BB0593.jpg

BB0594.jpg

And obviously Major Minor gets stunned, too. Again. Another. Mother. Fucking. Stun.

BB0595.jpg

Yeah, fuck you.

Turnover

Not pictured: The only hope of getting the ball now is a 1d block by one of the downed linos

The idea is to try and dogeblitz the carrier, then doge General Specific + pick up + pass. It's quite a damn stretch, but atm nothing else is possible.

BB0596.jpg

Sounded like a neat plan, didn't it?

Well, Private Property first needed a reroll on the fucking doge, then got both down on blitz and ko'd himself. How fucking splendid.

And the rest

BB0597.jpg

Is history.

With another clean pickup.

BB0600.jpg

All we have left is consolation bash.

BB0601.jpg

Thanks for nothing.

BB0602.jpg

Just BH.

BB0603.jpg

This BT is going down, fuck you.

BB0604.jpg

BB0606.jpg

And you know, just because I'm so fucking pissed, I'll skip the vanity throwing and just foul the fuck out of this bloodthirster.

BB0607.jpg

Only KO. Hue.

BB0608.jpg

BB0609.jpg

What a shit fucking game.

BB0610.jpg

BB0611.jpg

And this, I believe, illustrates almost everything that went wrong with this match.

Team with wrestle + 7 blocks + 2 dodges succeeds on 20 out of 40 blocks against a team with omni-frenzy and 3 blocks that succeeds on 45/73. Do you know what that is? Absurd. It's as if I played against amazons.

Then also come the 4 tackles. And the fact that out of my 7 attempts at picking up the ball, 2 succeeded (one at the start, one scatter at the end, 2 scatters in TZs failing, 3 clean pickups failing) vs his 7 attempts, out of which 1 failed (1 failed scatter, 4 successful pickups, 2 successful scatters in TZs).

Commander Boreale's final thoughts:

borealesad.jpg
...

boreale.jpg
As much as it pehns me, there was simply nothing to be done here. How can you hope to succeed when all your critical blocks fail, while the enemy runs rampant with skill-less knockdowns all the time, half of which end up in stuns, effectively leaving you with half your team for each turn? Of course, there was also the rather unacceptable derp in the first half, but after another analysis, even if a catcher was used to run down the pitch at the time, his odds of survival would have been rather low. Sometimes the game simply refuses to let you succeed, and this was one of these times. Until we meet again, on the field, battle bruvas.

Our next match is going to be halflings, which actually, ironically enough, makes the ogre's last injury somewhat fortunate. His st5 would be rather useless against the inevitable onslaught of st6 treemen and star mercs that will be sent against us, and depriving the coach of 160k's worth of inducements is pretty neat.

I welcome you again, battle bruvas. Much earlier than anticipehted, and in much different circumstances. For todeh, we will all be static observers of a gehm of one of our fellow men - Jehdar.

BB0615.jpg

Dum dum dum. Skaven vs Halflings, this should prove entertaining.

BB0616.jpg

BB0617.jpg

Using the massive inducement load, coach Ramas got 2 star players, Zara the Slayer and Deeproot Strongbranch, as well as a halfling master chef.

Zara's stabbing ability could prove pretty fatal against the puny rats' AV7, and st4 blodge should make her have quite the presence on the field. The treeman's whopping st7 might also break some faces.

BB0618.jpg

Jaedar wins the coin toss and chooses to receive, setting his dudes up in a wedge to provide quick running aggression.

BB0619.jpg

And there we go

BB0621.jpg

The ball lands right in the hands of a lino, even without taking into account the high kick.

BB0622.jpg

The rats' offensive begins by pushing one halfling, opening a dangerous rift.

BB0623.jpg

And after a clean hand-off, the gutter runner runs down the field, showing a middle finger to the opposition.

BB0624.jpg

Another runner dodges around to block sum more halfmen.

BB0625.jpg

But a linerat is not lucky enough, causing a turnover!

BB0626.jpg

It also seems something's distracted the camera operator's attention for a sec...

borealehappy.jpg

BB0627.jpg

The halflings attempt to launch one of their foul subhumans at the rat carrier.

BB0628.jpg

But halflings were never very good at landing.

boreale.jpg
So bold and so foolish.

BB0629.jpg

More closing in.

BB0630.jpg

Zara's a-coming too, but her lacklustre MA6 won't let her get too far.

BB0631.jpg

Halfling blitz!

BB0632.jpg

SLAM! A failed doge as the Storm's turn ends abruptly.

BB0633.jpg

The ratmen appear to be in a pretty good position.

BB0634.jpg

Two dudes block down Zara, while a stormvermin blitzes the fling covering the carrier, only getting a push, however.

BB0636.jpg

Ball carrier runs further into enemy territory, to a fairly safe zone on the left.

trailer_ws_bloody.jpg
There are no barriers for the warp spider!

