Anyone know what Appsflyer is and why it has been added to WoTR?
It's a tracking app they added with the latest update

EDIT:
I checked reddit and apparently they've reverted it

What the fuck, they did it again?! I mean, I'm still not clear on the particulars of the last time they were accused of adding spyware, you had a rep here saying that they'd only "clarified" the EULA for already existing data collection and that they'd be more careful in the future, but now they go and pull the exact bullshit they were roasted for at that point?

And some of the fanboys here were telling me off for having lost faith in Owlcat over the last debacle. Fuck you. I loved Kingmaker and I wanted to be persuaded I was just being paranoid, but now I'm glad I didn't give in and buy it after all. It doesn't matter they rolled it back, the prior outrage, whether it was legitimate or not, should've at a bare minimum made it clear how their customers would react, and yet they just went ahead and tried it anyway.

I think Lann is actually OK. The character is just a pretty ordinary guy, mutant morlock status not-withstanding. He isn't a burden, and I like that.
Did you complete Lann's questline? The final questline made me really dislike him.
Seriously, what a terribly written ending.
Last time I dealt with him was some minor tribal stuff and (spoiler) meeting his mother who abandoned him.

What engine upgrade is this guy talking about? I can't find any info in the patch notes.

No, I get it. Who could've seen this coming?

You didn't reach the cringe then. The last part of his questline is pretty stupid.
Basically, you finally deal with that demon who corrupted the mongrels once and for all. Lann wants to use his plan against it which involves...confronting it with no backup, allowing the demon taint to corrupt him and then resisting it, which may or may not ending up killing him, and he actually tells you if you go through with it that it was excruciating and that he nearly died. If you tell him no that's retarded and fight Savwhat'shisface as a team and curb stomp it in like 2 rounds he gets really pissy and starts whining about how you don't trust him EVEN IF YOU WERE NICE TO THE TWAT ALL GAME.
So yeah, the his final quest makes him an absolute retard and a whiny little bitch.
Oh, and if you tell him it was so he didn't get himself killed for his stupidity you know what he says? "What if I wanted to get killed?"
Absolute shit tier writing.

Not really. There's basically no content for evil Aru. The option is almost purely cosmetic, you're basically just locked out of further content. Kind of disappointing.

Her new voiceset is pretty good though.

Wish it was cosmetic when it came to the build. Her evil favored enemy choices are fabulously bad, the kind of thing a 1st time player would make for roleplay reasons, and utterly ruin her. Also some other bad feat/mythic choices IIRC. Which is in sharp contrast to her default build which is one of the best optimized in the game along with brokenly high stats (even if you ignore CHA because its mostly irrelevant).

Well, I finally finished this today. Back then, the Enigma broke me. That must be the most boring dungeon I've ever played through in an otherwise good game. Rest of the game was pretty great though. Spotty encounter design and obviously the game pays a heavy moment-to-moment gameplay price for being as systemically complex as it is, but I'm having trouble imagining PF gameplay being much better than this.

So all in all, very satisfied with the game. Guess it's on to Inevitable Excess at some point and then Through the Ashes. Gonna try and see if a Shifter build can supplant the "fixed" natural attacks build I had so much fun with.

Evil Arueshalae does have some unique dialogues, most of them are in Threshold. Very barebone.

I’ve just finished Threshold. She didn’t pipe up once
I think it's when you speak with every companion before entering the final area.

I didn't really care about that, by that point of the game you are in full anime superhero's territory throwing Kamehameha at each other, it wasn't as jarring as Arueshalae rantings or Ember wololo.

You guys really want to tell me that this dialogue is "bad", and that Nenio and Ember are "cringe characters with awful dialogue" ?

What an amazing piece of writing! Every sentence has an exclamation mark! This really shows how energetic and enthusiastic the character is! We must have more writing like this!

You could literally cut and paste that Nenio line into any other RPG and if anything it would only feel more appropriate, if the game you chose was a more modern RPG setting where words like "science" and "hypothesis" don't feel badly out of place.

The life of the hapa.

Seems pretty accurate

Do you... understand how a send-up works? Humor?

The fucking love science people are on a crusade themselves and are as out of place in this age as a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.

It’s where you get your best items. Have to be able to unlock areas and defend against invading armies.
