I think Vaarna is spinning in his small, windowless padded room at the mere notion of people enjoying themselves on Drozana Station, lol.

As am I of course :)
Only one way out..

Btw, someone has Queued a special project, Host Multicultural Symposium. I would like to point out that we gain absolutely no benefit from such projects, as they provide 5 (yes, five) XP in each category but cost a bunch. Those are projects for giant fleets that need to keep FC flowing for their members.

Did not wanted a repeat of earlier when I was stuck with reading mail for most part.

oh god this game.. Is just sitting whole day at drozana station with sluts all around me, flirting and talking all day long, and doing duty officer missions. So far i am loving it, but i have to wonder should have this game been called SOCIAL INTERACTIONS: THE GAME
You have social interactions in this game? I'm finding it to be the LEAST social MMO I have ever been on. I play more than anyone else here at this point. Outside of people I know from outside the game (you people), I have only actually encountered ONE person that I ever say anything to. Everyone else in the world is basically just lag-causing scenery to me. I have more social interaction with my cat. I'm totally okay with this, though. Those pictures above demonstrate that social interaction in this game is totally frightening.

Man the LGBT guild I was in was awesome, lore friendly wise, especially when the faggot Startfleet people encountered our glorious Klingon Empire guild. Man I miss that. Unfortunately of course, the codex group is basically faggots and Starfleet homos. ;)

Word on the street is that Elite Fleet Ground Weapons are going to be a disappointment. Apparently the selection in types is severely limited and the mods are underwhelmng. The devs apparently suck at copypasta and have no idea what people actually want.

Elite Ground Weapons are supposed to have their own models, apparently they went with KDF get disruptors and Strafleet gets phasers but somehow they got both disruptors and phasers.

I can understand why its silly for Starfleet and KDF suddenly offering their enemy latest weapon models, not that it helps the fact their forums are tsundare and even yandare about the game and so even when its LOL Ground and everyone knows the only fucking thing that matters is MACO/Omega/Honor Guard sets since the only ground enemy that matters are the Borg and that 3 seconds remodulation goes a long way to insure you are either using those or you fail.

The Starbase upgrade is up for contributions now. Last I checked (meaning within the hour) we had 3000 Marks in, some 100k Dil in, and all green doffs in.

Also, we now have Elite weapons, and Starfleet ONLY gets phasers. The Stun Beam Pistol looks really damn good, but sadly the Wide Beam Pistol currently has bugged animations (secondary fires upwards and the pistol is held in a really weird angle).

Dilithium's done. Unless you meant some other upgrade. Now it's basically down to commodities and marks. Deposit 4.8M in the fleet bank and I'll do the procurement. Otherwise, you can pay 20% more and do a LOT more clicking. Up to you.

So predictably, the fleet weapons are overrated, and everyone keeps using MACO. Plus, Phaser Ground Proc is worst proc. Low chance of weak stun effect. If you wanted stun, you'd be using a stun pistol, not praying for the offchance of a stun.

So everyone who isn't using MACO uses antiproton. At least they could have sold us some swords. Or a bayonet.

Well, we've got 2k Marks to go and non trivial Energy Cells. Lookin' good. Anyway, after this we'll be doing Tailor (so we can point out and say we went through all this trouble for these) and Personnel Officer (doff conversion will never have been easier!). Here's what we'll need for the tailor, so get saving up once the current stuff is done:

Can we do the personnel officer first? I want to finally have a reason to GO there. I've been to our base TWICE, once to see what was there, and the second time when I forgot that I didn't actually have a reason to go there, ever, and was painfully reminded of this when I went there, and then ended up leaving again, disgusted and empty-handed.

Although knowing the way this has turned out so far, the personnel officer will result in my THIRD departure from the base, still disgusted and empty-handed.

What exactly are you expecting the Personnel Officer to do? All it does it provide a Personnel Officer like the one at the Academy in the Starbase itself. The important part to it is that it's a logistical improvement, since it allows for access to doff conversion and doff commissions in the same location, so a trip to the Academy isn't needed.

Anyway, here are what the Personnel Officer would want:

  • 2,700
  • 180,000
  • 16px-Faction_Federation.png
5 Human Tactical Bridge Officer Candidates
  • 16px-Faction_Federation.png
5 Human Engineering Bridge Officer Candidates
  • 16px-Faction_Federation.png
5 Human Science Bridge Officer Candidates
  • 16px-Faction_Klingon.png
7 Klingon Tactical Bridge Officer Candidates
  • 16px-Faction_Klingon.png
7 Klingon Engineering Bridge Officer Candidates
  • 16px-Faction_Klingon.png
7 Klingon Science Bridge Officer Candidates
  • 180,000

Well Tailor does seem to be useless, its just unlocking the Tailor as from what I was able to understand on some player rant on the forums. its just the Tailor service ... no specific unique Uniform and you still have to pay EC for changes.

All it does it provide a Personnel Officer like the one at the Academy in the Starbase itself. The important part to it is that it's a logistical improvement, since it allows for access to doff conversion and doff commissions in the same location, so a trip to the Academy isn't needed.

Yes but its something better that Tailor services and by look of things its easier to get, the BO Candidates are not going to cost PURPLE DOFFS! even if they annoyed us with Human/Klingon requirements it still beats 15 DOFFs that go for millions on the Exchange, the only thing that is more expensive on the project is Dilithium cost that is 20,000 higher.

Logistical improvement beats NO improvement. The Tailor isn't gonna do jack for us, since who exactly would go all the way there just to change their uniform?

Also, I think it's hilarious that of all the things the upgrade COULD be stalled on, we're stalled because of...Industrial Energy Cells. Everything ELSE, that you'd think we'd stall on, like Doffs or Fleet Marks or Dilithium, is in...but we're stuck because of Industrial Energy Cells. Even though I have repeatedly asked that people deposit some money and I will do the procurement. But no one wants to deposit some money, and would rather run and do all that clicking themselves, and pay extra for it. The heck's up with that?

Because you should be able to make and transfer your own damn credits too, and last time I did deposit the money went to mysterious pockets.

Dont look at me, I put my leftovers and if I am going to spend EC on upgrade stuff then I will remind you about something called "Fleet Credits".

And I did grind during bonus hours for Fleet Marks.

IF it's the credits you want, I can just dump the commodities in the bank and you can turn them in.

Because you should be able to make and transfer your own damn credits too
Credits is apparently YOUR thing. I can't get any meaningfully useful quantities of the stuff anywhere. I do dilithium. I tried selling all my Borg salvage through conversion to Mk X vendortrash, but that netted a measly pittance. Truly, that stuff is crap.

and last time I did deposit the money went to mysterious pockets.
Actually, they went towards all the commodity requirements of the bases. There's also some stockpile, waiting for those commodities to be demanded again, and some of that went towards this upgrade.

You will note this time I gave an exact account of how much to the penny would be required.

I told you already:

1) Contribute Dilithium
2) Use Fleet Credits to buy doffs
3) Go to the Academy to convert doffs to Purple quality, sell them on the Exchange
4) ???
5) Profit

Or alternatively:

1) Sell Dilithium for Zen
2) Buy Master Keys
3) Sell Master Keys on the Exchange
4) ???
5) Profit
