If you're not familiar with Josh or with Obsidian, you're probably familiar with Obsidian's "Baldur's Gate" or "Star Wars: Knight's of the Old Republic".
So, apparently I missed this.
Sorry

I mean seriously, how hard can it be to google their previous games before interviewing them? Now i understand why shit games are awarded Best Game of the Ages, or true Art, as long as they don't include text, or even if the writing is absolute shit. No one even reads it. Reading is teh hard...

who is sawyer talking about when he refers to the "pirate-y type character?"
wutOh hey, cool-downs back in. In fact, they were never out to begin with.
Even if there are cool downs.... in reality they aren't any different than attacks per round
or the a regenerating stamina system
It's the same way that the 'Slayer' ability and the innate abilities in BG were all cooldowns you know. You just had to push the cool-down button and everything came back! For gods sake, denizsi, special ability and spell effect durations are cooldowns now?
rope kid said:We will probably have three casting/ability use durations: immediate, short, and long. Those will be set to specific intervals and will be consistent between characters. E.g. a fighter's "short" ability use is the same as a wizard's "short" casting time, etc.
It goes well (so far). Right now I’m spending the majority of my time on Torment, but I’ve also been involved with some pen-and-paper stuff (e.g., Numenera Editorial Board, Kickstarter campaign for Accursed), and there are some other things that may be coming along as well. Can’t talk about them yet though.
I hope there is a full time job at Obsidianrope kid said:We will probably have three casting/ability use durations: immediate, short, and long. And still no P:E in sight for George