BB0638.jpg

And the turn ends with an unimportant push.

BB0639.jpg

Star treeman can only stun a merc lino.

BB0640.jpg

Meanwhile, Zara tries to blitz out of trouble. And fails, with ag4 dodge :hmmm:

20090123110441-eldar1.jpg
The enemy cannot hide from my sight.

borealemad.jpg
Stop stealing muh spotlight, xenos!

Turnover!

BB0641.jpg

One halfling gets crowdsurfed. Another one is pushed in front of the stormvermin for similar treatment later.

BB0642.jpg

More running away.

BB0643.jpg

More KOs.

BB0644.jpg

And more...

BB0645.jpg

borealehappy.jpg
FUREH!

That's just a badly hurt, but stormvermin welcome all spp. Turnover!

BB0647.jpg

Halfling turn doesn't last much as another generic halfling fails a dodge and gets stunned :hmmm:

borealehappy.jpg
A sound tactical move.

BB0648.jpg

And everybody's gone surfin', surfin' USA.

BB0649.jpg

The lower right part of the halflings' pitch is getting tasteful as the turn ends.

BB0650.jpg

The treemen have some really bad rolls. Nothing but stuns on them linerats.

BB0651.jpg

Deeproot attempts a throw, but the dice disagree. Once again, the turn ends, as coach Ramas gazes hopelessly on the situation.

BB0655.jpg

Uh-oh...

flying_elbow.jpg

BB0656.jpg

Zara is out of this drive! And the fouling rat is not ejected by the ref!

BB0658.jpg

Meanwhile in Halflingville...

BB0659.jpg

All quiet.

BB0661.jpg

BB0663.jpg

3d block vs linerat, not even enough to take it down.

BB0664.jpg

But wait, here comes another throw!

BB0665.jpg

Nevermind.

BB0666.jpg

Jaedar parks a 5spp stormvermin at the touchdown, then hands off (with a reroll), for an easy score.

BB0667.jpg

BB0668.jpg

Not particularly impressive, but Zara the Slayer doesn't get up.

BB0671.jpg

Let's-a see.

BB0672.jpg

The teams are positioned, and here we go again.

BB0674.jpg

The ball lands next to a fling.

BB0675.jpg

Who picks it up with op ag3, and runs up to the los...

BB0676.jpg

Succeeding on 2 GFIs and a handoff with no reroll :what:

Looks like we're in for some hot throwing action!

BB0678.jpg

Indeed, Robin the halfling flies right past the dumbfounded rats

BB0679.jpg

and lands right within scoring reach, beyond any rat tackle zones because they were all set up in a completely silly manner that didn't account for teammate throwing!

borealehappy.jpg
So bold and so foolish!

BB0680.jpg

vrooooooooom!

BB0681.jpg

And two successful GFIs later...

BB0682.jpg

borealehappy.jpg
:golfclap:

BB0683.jpg

20090123110441-eldar1.jpg
:x

BB0684.jpg

Work dat rod, bitch.

BB0685.jpg

Uh-oh, Zara the Slayer gets up. The halflings might just yet pick up steam in this match!

BB0686.jpg

But there are still turns left in this exciting half.

BB0687.jpg

Once again the teams get positioned...

BB0688.jpg

BB0689.jpg

And the crowd goes wild as the halflings get a free blitz

borealehappy.jpg
:avatard:

BB0690.jpg

Ramas blitzes for a block with Zara against an av6 rat instead of stabbing it to death :hmmm:

BB0691.jpg

Only got a push, and dodged inside enemy territory to catch the ball.

BB0692.jpg

Halflings come in numbers to assist her.

BB0693.jpg

BB0694.jpg

Coach Jaedar was approached for a comment by one of our reporters

BB0695.jpg

But didn't want to say much about the situation.

BB0696.jpg

Blitz ends as Zara snatches the ball!

BB0697.jpg

Incoming stormvermin.

BB0698.jpg

Only a push! :avatard:

BB0701.jpg

Still, the rats have enough players in the vicinity to set up a massive defence against Zara's homerun. She'll have to succeed on a blitz, and then on quite a number of hard dodges, ending with 2 GFIs to touchdown.

BB0702.jpg

The pathetic treemen can really only stun those linerats.

BB0703.jpg

Second treeman takes root as he throws a halfling at the rat mob.

BB0704.jpg

But his aim is a weeeee bit off.

BB0705.jpg

Here comes the britz...!

skull/push

UH-OH!

BB0706.jpg

Halfling coach tries to reroll...

only to get trolled by loner.

Beats me why he'd pick attacker down instead of push + mad attempt at charging through anyway, but I guess that's frustration for you.

borealehappy.jpg
So bold and so foolish!

This is great sport!

BB0707.jpg

Zara's downfall marks the end of the drive, and the first half.

BB0709.jpg

Stay tuned for more rat and halfling goodies later on.
