Very dramaqueenfag lineup. Especially the orc wizard. What's the bet that the female warrior has Strength 10 to give her more kudos with the dramafags?

This brings back lots of memories of the old WotC boards where the dramafags tried to pillory anyone who plays a character that is not gimped in some way because, you know, a normal person becoming a hero is the only way to play. Note that their idea of a normal guy is not 10 stats across the board (in DnD 3.5, natch, so all your casters are effectively useless) but 10 stats across the board, and a crippled leg, hand, eye or all three plus deaf and dumb (as in can't speak) to boot.

I’m all for playing against type by picking suboptimal races for your class, but this is ridiculous.

Quite possible actually that when this game was originally conceived (which must have been in early 2016 at the latest), romances were one of the ways in which they planned on distinguishing themselves from PoE. But then PoE2 ended up having them too.

POE2 was to mimic BG2, thus it NEEDED romances.

Right, right, will they keep them on same subdued level as BG2, though? Seeing how they're advertising them, I highly doubt it.
I mean, either I'm very dense or very lucky, but in the 2 playthroughs of BG2 I didn't stumble into them. Only later the Codex made me aware of them.

Oh, yeah, also one of the playthroughs was definitely with a female character so that one might be explainable.

Dunno man, guess I was not interested in "exploring" my companions in that way, but going by the Codex it seems to be really hard to avoid them so... dunno...

Now that I think of it, Jaheira is pretty racist, so maybe you were of a race that couldn't romance her. Maybe at this point Biocuck hadn't jumped straight into the debauchery.

You are not exploring your companions in bg. THEY are exploring you. Companions start romance dialogs.

Fuck that, I'm not touching an orc cum dumpster. I guess the only viable option is the Joan D'Arc wannabe. Besides, from what I read in her biography she used to be a noble so it seems she will be perfect as my consort.
