What's utterly amazing is that the guys who made it are still around and have released some games for tablets. Some of which even share the setting with this thing.

Arcanum with the modesty mod seems pretty futuristic, with the whole muslim thing happening all over Europe :troll:

I think that Fall: Last days of Gaia and it's sort of "prequel" Soldiers of Anarchy were not mentioned yet. But those titles are more like Fallout Tactics than proper RPG

If anybody's interested in some other sci-fi roguelikes:

-ZapM (http://zapm.org/) and PRIME (http://pesky-reticulans.org/) are essentially sci-fi themed NetHack variants.
-The Slimy Lichmummy (http://www.happyponyland.net/roguelike.php) is a weird cyberpunk/fantasy themed roguelike with some weird features.
-Caves of Qud (http://www.freeholdgames.com/Games/) is more like ADOM, with a continuous world instead of a dungeon crawl. Has a Dune/Post-Apocalyptic vibe.
-AliensRL (http://alien.chaosforge.org/), which is kind of similar to DoomRL, although it's less fleshed out.
-LambdaRogue (https://code.google.com/p/lambdarogue/) seems to have a focus on narrative. Haven't had a lot of experience with this one.
-FlatlineRL (http://flend.net/traumarl/index.html) clearly takes inspiration from System Shock. Cool, but also kind of short.
