Codex arguing so much fiercely on what to do in date rather than in what to do in party full of noble kingdom shaping move makers and chance to do some good connections:lol:
Never change codex.

Baltika9, I'm trying to decide whether your current opposition to making out with a hot redhead girl is based on boredom or genuine faggotry...

Based on trying to move away from the ideal of the Poontang Protagonist.
You voted DDC along with the rest of us, dude. Play the character we rolled and wait til next time to gay things up based on a bored whim.
This date was lame.
So instead of trying to press on and make it not lame, you want to accept the lameness and bitch out? K. You're bored, dude. I get it. But give the rest of us an update to fix things before taking your ball and going home.
A. Is there a place up in the heights called the lover's lookout, or passion's point, or perchance, the knoll of non-consent?
I actually am not in favor of raping anyone, but "knoll of non-consent" is a rather funny line. I see our character as too refined for that. We have to win the girl over, but kidnapping her to do that isn't beyond us.

Yeah, but DC was the Corrupt Businessman. DDC was a combo of that and the Hedonist Student, which I voted on as a compromise, with an emphasis on business over women for me. I don't want to make drama out of this, but DDC was a lot of things for a lot of people.
But Dex sucks for fucking up this choice. Then again, I called it. Erd is the guy who's great at giving relationship advice, but sucks at relationships.

Oh, yeah, I totally see that from your comment at the time:
Awww yissss. This is perfect. Bros, we can be a lazy ąsshole and grope our advisors at the same time!

Look, I don't want to be 'that guy' again, but can we please remember that we are dating not a waitress or a seamstress, but a niece of the most influental noble in the Kingdom, who is also intent on marrying her off to some slime - no doubt to solidify an alliance of some sort - and that we have managed to piss off both of them at the same time, meaning that their alliance is definitely against our interests? Not only that, but the girl is also the captain of a whole knight order and one of Methuss' most potent fighters. Getting in her good graces might help you - not in the least by warning your fledgeling bandit Empire of the government moves.

For someone who likes to talk about business you are really intent to dismiss certain opportunities because girls have cooties. :M

Edit:
I'm drunk, leave me alone.
Ah, ok then. Fair is fair. :salute:

True, there is much to be gained from having her in our harem - or as a hostage.

Hell, even as an acquaintance she has her uses. Think of it - our own insider in the Brescia household!

She is an important character, ok? Anyone from this list is worth keeping an eye on. We have started making enemies already, so making at least a few friends in the right places might be a sound move.

Well, think positively guys.
At laest we know that there is some sort of slime force. It could be good move to try recruit those guys as our infantry.
They should be good at holding the line, while our goblins flank our opponents.

Besides it wouldn't hurt to have good realitionship with knight captain, who is also nearest to our goblin base.
Something tells me that the duke and crown prince will mainly use Wisteria against us when we inevitable will be in collapse course in battle.

Also, the fact that an angel was regarded as near impossible to defeat fairy tale monster to her is confirmation that we made the right choice at character creation - and a confirmation that the creatures are definitely feared all over Methuss. I almost wonder if the whole thing about Methuss having one of their own isn't just a rumor.

edit:
also, this awesome map needs to be in the first or second post.

Could be.
After all weren't those barzam guys were trying to stir up war between galbadia and methuss rather than investigating angel rumour?

I wonder will crow prince and duke attempt to assasinate us, if we stay a little longer with Wisperia?
Something tells me that those guys use assasins.

Meh. It'd be a good opportunity to show off our skills to her again - and/or to abscond with her for her protection: "Assassins. It isn't safe, milady! Come with me."

Besides, Rin is here. Not that that is an instant win or anything, but I doubt whatever assassins they can muster on this short notice are going to be enough to take the two of us on. Plus Aria and Wist.

Quite probably, though I don't expect it to happen today, after a convincing display of our strength.

Athos would make his move first.

Anyway, we have two extra bodyguards, so I wouldn't be that worried. A hasty attempt would harm our would-be detractors more than it does us.

So we learned very little of value and didn't get anywhere, as expected. At least we didn't get the -5 from the retarded sexual compatibility question.

We might still be able to learn *something* in B, C won't get us anywhere decent.

Some stuff I forgot to comment about the new update:

“I have fought wild goblins and lizardmen on occasion, yes,” she replies. “At times you have straggling raiders straying in through the Sea of Sand to the south, or across the mountains from the west. There is also a slime infestation upstream of Amscray that we have never been able to eradicate. We regularly send our rookies to train there. Luckily… or perhaps unluckily, depending on how you look at it, I have never had the opportunity to cross swords with one of the more powerful races, like the beastmen or the demons.”

I like how they do use slimes as a way to teach rookies how to grind/kill off the weaker children (I'm quite sure that most novice knights are very young, they probably double it as a "rite of passage" of sorts). Moreover, Sea of Sand? Mudslimes Sand niggers People confirmed. And we can't forget the snake people lizardmen! These tend to be quite cool.

Anyway, I dunno about treave's other LPs, but perhaps a harem is not mean to happen. I mean, perhaps the reason why Angels are so rare is that in spite of their passion for battle, they are also very passionate and faithful to their mates regardless of their gender, age and race, not letting them go until death separates them. That surely would be Erdrick's worst nightmare (although even that won't stop the Codex from trying to get the "harem ending", right?).

In any case, I'll update my vote to B. It works in-character for Erd and it may lead to more interesting things. Worst comes to worst, Trider can subtly cast a Maximized Sleep spell on Wist's drink whenever she's not looking. I'll leave to each codexer's imagination about what would happen after that. :M
