You don't. You only get to fight the fucker (who is bugged and immortal in my game) if you help Cleve finish the Grimoire with the Arcana check.

Yeah, i had somewhat around had 1 600 000 xp at Pitax, and he has 3 200 000 in his screenshot.

I arrived in Pitax lvl 17, or lvl 16 very close to lvl 17 I think. Is your charactr persuasion based? Because I remember a conversation in Armag's tomb giving also a ton of exp.

"Ton" is as 61200, or 3% of mentioned difference.
One can't accidentaly "miss" 1 600 000 xp, you literally have double xp of a regular player.

I wouldn't know, I never actually killed him, seeing as how the very competent, diligent Owlcat developers bugged him into immortality, so I settled for the Intimidate check and left.

I don't think that it is bugged but it is pumped up because of rushed endgame content. They had to let you get to level 20 but couldn't fill the last chapters with enough content.

Maybe you didn't explore enough before it? I was around 15-16 level at the barbarian invasion chapter. Or maybe they patch changed the xp in some checks?

I haven't tried the romances yet. Valerie seems too much a goody-two shoes or just...too Swedish, and Octavia is just a slag / failed single mother in waiting to anything with a cock and a pulse. Which leaves me with Linzi or Jaethal - in other words, I have to choose between being a paedophile or necrophiliac.

So celibacy for my character, or wait out in hope for an essentially dead chick to show some interest...?

Does the 20% speed increase given by the Kamelands prject work? Also, does it work only in the Kamelands or everywhere?

Yes I've seen the screenshot. I did this quest too and noticed the XP gains - which by the way match the experience of everybody else - except you. You on the other hand get millions (yes lvl 20 requires 3.6 mil ) XP more than everybody else by greatly inflated XP rewards. Which is of course totally normal, it's just that all the others are "doing it wrong".

I did ask whether it was normal earlier in the thread. I assume most of us are beyond the childish age to insinuate that I cheated that in and then tried to sell it to you folks :D However, I happen to have a save just before Pitax and will check what exactly happens with my game. As I said above, I can provide that save if you are curious
UPD: Do you guys have skill experience shared among team members too? as in, whoever uses the skill, gets all the exp. That's how it has been in my game since the very beginning. Might be the cause of my Nok-Nok being lvl 17 as well.

They are lvl 15-16 in fact.

It still feels high because I was level 17 doing everything and my companions were similar ~16 level. Dialogue XP seems just crazy to me anyway, bug or not.
