It's "Guide to Travelers:", yes.

You find first part somewhere in prologue, so people who say wisps don't shoot lightning would know that wisps shoot lightning.

There is even a book in game that tells you the location, or at least mentions, a local

That's the thing about difficulty and fun tho

One person finds enemy they can't kill, and they continues to return to the fight and try and find a way to win.
Another goes "lol thats retarded" reads solution and then proclaims encounters "piss easy".

Lol because not liking your cookie cutter group means that I dislike human characters. Or maybe I dislike them because they sound boring, is all.
And yes, I think that in term of variety in characters BG1>>>BG2. I'd happily exchange Nalia for Xan, or Keldorn for Yeslick. (Also, PST companions >>> BG companions.)

I don't even like Tolkien, but his books would never be such a success if they had only human characters. That's the part you don't get. Tropes are the McDonalds equivalent of character building; they sell because they are cheap to make, not because they are good. And so you end up with bookshops filled with fantasy trash books that are forgotten as soon as they published, while Tolkien remains.

I know your intetions are good but I am 80 hours in... my warden is Kessen and my kingdom is pure shit , because:
1 - I didn't know at start how to manage it.
2 - I simply neglected it.

So im stuck with disaster after disaster.... and I don't want to restart.

Restart. If your advisors lost the battle with the events's DC then you'll keep on spiraling.

That's why I'm paranoid about time and kingdome upgrades.

wait, for a sword saint? I don't think you need to take an exotic feat, it comes with your free weapon focus at character creation.

Honestly I have no idea. Try to correct the situation but if it's disaster after disaster then it's bad.
