All three games had shit that needs fixing. If they manage to find a middle ground for all games we can have something truly great. Take ME 1's leveling system and ME 3's take on powers, weapons and upgrading thereof. I'm not expecting any major revamping of the story, but the gameplay can use work. Oh, and just strip out all the Mako/mining/galaxy exploration shit. That was useless in all three games.

The voice quality varied quite a bit from game to game. Jennifer Hale was, by some margin, the better performer in ME1. Mark Meer was hired as a placeholder and it shows (hears?). In the time in-between entries, Meer started taking his actor vitamins and delivered the overall stronger performance in parts 2 and 3. Hale's problem in the sequels was that while she was still pretty good with paragon dialogue, she couldn't deliver any of the renegade lines convincingly. Meer, by contrast, was solid across the board.

Yeah, gotta agree that Meer was a better Paragon than Hale was a Renegade, but the other way around it's no contest.

What you will get is Mass Effect 1 with the original inventory system, Dragon Age 2's combat, and new story by the writers of Mass Effect 3's ending.
Curse you.

Hopefully the inclusion of cameo appearances of ME:Andromeda characters will lighten your mood.

Looks very likely that the Legendary Edition will be announced tomorrow.

If there's enough cut content put back again (i.e. more complete Citadel) I might actually buy it. Who needs GTA 2077 when you can drive a Mako with Commander Shepard?

Hope they fix the gameplay Mass Effect 1. That inventory system and combat make kinda hard to replay.. Hyped for the remaster.
