Don't worry, you can pause the game at any time if the action gets too intense.Looks awfully actiony.

No, the real question is: What Obsidian are we talking about? The Obsidian that delivered F:NV and MotB, or the Obsidian that delivered PoE filled with political correctness to the brim, and doesn't have CA, etc? Things have changed a lot in the last years. Saying that Obsidian did something good six or nine years ago with a completly different team is not reassuring.
I get this odd feeling that it will be dripping with social justice diatribe.
Steamspy shows ~100k owners for Hatred on Steam - not bad for a boring B- potato twin stick shooter. More importantly, it proves that you can tell SJW to go fuck themselves, make a game that has nothing except shock value and still sell it on Steam, i.e. reach your target audience however small or large it may be.I get this odd feeling that it will be dripping with social justice diatribe.
I thought the gimmick for this game was "Evil" and not "Lawful Good".This game where you play as an SS officer

It probably is RTwP so no turns and no good on it.Hope it's turn out good.
Me too, but that's Bioware's next game.when they capitalize the title, all I see is TRANNY
I dunno about the whole thing of the world where evil won, sure it is a better premise than elves saving the world again but I'm afraid it still follows alot of fantasy tropes for crpgs. If you are on a world where some dark lord rule the land and contesting him means death, what you do isn't evil when you are being forced to do it. Is a guy that is forced to kill someone , evil? Evil implies choice and if choosing to be good means you are going to get seriously fucked, you chosen the evil path out of necessity not morality.
The most interesting forms of evil for me comes from decisions that compromise your values and people you thought were good that you like pressing you to make amoral choices but if you have no values and nothing to sacrifice as you are just an asshole that works for the dark lord, some shitty bureaucrat this is a pretty shallow take on evil. There is nothing wrong on doing a shallow take on evil but it isn't something I'm really hyped by, let's see how Obsidian's new writers deal with this but I'm not hyped for this especially after the very shallow way they treated the story themes on PoE.
Not really, prob. more like Beamdog'sMe too, but that's Bioware's next game.when they capitalize the title, all I see is TRANNY

Can ya quote some examples of past Obsidian SJWry. I keep forgetting what they've done aside from removing one backer story.
Dayum Trashos that timing, we were thinking the same thing.
This thread has serious potential to be the edgiest thread on the Codex in a long time. Basically 9 pages of
I HATE THIS GAME BEFORE I KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT!
NO, I HATE IT MORE KNOWING EVEN LESS!
Too many people confuse having high standards with behaving like an edgy teenager.

It is the PoE effect man, now if Obsidian announced this game right after their high point, MotB, the reaction would be another completely different story. This thread has serious potential to be the edgiest thread on the Codex in a long time. Basically 9 pages of
