An oasis of love and friendship.
Make the Codex Great Again! Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. I helped put crap in Monomyth
Do you mean are there additions later in the game, or will it be expanded on in DLC/patches? Either way I think the answer is probably yes, the later game with artisan quests involves you a bit more, and I think there is a lot of potential to incorporate more parts of gameplay into the kingdom management section, like finding Armag's Tomb or

Yeah, I mainly meant does it seem like they are intending on fleshing out the kingdom management more. It about the only thing holding me back from diving back in right now.

they said in that stream that they were going to overhaul the kingdom management by the end of november

Insert Title Here Strap Yourselves In Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Divinity: Original Sin 2
I wanted a high-damage weapon without having to spend a Feat on Exotic Weapons, get off my dick!

It's just amusing to me that so many screenshots are of Lawful (and sometimes Good) types. We really are authoritarian!

I posted my LE Half Orc Inquisitor earlier and LE options for Kingdoms decisions seems to be best for now but LG in this game is of Tolkien Aragorn variety rather my name is Auntie Angela and i welcome all foreign and beast scum to my barony with open arms. :incline:

For such baron pick the NG and CG options. Seriously how do you expect to manage and rule a country as chaotic type Comrade?

Speaking of wtf moments:

In Harim quest my Paladin of Torag Dwarf was unable to prevent distraction of precious forge artifact or kill Harim moment later. WTF?!

I think I found what they slap on half of the monsters in the game https://i.imgur.com/CmiaMKo.jpg
But I can't find archetypes with natural concealment yet

I also found what First World does with magic, and ima pretty sure it's not 50% flat spell failure or, 50% flat failure is the most boring way you can code it. Sorry for atrocious pdf formatting:

Magic on the First World is mutable, confusing, and
self-contradictory. The following section attempts to
give an overview of some of the issues GMs will want to
consider when running a First World game, but should
be considered advice and inspiration rather than hard-
and-fast rules.

Spellcasting
Spellcasting is unreliable in the First World, especially for
religious divine casters, and different GMs may choose to
represent this in different ways.

Normal Magic
: The simplest way is to ignore the issue
altogether—the PCs have such strong wills that
they force reality to operate according to
their preconceptions, allowing magic to
function normally. This is a perfectly
reasonable choice for GMs whose
parties would find inhibited magic
too frustrating to be enjoyable.

Simple Impairment
: Spells contacting
non-Eldest deities or summoning outsider
allies have a high probability (50% or higher)
of failure or acting in unexpected ways. Spells intended
to summon non-outsiders summon First World versions
instead. All arcane casters must succeed at a caster level
check (DC = 10 + the spell’s level) to avoid spell failure,
while divine casters not devoted to an Eldest must
attempt the same check with a higher DC (DC = 15 + the
spell’s level)—this is in addition to the difficulty discussed
above of contacting other planes. Druids, rangers, and
others who cast through the power of the Green Faith are
unaffected, as are magic items.

Random Magic
: Magic is extremely unpredictable.
Spellcasters who fail the caster level check presented in
the Simple Impairment rules above have
their magic transform instead
into a totally random effect.
For sample random
effect tables, see the
rod
of wonder
entry in the
Pathfinder RPG
Core Rulebook
or the rules
for primal magic (
Pathfinder
Campaign Setting: Inner Sea
Magic
12), or consider making your
own table.
Variable Magic
: Under this method, spell
effects are not completely random as in the
random magic method detailed above, but instead
modulate in unpredictable ways. This operates as per
the simple impairment rules above, but instead of having
a spell fizzle, a spellcaster who fails a check rolls on the
table below. If a given effect doesn’t apply to a particular
spell, continue to go down the list until one does. GMs are
encouraged to add to or modify the table as they see fit.

So only summoning/contact dieties spells should have 50% chance of failure actually.

Is there a book which has just like all Archetypes you can slap on monsters in one package?

Is Advanced Bestiary, still no Primal thingie

Is hard to find what things are supposed to be every time developers go HOHOHO is not JUST OWLBEAR, is Enrage TM Enlarged TM Dweomer TM First World TM FeyBear TM Ability 1 Su Ability 2 Su BEAR!!!!11

like https://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/templates/
scrolling thro this did not lend be answer for example; and PK has it's own rules like that CR+5 Spell resistance thing for First World critters

I'm really happy with the state of the game now. Started a completely new game with 1.0.12 and haven't encountered anything game breaking so far, just met Vordakai.

Shieeet. Totally forgot about Bart mage. Just went to troll stronghold and genocided everything and on the way back only when passing his location remembered about him. Met him only once BEFORE troll crisis so no chained troll in basement event and no whip.
I'll see if we can negotiate.

So he acknowledges we dealt with troll problem>still one of the trolls trapped>key to the basement>dimwit is here>told Bart his experiments are fine as long as he don't break law and now he just stands here and trade with us.
I'll try to visit him again later.
At least you can still buy bag of holding from him.

meanwhile... while creating mercs i somehow fell in love with the idea of a glaive wielding sword saint, full dex and cha, some int, low str, perfect for one of the vanilla portraits. i picture this infamous silver tongued duelist, almost impossible to hit, moving from place to place
obviously sub-par, i'm not afraid to lower difficulty. my question is: is there a way to make it viable? are there agile glaives in game to be used with him?

so? no help?

Where is the whining about single enemy areas? It's worse than Dumpsterfire in this regard, still haven't found a bigger dungeon as well.

Heavy Shield: A wooden piece of shit.
Heavy Shield +1: A slightly sturdier wooden piece of shit
Heavy Shield +2: Actually looks like a proper shield
Heavy Shield +3: Ornate and fit for a Paladin
Heavy Shield +4: Like the regular heavy shield but with a splotch of blue paint?!

Hm, those are the ones I enjoy most so far. One worthy enemy, one epic battle. Beats wading through countless waves of trashmobs in dungeons.

How long will the invitation from the dryad remain active? Am in Season of bloom ATM.
Skipping it cause to go with lone PC I'd have to strip the inventory cause of encumberence.

Single enemies tend to suffer from action deficit. It casts 1 spell, you nuke it with 6. You can really take down much higher EL fights against single enemies than an equivalent EL multi-enemy party.

Natural 20s are the worst offenders, you can spam summons and wail on higher EL enemies until you luck out enough to dumpster them.

Tell that to the lady of shallows. But nevertheless, what I and i think also Parabalus meant was single encounter maps, not necessarily a single (one unit) adversary.

Same thing. If you know that you are only going to encounter one fight before you can rest again, you blow your way through all your resources instead of saving up for a potential subsequent fight. A caster who goes nova is a thing to behold, bonus points if it is also a psion.

A just reward (Nymph solo ambush quest):

How do I "kill all the monsters"?

I combed the map and wiped out everything, can't access the inner area anymore. Is the journal lying and running is the only way?

On this topic, how do you shorten resting /skip the party chatter?
I've been resting exclusively on the world map because it's 20x faster.
