Okay so I have an issue with my graphics. I don't remember having this issue before. No matter what I choose in the settings, the game looks like absolutely pixelated and blurry crap. It must have downloaded everything necessary by now, so I don't understand what could be causing it. I've gone through the display/graphics/advanced settings several times and no fiddling with them seems to help.

EDIT: Nevermind, figured it out. I had "on-demand patching" toggled on. The game would not download better quality textures until I switched to them but that's 6gbs worth of stuff, so nothing was happening in-game. I turned "on-demand" off in launcher settings and it immediately started to download the rest. Woop woop.

EDIT2: Fuck that shit - I dunno what I downloaded but game still looks like ass. Well, there is one change now - if I turn all options to high/max, my FPS drops down to 1-2, but game still looks like shit. Verified installation, didn't help. It's not Windows/nVidia settings, checked those.

that 2x refinement event ...

i had sme stashed boxes from leadership rotation so decided to open some :

over 8000 blue boxes
over 2000 green ones
and well over 1000 other boxes/chests/barrels from leadership tasks

then it was time to dump all that shit in various holes and nooks .... man what a PITA it was

and then fun part of spending some 4 milion potatos on stones marks and wards to be able to continue dumping shitty enchants inthere ....

Just try it for yourself to get a real opinion. As you said: it's free to play. And fun too, but not the WoW hardcore grinding addiction fun. I would call it a.... "casual" mmorpg. There, I said the evil word.

EDIT: That looks quite heavy for the rouge rouge, at first i thought that was the gf set. Looks pretty good, though i have no idea how high level tr sets look like in comparison.

Tactician (Martial Mastery) + Knight's Valor + Supremacy of Steel (+ optional Steel Defense) = infinite action points
I get full AP before SoS even runs out.

Lack of Threatening Rush is a pain in the ass against dragons though, all of their frontal attacks push you beyond reach.

As expected the Salvage enchant is pretty much another Tymora type trash spawner. I wanted to make sure so got one and upgraded to rank 6.

First piece of trash was a blue salvage bag drop- opened to give a few class kits, next 2 drops were purple bags and those gave a green unidentified shit item and some other worthless thing I can't remember.
Righto , so yes this was only after the first 3 drops but was enough to display to me what it had to offer.


Ek, I do Hearthstone a little myself, if interested we can exchange info and dock rage at each other in another game.

Ranged classes are definitly better off during those mass slugfests. My GWF has so massive slowdowns when the wizards start spamming balls and ice, that I can hardly follow the dragon at times and only hit thin air. The hunter on the other hand keeps his distance, spams split the sky, thorn weed and rain of arrows, while running away from the dragon. A melee class getting aggro is rare, thanks to the laggy combat. But it's not as bad as the beholder fights in IWD, so I can live with it.

i like the most that first thing i saw launching nw today was announcement of a SECOND scheduled emergency maintenance [thats third in a 24 hrs if u wonderin]

quality patch indeed ....

The first maintenance got rid of my connection problems at least, but introduced a bug were my GWF and others cannot continue the campaign. Fix needed.
