Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
sstacks and anyone else who thinks Valerie’s shield looks implausible: it’s modeled after a real late medieval design, the Talhoffer dueling shield. There’s plenty of cartoony stuff in Pathfinder but the shield is legitimate.

Fair enough, but the shields in that image are sort of thin-ish, while Valerie's is like a triple steel reinforced bank vault door :P

My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
sstacks, I wanted to say thanks for creating and posting your vids. I just started watching, but I've been enjoying getting a look at the beta.

(One bit of constructive commentary though... it might not be necessary for you to read all the dialogue aloud. I have horrible eyesight, but I can still see well enough to read the dialogue in your videos, myself. :) Then again, if that's just part of your style, then so be it.)

Strap Yourselves In Serpent in the Staglands Shadorwun: Hong Kong Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
Honestly I find that barbarian holding that huge sword far more ridiculous than the shield.
Supposed to be a giant's sword or something innit. Plus it can be used only while raging, assuming we're both talking about the same barbarian.

It's a weeb thing, for some reason Japs are enamoured with the concept of giant slabs of metal acting as bona fide swords

latest

Yeah I read Berserk so I'm familiar with it. But isn't Pathfinder a western tabletop RPG? Plus the fact that it's a woman doing it instead of someone like this
adds to the ridiculousness.

Yeah I feel like it's one of those things where if I don't read it out, then the other half will say something. So I err on the side of loving to hear myself talk :P I do appreciate the feedback!

The game looks promising, it looks fun and interesting especially th character creation and the camping system.

I actually called that out as "Final Fantasy ridiculous" more than the shield thing I think ;)

It doesn't really bother me, Pathfinder has always had a more cartoony artstyle than D&D. The game is actually tamer with it than I expected

It seems there is a new patch.
Does anyone know where to read patchnotes?

I don't like Pathfinder, think that Golarion is a retarded mess and dislike Paizo, but am looking forward to the game since the KS pitch.

I don't think it's a duelling shield, looks more like a pavise to me.

The game is too hard =(
The worst thing is - since its in closed beta there is almost zero chance somone will make a proper cheat engine table for this.
What's so hard about it? The only difficulty comes from trying to play it popamole style and expecting to be able to kill everything every time you enter a new area.

The Technical league camp was surprisingly easy compared to the first encounter. The temple ruins had 2 though critters, but luckily they were separate and it doesn't feel like an area you should be in at level 1 anyway. Other than this, at level 2-3, I think it's somewhat self understood that you should not be fighting trolls or undead thingies with bloody Champion in their name. Or that boar demigod ffs, that guy pisses me off. :argh:

13 hours in and I have to say I'm enjoying this more than I thought I would.
Surprisingly easy = 1 to 3 against one-shotting melee guys who you miss 80% of the time...
It's not easy or hard, its literally impossible at level 2!

The Technical league camp.
I don't think you should be there at level 2. I think it's better to go to the kobold/mite area and level up there first. If you didn't you could also follow the Stag Lord questline all the way to the abandoned temple before returning to take on these guys.

I did it at level 3 and it was easy. I had my char - an inquisitor - Valerie, the barbarian chick, the bard and the dwarf priest. Sneak in from the east, free the 2 guys there and you have the numerical advantange. Blow your entire load of buffs, sleep/fear the unnamed mages and get someone on the named one ASAP and Bob's your uncle.

The random encounter with them on the road was a lot tougher since I was level 2 and the 3 mages they have spam summon monster like it's going out of style and wildlife critters eat steroids for breakfast in this game.
My party consists of 3 level-2 characters - main char who is paladin, valerie and barbarian.
