Interestingly, there's a new puzzle piece posted today and it looks suspiciously like Skara Brae...

Skara Brae didn't have an eastern part across the channel, though. Reminds me more of Montor West and Montor East. :obviously:

Ultima Fanatic? have she ever finished Ultima 1-8, Akalabeth or the U7 expansions?

Yes, she's for real actually, believe it or not. She's been a member of the Ultima fandom since the early 90s and I may have even chatted with her on the Internet before she became famous (though I don't remember doing so, it's been a while)

can it really be Sosaria? i remember Montor East-West was on each side of a river/swamp, not on island/mainland area.

now you wouldnt expect that in this day and age.

Felicia Day ‏@feliciaday
As an Ultima fanatic, I'm kind of jittery excited about what's happening here: http://www.LordBritishPresents.com WHAT IS IT FOR???!!?@RichardGarriott

In before Felicia Day NPC or VO.

:troll:

Why don't you tweet her a question and find out? Share the gossip with the 'dex when you get it.

I am kinda excited. Getting Ultima 7 Part 2: Serpent Isle to run on my dad's pc (with sound actually working!) was one of the defining moments of my budding geekdom. Gaming took nearly two decades since then to even come close to presenting the kind of living worlds that he did in the 90's. He may have fallen out of favor like all the old rockstar devs of my youth but goddamn, a man can dream.

So many memories from just looking at that U7 map. Amazing I actually remember most of the content. I loved wilderness exploration in the later Ultima games.

It would be interesting if he holds the rights to Sosaria. But LB posted "Are you prepared to battle for Honor in a dangerous and exciting new land" so it's probably a brand new world. Maybe he was able to legally jump through hoops and make another new world like how Sosaria turned into Britannia and still use some of the old locations and such in doing so.

Damn, I'm letting my hopes get up and it's probably going to end in disappointment.

Yes felicia is a very real ultima and planetscape torment fan, wonder why she didn't add her name to the iXile project.

My only hope for this one is it fails utterly, then LB looks at the success of the torment one and does that. But knowing the tards of the internet they will spent a huge amount of time saying "HOW DO YOU KNOW MULTIPLAYER GONNA MAKE IT BAD HUR HUR" and then it will get funded and turn out to be crap.

Who's LB?

Jaesun, cabbage is cheap, and good for you. Eat some fat food too (calories), so you don't die of starvation. That's how I get by. :D I still would want an Ultima game without all the multiplayer crap and stupid stuff he wants to add. Just a huge Ultima "living" and interesting world, and rpg elements with interesting encounters and good combat and exploration. He should also see that the fans that will fund his game, don't want that "new age" crap, and next gen kids don't give a shit about Ultima anyway. So he should just focus on old school Ultima experience IMO. But he seems crazy, so who knows...

I hope that was a reference to when she literally called the game "Planetscape: Torment" in one of her videos.
