Well, shouldn't we start with those? By the way, what level is your Kling peep? Apparently, RCS console is a replay quest reward for Klings only, at least according to this page: http://www.stowiki.org/Episode_replay

I did send you a friend invite though L'ennui, to see if it was you.

Again bros, when you start playing, send friend invites to Valkar@vaarna_aarne or Overman@vaarna_aarne or any of my Champions/STO character handles + username, then I can handily invite you to the Fleet and send you a chat invite.

And to clarify this again: To accept a chat channel invite, press Esc and go to Chat Settings, where you go to the Channels tab.

There is a craftable torpedo call the Tricobalt Mark XI Damx2 or something...it is the last one on the torpedo list. It does over 8000 in kinetic damage and causes some sort of 1km radius explosion. Are there more powerful torpedoes and if so what are they. Has anyone tried this thing out? what if you loaded 4 on the front and did a high yield III? I think I might farm dilitium for a couple of weeks and see if I can't load up on some good weapons or consoles. There might be better stuff as drops or from STFs, I don't really know.

Anyone know where to find the best of any item type in a spreadsheet or something?

Torpedo skills don't work with them, projectile is destructible and slow as fuck, and reload time is also slow as fuck. It has its uses but I wouldn't use it as a primary, ever.

AFAIK the best items are rewards for Omega Force STFs.

Tricobalt are heavy torpedoes, they are not favored because despite their huge damage potential being heavy means they can be targeted and so destroyed before they can reach their target.

And STF drops are shit, very shit and there is the whole "since you are grouped, you roll for it" (besides the Loot Bag that is yours) ... I get more loot from Kerrat runs that from STFs (and they are far less annoying as well).

What I mean by STF rewards are tradeable items/tokens/marks whatever they're called ingame, that allow you to purchase items from dealers, NOT random drops.

You are only assured one reward that is Encrypted Data Chips (EDC), you always get 1 on normal STFs and 2 on Elite STFs (except on wednesday that doubles it on a specific STF, ground and space) as the Tech (Common/Rare/Prototype Borg Engines/Shield/Deflector/Armor/Weapon/PSG) are drops, also Rare and Prototype Borg Salvage is drops.

Worst, Mk XII gear that is the top of the line cannot be brought by EDC so getting a set depends entirely on luck and a MK XI depends on how long can you grind it before you became sick and tired of it.

What you said might been true Pre-Season 5 (F2P) but now its what I posted, you either get lucky (you can get it on your loot bag but then again, it might drop and you have to roll with the other players to get it) or you grind the crap out of it (Mk XI set is 40 chips each part and I know because I brought my Mk XI MACO gun and PSG that way).

Yes, well, like we discuss!ed yesterday, I'm hoping some of these issues will be addressed in a patch. Meanwhile, it's possible to obtain perfectly adequate equipment without excessive grinding.

Well I say this, the STF Space Sets are shitty as they are they nerf then beyond belief (there was a trick with the MACO Heavy Graviton beam but its now nerfed) but the ground sets are useful, I have the MACO Mk XI ground and one of the set abilities is refill my personal shield that even with the long cooldown its still very useful and it also comes with a frequency Remodulator that is beyond useful when fighting the Borg in the ground.

Considering all Ground sets are the STF set (at least until the Jem'Hadar is completed. we only have the Armor and weapons so far) if you want to do ground, you have not much of a choice if you want to have a set, also they offer a special costume when the accolate is completed on the tailor (I now look like the STF ground seller with the MACO Mk. XI ground).

Alright, accepting your friend request and sending you a chat invite. You can accept the chat channel invite by opening Chat Settings and going to its Chat Channels tab.

So, any capped-out Klingon faction members willing to grind some RCS consoles that are reward for the "Blood of The Empire" quest? There is apparently no equivalent in Federation mission rewards, and I'd be happy to obtain whatever item you may need from that side in return.

Hmmmm, that's a good idea. Alright, someone should compile a list of "oh exploitable" mission rewards that can benefit the Codex players as a whole.

And after such a demonstration of hyper-sexuality with the smash-hit single "Not Without My Bat'leth", we are the official boyband of the Empire!

That shit's pretty rad.

Hmmmm, that's a good idea. Alright, someone should compile a list of "oh exploitable" mission rewards that can benefit the Codex players as a whole.

A'ight, I'm gonna give it a go. Note that I'll be skipping most of green quality stuff because, as far as generally available equipment is concerned, most rewards can be obtained through the Exchange for very reasonable prices. Also, I'll be omitting bind on pickup gear.

I won't be listing green quality general purpose consoles or other ship devices either. Again, those are easily obtainable via exchange.
