I made one minor slipup and know that rpg means role playing game

meanwhile retards like you dont understand that tactics and strategy mean the same thing in the dictionary

They don't. Strategy is much more long term and general. Having said that, you used the word tactics correctly. The other guy does not know the meaning of the words either.

Specific to battle-sized decisions...

“Planning and directing large military movements” indicates there is a difference in scale between the type of decisions one makes on a tactical and strategic level.

Keep in mind that this clear distinction applies to military forces, but in different context strategy and tactics can become one and the same thing, and the clear borders of definition may dissolve. This may also vary from language to language (i do not know a language where it is so, but the possibility exists).
Example: In chess you speak from game strategy not tactics despite a chess game is considered to be one battlefield and not several.
Just saying for autistic reasons.

This might be a difference in language, but my experience with Chess is that both apply.

Again, you need to think about this in the context of scale and timeframe. Whatever the situation, tactics is always more immediate and a smaller scale than strategy. It’s where the saying “lose the battle but win the war” comes from.

I do agree that in some situations the lines can blur, but let’s be clear here: Strategy is a lot more long-term planning than tactics is.

I know the meaning. In RPGs strategy is usually expressed through character building.
Example: In chess you speak from game strategy not tactics despite a chess game is considered to be one battlefield and not several.

In chess tactics are a combination of a few movements, like finding a checkmate in 3 movies or finding how you can take opponent piece in 2 moves. Strategy is more about an overall plan, like a plan to use the fact that you can play more actively than an opponent on the left side of the board to promote a pawn into a queen.

This is nearly correct. Nevertheless you missed my intention, because i was trying to point out ,that this definition that confines the tactics to a battlefield level and puts the strategy above the battlefield level does not always apply. I will attribute this to my unclear description.
Tactics in chess are quite specific series of moves (1-3) which are maneuvers that have direct immediate results like the Fork, Pin or Zwischenzug (which is the tactic). But if you speak about openings that are also quite specific series of moves (2-5), like the Vienna Game (1. e4 e5 2. Nc3), then you speak about Chess Openings strategies, because they have a long term goal like the control of center and do not have direct immediate results.
The discriminant function for strategy and tactic is in chees is differently drawn than the military one.

A thesaurus uses the dictionary definitions of words and lists words that have similar meanings, in this case they are called synonyms, meaning words that have the same or similar meaning, maybe you weren't smart enough to learn that in grade school

I understand what a thesaurus is. What
you don’t seem to understand is a.) a thesaurus does not list definitions, so you linking them is pointless and b.) online thesaurus’s suck and will group stuff sometimes that makes no sense.

I don’t get your point. If anything you’re agreeing with what Jedi master is saying.

In other words, a strategy has more long-term implications than a tactic. The fact that both can be discrete actions is irrelevant.

A strategic choice would be to bring along a sniper with you in a battle versus a heavy machine gunner. The choice to do that is a single discrete moment. How you plan to use the sniper in a general sense can also be considered a strategic decision, which will then tend to blur with tactical choices once the fighting starts.

The definition of battles is based on war history when battle meant 2 large military forces going against each other, so battle means the same thing as a large military conflict

For example, the battle of waterloo, battle of the bulge, battle of Saratoga, go back to school and get an english degree or just do some grade school workbooks

Jesus. You even can't use thesaurus properly. What kind of idiot are you? Thesaurus list worlds that can have similar meaning depending on circumstances. However you CANNOT randomly pick worlds from the thesaurus and replace them in the worlds in text, that would create a gibberish. Thesaurus also list common use of worlds, so it's going to lie to you that hypothesis and theory are synonyms, where in reality they are closer to being antonyms.

I didn't know the thesaurus and dictionary lied

Theory has multiple definitions, one of them means idea or thought, which is similar to hypothesis, which is a theory or thought

This is what happens when I replace every world in your sentence with a randomly selected worlds from the thesaurus:

"Foundation accept manifold diagnosis, particular based on them* process reason rather deliberation "

Synonyms for "them" doesn't make any sense in the thesaurus in any context. So I left them.
