Sorry, forgot that FO3, Oblivion, ME2 and ME1 apparently are such great games. Not to mention rpgs.
What was I thinking, saying something obvious. Especially in a presence of young-blood, who's still attached to his mum's tittles.
Not like I can blame him though, they're quite delicious!

Barring the fact that I said three of those games were bad but the two first were worse than the latter, are you somehow jealous of my mom's breats?

I can mail you a picture :pete:

Your ignore list.
Well this is bad news. ME2 was better all around than ME1 just because they removed most of the RPG crap in it, which was total shit to begin with. I do hope they don't bring an inventory back, nor all those useless skills from ME1. Dialog skills is the most I would accept, but hell, in my opinion, just leave the gameplay elements as they are and focus on making a good conclusion for the trilogy. Stupid innovashuntards.

I liked the mining game and the Mako sections from the first game.

Could you explain why?

Surely he's referring to the hacking minigame (which they also used for mining and, well, everything else).

I liked the Mako concept better than planet scanning myself, but the planets either needed to have something resembling life on them or else they needed to be made smaller. Rock-hopping was a fun waste of time but the planets were just too devoid of anything interesting.

The interface for planet exploration itself was shitty in both games. I'm basically clicking on icons which beget more icons. Why am I seeing loading screens? This far in the future my planetary map can't keep track of anything outside the system without actually traveling there?

I wish they'd combine Mass Effect's characters and drama with an open-space game like Elite. Think Starflight or Sundog with more RPG elements and crew-based storyline.

Another area in which I fear they'd do the same thing as they did with the Mako-- looooong stretches of dead space.

Console gamers couldn't handle a game with the complexity of Starflight.

I really really wish they would leave the game mechanics exactly as they are in ME2 and concentrate on story, characters and environments. Maybe add some actual C&C too, who knows? Instead of some inventory system which I fully expect to suck they should instead add more skills so that class "builds" aren't so samey any more.

Pretty much this.
I don't think ME is salveagable as an RPG, but it doesn't mean it won't be a better game with improved RPG elements. Maybe some more exploration, and less corridoor shooting?
Also, it would be nice if they didn't introduce any new plot holes in ME3, and I probably wouldn't mind some kind of inventory system more complicated than: gun -> better gun -> even better gun.
