Its been a while since I played tabletop, but I recall there is a decent number of Monstrous Humanoids and Undead in the campaign. There's also a large variety of Demons much like you'd see from the Magical Beast family.

There’s already like twelve different flavors of Demons in the Alpha. Once they turn on all the distinctive abilities of each you’ll be begging for less variety. They’re like Krynn Draconians on steroids.
Not to mention adding the fiendish template to regular monsters.

I contributed a pretty amount to the Kickstarter campaign which likely allows me access to the Alpha build. But I think I will just wait for the official release this summer. Opted for the physical release/manual that is autographed by the devs. I am pretty optimistic and full faith in the devs; so do NOT pull a CD Projekt Red us LMAO...

Owlcat isn't at the looting phase of success; where the vultures come swooping in. They're still a young dev studio looking to make a name for themselves.

The atmosphere, the lighting and the details are on another level compared to the previous game (no spoiler, just a normal castle room)

One thing they need to do though with those Models is cut back on the hands. They are a tad to large on the females it looks rather silly.

I wonder how they will add cloaks. There is a lot that could be done with cloaks.

I like the art work on the shields very well done. Seeing that same art work in the world really helps with the Lore of the world.

Also the T Posing of the Models when you go the screen has to be fixed. Over all though it looks good.

I am helpful, am I not!

Then I question the choice of adapting this particular campaign.
I consider the Kingmaker Adventure Path to be rather bad, with some glaring flaws that I didn't expect could be fixed in a cRPG adaptation. That is why I didn't originally back it. But the Russians fixed most of those flaws and earned my trust, even though I consider the Wrath of the Righteous AP to be even worse.

Is Demon Slayer Ranger archetype in the alpha? If so, can anyone screenshot it

How much content will the beta version of the game have? The alpha ends at the Knight Commander
jumping down into the Abyss,
so I'm curious what the next build will have to justify the rather hefty price tag attached to it.

Do the alpha continue when you get
Drenzen? which location you go after?

Last I was in Discord some devs confirmed that the Beta will be just right after that, namely you going to Abbys as Chapter 4. After that we don't really know anything else about the Beta. I personally hope that Beta will keep being upadted with content up to full release (so essentially Early Acess) but for now the only confirmed content is Chapter 4 (and whole lot of polish for previous chapters, Chapter 3 has a lot of stuff missing for some Mythic Paths iirc in Discord)

Yeah, it does. After Drezen, you have
companion quests popping up, including quite a few sidequests. You get kingdom management stuff, though other than two particular options there, it doesn't really matter. Also, all the mythic paths start getting their own quests as well - Liches build a ziggurat, Angels have to look for one of their kind - which ties into the main quest - Aeons get events judging people and I haven't played through the other paths as of yet. There's a fair bit of roaming around the world, but not too much. There's two key locations related to the main quest: Wintersun and Ivory Sanctum - you have to do Wintersun first in order to get inside the Ivory Sanctum.

Thanks, I'm kind of hoping they go for the full game option as well.

That or atleast chapter 5, i trust overwatch to be able to do decent stuff bugfixing final chapter after they improved to keep finale spoiler free but chapter 5 completed should definitely be in.

I've wanted to ask this for some time, how does azata zippy magic interact with chain lightning? Does it allow you to create two bouncing bolts? If it does, can the secondary bolt hit creatures that have already been struck by the primary one?

It would've been pretty hilarious if it worked like that. It would've basically turned the spell into a "delete everything on the screen" button, especially for the arcane tricksters.

I think it would make more sense if it was single target only, like twin metamagic in dnd. But magic is underwhelming right now, demons have really high sr, hopefully owlcat will give us tools to deal with that.

Tools are already in game. Magic isn't underwhelming lol. You can't own bosses as a hobby with just spells (Bombs, Hexes, and some Blasts bypass SR of course, as do Inflict spells), but dedicated casters have all kinds of items and Mythic stuff to buff Spell Pen. Biggest boost for casters is lessening of time pressure.

Alright, I will test some more on this new run, but by level 4 I have been fighting enemies with 19 and 21 (I think?) SR, not sure if my slow build will work yet. Piercing spell would be really useful though.

Yeah, lvl four you’re probably going to need a different approach. Solutions start around lvl six, but there are a lot of them.
