"non-binary"...
I wonder if gender choice will have any gameplay effects, like in fallout 1/2. Otherwise, not sure why they include this choice at all: just allow players to select whatever portrait and sprite model they want, and they can imagine they are whatever gender they want

I tried out the demo, didn't played much but I liked that you can control/move your character with WASD keys but the controls were janky, character doesn't move diagonally and the left/right movement direction is skewed.

If a developer won't include that shit he would be beleaguered by mentally ill twitter retards (who wouldn't buy the game anyway) crying mascara tears.
Solution = Don't use Twitter.

99% of the people on there are mentally insane.

I don't get why people are scared of Twitter.
Telling Twitter to fuck off generates hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of free advertising.

I haven't paid attention to the game so far, but now I'll have to try the demo. The gameplay in the video looks great.

So the Staglands devs took the good old "I can't actually make pixel art" pixel art style and added 3D.

I think I actually like it...? It sure fits the game setting.

Conversations aside, the art style's looking alright. The combat on the other hand, not so good.
Constant perpetual saving sounds like a potential filter, wonder if they'll eventually change it to optional.

I doubt it, they lean towards hardcore game mechanics. I remember in an interview about Serpent they were talking about how they don't like handholding for example.

Wasn't aware of that at all, I'm sure they don't. Good to know, thanks.
