You could also just adjust the opaquity of the log in the settings in-game. In the menu. Set it to max, and the log will be readable all the time. +M

It's still a bad pitch to play in due to how player names blend into the pitch color.
Anyways, tonight is the scheduled game for me.
Nothing special in mind except we're probably going for a bash game.
Draw is a good result. I'm after the SPP tonight really want to rebuild the lost veterans ASAP.

2014 - Return of the Virgin Commander Excelsior
Finally, the game we've been waiting for Knights vs Fursecution!
02.jpg

Lots of inducement in this match. 310TV to be exact.

01.jpg

Coach IainC decided that it's better to be safe than sorry, spending the money on a wizard for offense, a Bloodweiser Babe for KO recovery and a Wandering Apothecary, expecting heavy casualty.

03.jpg

Wonderful darkness arena. Bloodthirsty crowds all around, this is set to be an explosive match. Can the pacy rats survive the human onslaught? Or will they be taken to the sword and have the season ending finale here on this arena?

04.jpg

Fursecutors winning the toss, opting to receive. Knights aren't even setting up deep. That's right, I'm aiming that kick to the rookie thrower. Cause no matter where I kick, a rat would reach it. I rather have a guaranteed no block/dodge 3 AG thrower have it than an Accurate one.

05.jpg

Kick off!

06.jpg

Holy shit. Sections of the unruly crowd, in a bid to raise the temperature of the match decide to hurl a rock at one of the players!

07.jpg

Killing the Fursecutor's veteran thrower instantly!

:troll:

Coach IainC quickly called upon his Wandering Apothecary, cursing his luck.

08.jpg

Miraculously, the rat is brought back to life. :decline: But the rats will have to play with just 10.
Yut they started brightly, scoring the knock downs on the LOS.

09.jpg

And even stuns Azira, that family man from Denmark.

10.jpg

Turn ends as they setup some gutter runners deep. One successful pass, and they'll score next turn.
Can the Knights stop them?

Our turn!

01.jpg

Forcing Iain to burn a Wizard Scroll is crucial in the first half. But I doubt he'll burn it on this drive.
I have no idea why that lone rat is two tiles from the sideline. I mean, Whitewolf's Frenzy is legendary - but who am I to say no to an easy kill on a Kicker Rat?

02.jpg

Yeah, get him out of here. That's two rats down in first drive. 69 out of 76 SPP.
That's all the bash we can do, now time to play the boring marking game to force him to score.

03.jpg

Yes, I want him to score fast.

04.jpg

Some punches on the LOS, Rat Ogre is down, but unhurt.

05.jpg

Turn over as I have both Runners marked. Can't really commit that many - but I'm still OK if they score next turn.

Fursecutor's Offense
01.jpg

:smug: Don't you just hate Wild Animals?

02.jpg

Had to go at it alone, Stormvermin dodges out - failed. Burned a reroll.

03.jpg

Scores a knock down on muckguppy, freeing a runner.

04.jpg

eklektyk can't do much on his own and gets taken down as well.

05.jpg

That 5 AG Runner just leapt out of the 3-markers. That's alright.

06.jpg

07.jpg

Sets up two receivers as he ends the turn. Rat offense is hard to stop, but we must do whatever we can to pressure an early score. The earlier they score, they more time we have to equalize and start the 2nd half with the score tied.

Killer Intent
Our turn!

01.jpg

Anthony Davis can try to pressure the thrower to move, in a hindsight, I shouldn't have moved him into no-man's land.

02.jpg

But that's ok, it encourages the thrower to move up with the ball as we mark their receivers hard.

03.jpg

04.jpg

And every turn they delay the touchdown, is another chance for Whitewolf to vanquish more mutated rats.

05.jpg

06.jpg

Meh, rat unhurt.
Elsewhere, Jasede's boyfriend takes a swing and only gets a push.

07.jpg

Turn over.

So I hear you're Wild...
01.jpg

:troll:

No choice... IainC had to do a 1D blitz.

02.jpg

03.jpg

Gets a push he needed...

04.jpg

Here comes the ball....

06.jpg

LundB with a failed interception...

05.jpg

07.jpg

Runner gets it on a reroll!!! Only ONETeam RR left for Fursecution!!
Critical success on the dodge and......

08.jpg

Fursecution opens the scoring on turn 3!
That's too early. :smug:

The next drive let the Knights benefit from 12 players on the pitch which I didn't notice until checking the log on BBManager later. -IainC
I seriously didn't notice.

01.jpg

But yeah, we have 12 on this drive. Count them.

02.jpg

03.jpg

Oh boy. You're so fucked.

