artist simply chosen that joan de arc actress with ugly boi haircut (which is again strange, she's not a saint and is kinda dum?)
I thought the hair cut was the one good part of the portrait. Valerie shouldn't have been described as a DIVINE beauty. Rather the real problem should have been how her family and everyone around her are a bunch of aesthetic wankers. With that comes her attempt to not flatter her better angles too much with a shitty 'squire boy' haircut.
