Not to mention adding the fiendish template to regular monsters. There’s already like twelve different flavors of Demons in the Alpha. Once they turn on all the distinctive abilities of each you’ll be begging for less variety. They’re like Krynn Draconians on steroids.
Owlcat isn't at the looting phase of success; where the vultures come swooping in. They're still a young dev studio looking to make a name for themselves.I contributed a pretty amount to the Kickstarter campaign which likely allows me access to the Alpha build. But I think I will just wait for the official release this summer. Opted for the physical release/manual that is autographed by the devs. I am pretty optimistic and full faith in the devs; so do NOT pull a CD Projekt Red us LMAO...
Even from there character model still looks a bit comical.
I consider the Kingmaker Adventure Path to be rather bad, with some glaring flaws that I didn't expect could be fixed in a cRPG adaptation. That is why I didn't originally back it. But the Russians fixed most of those flaws and earned my trust, even though I consider the Wrath of the Righteous AP to be even worse. Then I question the choice of adapting this particular campaign.
How much content will the beta version of the game have? The alpha ends at the Knight Commanderso I'm curious what the next build will have to justify the rather hefty price tag attached to it.jumping down into the Abyss,

Do the alpha continue when you getDrenzen? which location you go after?
Last I was in Discord some devs confirmed that the Beta will be just right after that, namely you going to Abbys as Chapter 4. After that we don't really know anything else about the Beta. I personally hope that Beta will keep being upadted with content up to full release (so essentially Early Acess) but for now the only confirmed content is Chapter 4 (and whole lot of polish for previous chapters, Chapter 3 has a lot of stuff missing for some Mythic Paths iirc in Discord)

Yeah, it does. After Drezen, you havecompanion quests popping up, including quite a few sidequests. You get kingdom management stuff, though other than two particular options there, it doesn't really matter. Also, all the mythic paths start getting their own quests as well - Liches build a ziggurat, Angels have to look for one of their kind - which ties into the main quest - Aeons get events judging people and I haven't played through the other paths as of yet. There's a fair bit of roaming around the world, but not too much. There's two key locations related to the main quest: Wintersun and Ivory Sanctum - you have to do Wintersun first in order to get inside the Ivory Sanctum.

Thanks, I'm kind of hoping they go for the full game option as well.
I've wanted to ask this for some time, how does azata zippy magic interact with chain lightning? Does it allow you to create two bouncing bolts? If it does, can the secondary bolt hit creatures that have already been struck by the primary one?
It would've been pretty hilarious if it worked like that. It would've basically turned the spell into a "delete everything on the screen" button, especially for the arcane tricksters.

I think it would make more sense if it was single target only, like twin metamagic in dnd. But magic is underwhelming right now, demons have really high sr, hopefully owlcat will give us tools to deal with that.