04.jpg

Kick's going to be a free pick up. Thanks to the badly hurt kicker. Jaedar recommended I give the ball to the Ogre for 3 SPP. But I really don't want to rely on Bonehead to score a TD, besides, Jaedar himself is 3 SPP short of hitting next level.

05.jpg

So the ball goes to him.
And Iain's propensity to let his runner get blitzed is amazing.
It's like he's ok with his 100TV worth of players be blitzed by a Mighty Blow every turn.

06.jpg

This time however, Whitewolf only scores a stun.
While Azira can't contribute anything meaningful to this match.

07.jpg

Jasede's boyfriend, still hunting for that 3 SPP only scores a stunning blow.

08.jpg

With the ball in safe hands (Blodge MA7) - I decided Xeno should just assist in the blocking game.

09.jpg

Guppy only gets a push as the turn is over.

Good Heavens!
Our caged ball did make IainC use his Wizard scroll though, so I think it's a good drive even if we failed to score.

01.jpg

Only eklektyk remain standing...

02.jpg

But not for long.

03.jpg

2D block - stunned. Not good.

04.jpg

Going down 2-0 is a bit harsh at this point - oh well.

05.jpg

Receiver ready, gets the ball on pick up...

06.jpg

Hands it backwards!?!

:retarded: And failed, forcing him to spend a final team Reroll to recover!

07.jpg

Runs back with the ball anyway as the turn ends with Knights losing possession of the ball!

:hmmm:

Desperate Measures
I messed up with the movement here, Xenomorph could've gotted a 2D Block without resorting on this GFI bullshit from stabby, but whatever.

01.jpg

Will it work?

02.jpg

Course not, just a push. We're in danger zone now.

03.jpg

Shit's starting to go south now... keep it together now...

04.jpg

OK, if we make this push, we can free up some men to mark the lone receiver deep in our zone...

05.jpg

Lucky! It's down!

06.jpg

Two markers make the GFI needed to mark the lone runner - no reroll needed.

07.jpg

Let's see what he does next.

Stab the Skies
01.jpg

So I hear you like Animals...

02.jpg

Anthony Davis gets faceplanted anyway from a 2D block.

03.jpg

Whitewolf goes down elsewhere, but unhurt.

04.jpg

Arkay gets pushed.

05.jpg

Oh boy here comes the ball.

06.jpg

:what: You're crazy. I know rats are Kings of Gamblers, but this is ridiculous odds.
Stabby, punish this furfaggotry.

07.jpg

Intercepted on the second try. Try it again, asshole I dare you!

Cheddar and I specced the whole game, and we laughed our asses off at the 2nd drive, starting with the ball going all the way back to his TD, and then ending with that excellent pass

OK, time to show off our ball plays. I'm tired of watching them passing the ball like they're elves...

01.jpg

Pushing this faggot clear...

02.jpg

Whitewolf rises...

03.jpg

Stuns.

04.jpg

Another push just for the hell of it.

05.jpg

Jaedar to ensure the left is protected.
OK, let's do this.

06.jpg

Stabby runs over to Xenomorph for handover-

07.jpg

Human nature strikes again.

08.jpg

Gets it right on the second try! Arkay, your move!

09.jpg

Doge successful. Time to show them Xeno's new arm!

10.jpg

Three seconds to spare - fire away!

11.jpg

Suck it-

12.jpg

13.jpg

down!

:yeah: WHAT AN EQUALIZER! KNIGHTS SHOWING THEM HOW IT'S DONE!

OK you can stop celebrating now, time to defend, don't want to let go of this tie to second half...

01.jpg

Same deal, we kick to the rookie thrower.

02.jpg

03.jpg

Bah.

04.jpg

There, he's got Accurate and Nerve of Steel. This is a problem.

05.jpg

And he runs back, rightfully so.

06.jpg

Two receivers in deep. Not as deep as I thought - he could've tried a GFI... but he's out of rerolls...
Ends the turn with a both down on Rat Ogre vs Ogre

07.jpg

Both ain't hurt.

Six Turns
Ogre popped a boner.

01.jpg

It's ok, let's kill a runner.

02.jpg

03.jpg

Bah didn't die.

04.jpg

Heavy marking on the right. I want a foul on the 5 AG runner.

05.jpg

Two on the left should suffice... (I think), guppy, plant a boot on that guy's face.

06.jpg

Just a stun. Disappointing! No whistle though! Turn ends.

Spoiler: It failed.

01.jpg

:troll:

02.jpg

Left runner dodges out. My fault, not marking him properly.

03.jpg

Hands over the ball to another rat - just a lino! Desperation play here from Fursecution!

04.jpg

Scatters the launch!
But it bounces still to the receiver! WHO SCORES!

05.jpg

:hmmm: I need to play better this drive.

