I tried to kill him fast, but Nok Nok's sneak attack did no damage and he is my main melee damage dealer. Then I depended on Kineticist and my Wizard to kill him. Jaethal is more of a tank and Harrim was dispensing offensive spells as his hit chance is not that good vs crazy high AC characters like this one.You have been fighting with this guy for rounds?) He never lived to the third spell cast in any of my runs, smashed by hasted melees.
Why would you fight him instead of doing that awesome battle vs Sirotek and its minions?Hey, I found Cleveland Mark Blakemore in that dungeon, huffing and puffing his huge heaving chest, and sicing his big golden golem baby on me, screaming how I would be smitten like the intellectual cripple I was. It was the shortest "boss" battle in the game so far as I laughed at his red jellied remains beneath my boots, his golden baby broken.

Well, I think I did try to talk sense into him in the event of extra easter eggs but my Diplomacy skill check wasn't high enough.
I think this game could do with some decent surrender scripts like NWN had. Once a battle starts it doesn't seem like it can ever stop short of total annihilation of your enemies. I would have happily extended my hand in friendship to Cleve and helped him up off the ground so we could fight the evil Sirtec and his minions together.
"Dear Pathfinders,
Not every day brings good news, and, unfortunately, today is one of those other days. We regret to inform you that, after much consideration, we’ve decided to postpone the release of our 3rd DLC, “Beneath The Stolen Lands”, by around a month.
Multiple factors have influenced this decision. We don’t have much experience with procedurally generated dungeons, and the game’s engine wasn’t originally built to support such content. Our goal – to make the DLC endlessly repeatable –demands that we hit a high standard of replayability, and that puts additional pressure on our game designers. Last but not least, we feel that we need to make more time for testing and quality assurance.
All in all, this is a rather ambitious project for us, and we want to make sure we deliver an experience that is worthy of our players’ attention. We sincerely apologize for this delay, and we hope that you understand our reasons.
To soften the blow and share our progress with you, here’s a little sneak peek inside the mysterious underground dungeon we’ve been building all this time. We hope you like what you see!
Sincerely,
Owlcats."
well, doesn't it apply to AoEs as well?Sense Vitals... well, it's a short lived buff and your typical wizard can't hit the broad side of a barn. An Arcane Trickster could have some use from that... or an Eldritch Knight. A traditional Wizard? Not much.
It applies to AOE only when you have Arcane Trickster level 10 ability Surprise Spells. Without it, only to things with attack roll, like Ray spells or Snowball.well, doesn't it apply to AoEs as well?
