Master Melee
Master Backstab
Master Prowling
Dagger of speed
Haste + Tempus fugit
Any similiar build is indeed insanely op the only problem you have to play in tb. I sometimes liked to play rt as a diablo-like game.

Thats how i played my first character, Half-Ogre melee / dodge master with Illuminate and Blur Sight. Back then, before Drog patch it was possible to cheese magical amplitude with Dark Helm so i had maxed resistances out the gate with arcane set items bought from Gypsy.

Aesthetics maybe. It just plays basic staff animation +lightning bolt. If it did to enemies what YK42 in F2 would be exciting.
after some testing I have an idea now. It might be affected by creature level. With 50 tech aptitude, when testing against zombies, for those under lvl 10 it makes little difference between cannon and tesla. However, over that it gets noticeable in favor of tesla.

I would go for Tesla gun, there is free looking glass rifle in Ashbury, all you need is some manuals from tarant library.

Personally i prefer Elephant gun, because energy weapons can hit alies with its projectile.

The Looking Glass rifle is perfect for sniping. Has the longest range out of all guns.
The Hand Cannon is also a great gun.

Instead of using that, since we're talking about op stuff here it's much better to go for droch's gun early on and then to just obliterate everything up to well, end game.

Droch is a very late game weapon.
Unless you find a way to push through to the Vendigroth Wastes, you will have to make due with other guns (which there are few quite useful ones).

tesla gun requires 4 batteries per shot, also 11 STR. It does however improve dps by 50% over rod.

energy weapons can hit alies with its projectile.
but they illuminate your target, thus removing darkness penalties!

Have you tried Shocking staff? Drains batteries very quickly but kills stuff like Stingy Pete in seeconds in real time mode. :D

Real time mode is insane.
Game was made to be played in turn based.
If you have enough bullets (and are comfortable having and making a lot of bullets), the Mechanized Gun is also pretty good.
During the Donn Throgg quest, captain Wheeler has a unique Levered Machine Gun. Quite powerful. You have to either pickpocket it from him, or simply just kill him for it.

Generally magick and melee are OP. And so are companions/summons. Tech is harder but more fun. Idk about stealth or ranged (bows), never tried it.

You can give companions light bulbs and miner helmets. Play a dwarf genius, recruit all dwarves and create dwarf digger army.
I'm telling you doctorate in electricity means superiority. :discohitler:

You don't need tulla for that at all (on the dark branch you won't even visit it). Just go by the coordinates and manually run into the entrance (few mins tops).

Did some tests. With latest version, I was manually able to find entrance only with 20 PER

So 20 PER does something, good to know. Xd
yup, spent few in game days roaming around ruins with 18 PER -> nothing. Boosted to 20PER, ruins were spotted immediately.
Really?
Are you sure you didn't just click on the right spot on the map and discovered the ruins as a result?
I remember Per 20 only allowed you to see through invisibility.