That Two Turn Touchdown

Am I worried? No, not really. Even if I fail to equalize, a draw is not a bad result. One safe cage in second half...and I -
Shut up, Steve. Let's score.

01.jpg

Two turns. That's plenty of time.

02.jpg

Nice to have, but we didn't need any.

03.jpg

Fagsalom is free on the right, we put him into receiving position to draw some blitz on him.

04.jpg

Xeno will prepare for launch. Jaedar says I moved him too far back - he is literally unassailable 2-3 tiles forward - something to keep in mind for the future plays.

05.jpg

Everyone else went left. The ball is at the center...
We go for a Whitewolf special first - once again the Runner is sitting duck...

06.jpg

Only gets a stun. :(

07.jpg

Nothing else to do but roll the pick up dice...

08.jpg

RK - just what the fuck are you trying to prove here?

09.jpg

I'm flicking Nuffle's Pussy Trigger. Cannons loaded, LOS tries some bashes, but nothing going.

10.jpg

Turn over as we enter the finale of the first half!

01.jpg

Arkay, our prime receiver gets blitzed.

02.jpg

Not looking good, losing ground, every receivers are marked as their turn is over.

03.jpg

Not gonna lie, this turn, I played like shit.
Watch this derp.

04.jpg

I decided to try and take down a runner instead of dodging out and free up Jaedar with Whitewolf's Blitz...
Then I moved Whitewolf next to Jaedar for 2D block which resulted in...

05.jpg

GG... Reroll.

06.jpg

Only gets a push.
So I said... OK, I can still make that 2 GFI with no RR...

07.jpg

:hmmm:

08.jpg

Except...Xenomorph's throw cannot get that far...
Well, maybe he can with 2 GFIs... but that's too easy.
I decided I herped and just went with the derp.

09.jpg

Umm.. yeah, I went the wrong direction...fires the throw - triggering a Pass Block move by a nearby Gutter Runner who duly moved into intercepting position -

10.jpg

Jesus fuck, what have I done?

11.jpg

:what: Failed!

12.jpg

I dunno man... I just don't know... Fagsalom somehow...
13.jpg

Gets the ball. But this isn't exactly a mathematically good odds ...
I duno what the's the final tally on this shit. (Jaedar: 3 out of 22 to succeed all roll with no RR :M Starting from Xenomorph's launch)

A.jpg

B.jpg

C.jpg

D.jpg

But having no other plays, I decided to go for it anyway...

E.jpg

14.jpg

F.jpg

Ever heard of muckguppy?
Yeah that guy who dodges at stupid odds and pulls off a TD at the most unexpected odds.

15.jpg

16.jpg

:retarded: Fagsalom just did it...

17.jpg

18.jpg

He just muckguppied the game.
I'd rage if I were the Fursecution coach. 2-2 at Half Time.

Undeserved
Yeah totally. That's what I summed that turn 8 play.
I laughed at the absurdity but decided I won't derp so much in second half to make up for that excessive luck.

01.jpg

Somehow in this drive I didn't put in Anthony Davis. Notice he disappeared completely from the roster. Maybe Obsidian called him back to work on South Park RPG. God knows. Maybe he was KO'ed but I can't recall anyone KO'ed in the first half.
Whatever, kick off!

02.jpg

OK, some luck for the rats finally.

03.jpg

Not a bad kick for us. Arkay can use the throw practice for that 1 SPP...

04.jpg

But first, repeat the same move as last turn.
That touchdown must still be burned in his mind, so we're going to put Fagsalom on a lone run again.
While Whitewolf does what he does best, which isn't very nice...

05.jpg

06.jpg

Failed to break armor again :(
Damn man, these runners are just begging to be killed.

07.jpg

Azira contributing like a wonderbra: nothing but pushes.

08.jpg

Welp, all the pushes and blocks are over with, time for the routine passing practice.

09.jpg

OOopps. Reroll please.

10.jpg

Up you go and here comes the 1 SPP pass!

11.jpg

...Wow.

Cheese
Look at these rats, just rushing forward at the scent of the ball.
But really, if you got the balls, you should've done 2 GFIs to mark the catcher or something.

01.jpg

Going aggressive with Runner is the key to stealing balls I feel.
Instead...

02.jpg

Yeah, Fagsalom is totally our Ace in the hole. It's like everyone thinks he can defy odds again next turn.

03.jpg

Look at him, surviving a push, I bet they're gonna plant an assist just to get that 2D push on their next chance to crowdsurf a 3 SPP rookie lino. :smug:

04.jpg

LOS bash working to their favor. Azira eating dirt but unhurt.
Say, something's missing...

05.jpg

Yes, there it is.

:troll: Turn over.
