Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture
I usually focus my MC on Persuasion so much, that my skill at this point with Greater Heroism, Bard Song and Touch of Good (0.5 Cleric level to all skills) is easily 45-48. Never failed it after first time.
But I do try to fit Deceitful and SF Persuasion/Trickery into all my builds to farm XP with no-sharing option.
As far as I rememberer there is barely any other DC 50 checks. Lots of DC 42-45 though.

My main character is a Persuasion/Intimidate character. I got Intimidating Prowess which adds STR bonus to Intimidate rolls and his strength is like 26. There's really not an Intimidate or Persuasion check in the game thus far that I couldn't pass.

trap XP isn't big enough to warrant wasting a feat on trickery, the only skill related feat that's worth it is Persuasive (+4 persuation and +4 perception)

I take trickery feats when build is not Dex focused and needs extra points to do everything from first try. Comfortable exploring without failing checks every step means much more to me then marginal combat gains like 1 AB or 1-2 Damage.

I always take at least 1 Persuasion feat since all this checks allows me to hit lvl 20 in Pitax tavern. SF is usually enough but I like Deceitful too for bonus to 2 most important skills.
What I avoid to focus on MC is Perception. My Wisdom usually in negatives and getting it to the decent level with feats is too taxing. And DC for locations, even invisible, seems to be easily in 30-40 range already in Chapter 2 in Dire Narlmarches.

Good luck with the 1-try approach vs DC 50 checks. Of course you can treat them as a sort of Jackpot/Lotto reward, something you don't expect but are happy when you succeed once in a blue moon. I prefer to bemore.. resourceful.
I don't remember any DC 50 checks, at least not on challenging difficulty. And my Octavia had 44 Trickery before other buffs like Luck or morale. As for non Trickery checks, well I just rolled with the blows, you don't need to succeed all checks, there is always another playthrough.

I remember 50 DC check in the HATEOT (also perception) but I was on hard

By savescumming you are not using your limited daily resources as expected and you are not using your limited amount of feats as expected.
As a result by savescumming you are making the rest of the game easier now as you can focus into combat more and then later complain how combat is too easy.
Octavia gets unlimited attempts to open chests and unlock doors.
I don't feel the slightest guilt savescumming chests and doors when I'm not using her. :P

I hope that this DLC is also coming with a nice patch for the game. My Linzi still does not start playing her song after combat starts and she reaches lvl 7 (when song activation becomes a move action).

What complements the enchantment school the most in this game? Evocation, transmutation, conjuration or necromancy?
I vote Transmutation.
If you are using Enchantment to CC your enemies, Transmutation adds wonderful spells like Slow and Tar Pit.
If you are using Enchantment to Buff your allies, Transmutation adds wonderful spells like Haste and Legendary Proportions.

Conjuration is just good on its own. It doesn't even care about anybody else. :D

If you fail to lockpick chest you either use other character or wait till you level up ( it gives you what now? 2 tries per char per char level). Too much hassle - reload.
That is wrong way of thinking. Pathfinder like DnD is designed around one try approach, savescumming should be used as little as possible. Instead you should be building characters so they don't fail, it is how it is designed.

Same like people min maxing companions with mods and then complaining how the game is too easy. Not having a perfect min maxed team of murderers is how D&D and Pathfinder have always been balanced.
No Pathfinder DM would allow you only one attempt per level at picking a lock.

Well everyone becomes OP eventually. But what was her luck at level 4? You can only put one point in to Trickery each level. And you don't get boost items until later. I don't like the idea of RNG on traps and locks. I think if you have someone with trickery it should just open 100%. For this game I'm just aiming for about 50/50 so I don't become op. But there is no way of knowing how hard or easy it will be later on.

That early on no locked chests are required to be opened.

They don't seem to give much exp either, and the traps. In some other game (I think NWN or something) you could get a whole level or more over the course of the game from disarming traps.

Love how much tougher this game gets when you travel south below the river. I was kicking everythings ass at level 6 because it all seemed to be designed for level 3 ish. Now I am fighting stuff that surrounds my party from invis and can 1 shot my casters. Makes it more interesting.

A lot of fights seem to let you fill a gap with your tank(s) and the enemies all stuck... So a group of 5 wolves, 2 end up fighting your front line and the other 3 just stand at the back doing nothing. In a narrow valley this seems just like good tactics. But out in a field it seems like bad pathing because the wolves could come around the back but they don't. It makes me wonder if most fights are meant to be about 70% harder than they really are...

Last time I checked Dazzling Display does not paralyze or mind control enemies. Also it complements mind affecting spells so you can utilize both.

But you can most certainly improve it too. Take thug, and send them running from you, tails between legs. I have done this so many times to comical effects, where even bosses decided to run away from my Pala 2/ Thug 4/ Scaled Fist 1 / Magus X.

Last time I checked, fear effect is not the same as paralyze or mind control, both of which are far more powerful. And again you can have both easily and it was not the question. The question was what you guys think complements enchantment the most on the same character, a sorcerer to be specific, who by the way gets +5 to DC for enchantment spells so I can guarantee you that he will be just as good landing his spells. The question then is what to complement that with. Personally I am thinking of evocation so besides buffs, debuffs and CC you have some damage and CC which does not target will, specifically (Mass) Icy Prison and Sirocco. Both of these can also further enhanced by choosing not just evocation focus but also elemental focus. Also thinking of getting the Eldritch Arcana mod so instead of Clashing Rocks I get Wish spell which is far better than Clashing Rocks.
