Why would you assume there are 20 artists on the team.

They have a team of 30 (they have already said this in a update post) and at least 15 are in the art team.
But I would say 20 are on this (the Art is a IE style game as you really just walk on a painting).
Nothing wrong with that as I love this art style!

Big fan of the art btw and I backed them.
However the RTS IE combat I don't really like much.
Scaling armour talk

:fight:

But I dig the art so they get my support.

I can't find the artcile that said 30 (I think it was a youtube interview that they gave the team size).

Euro gamer Article

Team size on Project Eternity depends on final budget and feature set. "I'm the most comfortable with teams between 20 and 30 people, so that everyone knows what everyone else is working on," Cain responded, "but if we need to pull in more people to make this game as big and as high-quality as we want, I am sure we will do that."

You spam them faster, you mean.

In a thread on this forum yes.

Did they steal your lunchmoney in highschool or why you are so butthurt about Project Eternity?

Ok Apexeon show us where they stuck the pineapple.
Good lord :?!!

No I like the IE teams (love the art style) and they are the last hope for something like a real fantasy RPG.
They are coming in on the top end with a good product and I will push from the indie angle.
We need all the big guns to fire up above (all the big names WL2, PE, SR etc...) or people will burn us down/lose faith in crowd funding.
I am a backer of the PE project as well.

The last RPG game I played was Ice wind dale 2.
I don't play FPS rpgs or the action trash.

Grab the Codex by the pussy
As far as I can ascertain, TotalBiscuit rose to prominence because he doesn't have a nasally American nerd voice (or unintelligible Scottish brogue, et cetera), doesn't ramble on nonsensically for minutes at a time while narrating his videos, knows how to record and upload his material properly, and demos the gameplay of a wide variety of new titles. Also, apparently he got his initial fan base by commentating on World of Warcraft.

He's an annoying cunt in my book, made more so by the knowledge that pretty much anyone with a triple-digit IQ and a couple dozen hours of voice lessons (if required) could do what he does, and likely be better at it.

Why is the sun retarded? Why is the sun a special-needs person?
What's with the weird guy with no arms or legs and angry eyebrows that's standing in front of the house? Why is his head transparent? Why is his left eye stuck to his spine instead of being under his left eyebrow?
Why does the monster only have 3 arms? What kind of monster is it? Why does its scrotum hang off the head of its penis?
Why is the guy in the hat with the tiny penis and no pelvis holding a penis-on-a-string and a giant vagina?

This picture is very confusing...

In terms of team numbers, I believe the numbers are, per department:

Animation: 3
Art: 10 (Menze?, Nesler?, Hector)
Audio: 1 (Justin Bell?)
Design: 8 (Cain, Sawyer, MCA, Ziets)
Production: 1 (Brennecke? or Urquhart?)
Programming: 4 (Weatherly, Brennecke?)
QA: 1
Total: 28

It is very likely that different people will be working on different parts of the project. That is to say everyone will be doing QA, maybe a little design/programming. I believe that the leads are what are making up each team distribution.

And checking my numbers with Excel. The graph fits my estimated numbers. The team was also slated to be 20-30. So that means that the total should also be within that range. My total is.

Right but Brennecke isn't going to pay himself twice. They're also not going to have only 1 guy doing QA. This excel spreadsheet I think is just how they're splitting up the team members in terms of who's getting paid.

Is it a problem if Brennecke is Lead Programmer? I don't know his work very well.
