I've read up a bit on Denuvo and it seems unfortunate in that you need a connection to their servers. And that can go down for some time, or go away completely. I'm not sure Taleworlds would actually put this in their game, it doesn't seem to fit their MO from the past. We'll see.

I had planned to D1P/preorder this game as soon as it's available. If they use Denuvo then there is no way I will be buying it.

I thought that they wanted to encourage an active mod community. Denuvo limits modding a lot, so I think they won't implement it.

And of course, all this it's before the RE7 fail.

My system is like 4-5 years old, i will need at least a new GPU, but first will see how the game runs.

Should be fine if it's OC'd Sandy Bridge for example, but yeah a new GPU is likely in order.
