So is, rly lvl 16 the max you can achieve in this game? I just finished Pitax and I am 180k XP from level 17. Thought I could get to 17 easy. Am I wrong?

On my way to lvl 20, also just finished Pitax. Persuasion is the way to go about it. Trickery is also very good.

Did you give the Paladin the Heart of the Anvil and the Heart of the Golem? I only gave him the Golem one, and the helmet says DR5 in my game. The character sheet still says DR10 though.

With exp sharing, 6 men party. although of late it's been buffing my mainchar to the nines and then he soloes pretty much everything. On unfair and maxed difficulties, that. In Pitax port alone, you've got five 40+ persuasion checks. That's 2 lvls minimum if you go tthere lvl 16.

Meh. That's slander. the Monblut convo alone (two 45 intimidates) gives you about 300000-400000 exp I believe. And then you have the captain who has 3 checks 35-45 range. And then you go out and have that thieves guild dwarf with a 42 intimidate/bluff check. That's all port. there are couple of 35 ies on main square area too I believe.
Also, this has to be the most hilarious bug I had to endure Post-Pitax. Ladies, Gentlemen and folks of other persuasion, may I present you her grace, the Marchioness Della Fiorni from Pitax?

You mean a high Int rogue with all the skill pointz! I too like to run utility character with a lot of skill points.

You don't need to be a rogue for that. A Sword Saint/pally dip should cover three of the most lucrative skills: Trickery, Lore:Arcana and of course, persuasion.

I arrived in Pitax lvl 17, or lvl 16 very close to lvl 17 I think. Is your charactr persuasion based? Because I remember a conversation in Armag's tomb giving also a ton of exp.

Well, how? I made the check and it was just the crack, no extra passage or whatever. Today I've read on SPUF that it was bugged in 1.0.12, so it might be inaccessible now anyway.

PS As for wizards - I have several heightened PKs in my spellbook(I'm illusion wizard), so it might not be that hard, if he does not have insane SR and 40+ will save (mind fog + some other stuff)

It's a ghost of a wizard. Pretty sure PK does not work on Undead.

Skill checks are main source of XP. I have uploaded a couple of screenshots showing getting half a level of xp from checks. I do like to cover all the skill checks,it is kind of autistic,but i do like seeing everything.

"Ton" is as 61200, or 3% of mentioned difference.
One can't accidentaly "miss" 1 600 000 xp, you literally have double xp of a regular player.
