I have either the option to be a prick and to send him away with cruel words or accept his homosexual advances. See how this is stupid? See how the woke writer wrote totally un-nice yet soooo coool prideyish conversation? No line like a normaly thinking, semi-kind person would say: "I'm sorry Daeran, and thanks for all your gifts, but I am not interested in this kind of relationship."

-Combat and char building are better. (Mythic paths)
-Writing is worse. (Particularly companions)
-graphics are better
-because of the crusade system and other mechanics, game is still slow and tedious at times
-crusader system is more loading screens to look at i guess,

Core design is still same as kingmaker though, so if you didn’t like it, avoid this one, and vice versa

I also forgot to note, there is some not much reactivity to your deity and possibly race but it’s minimal. Alignment is terrible because they traded alignment reactivity for mythic path reactivity so don’t expect good alignment choices or restrictions, though mythic path choices are good and provide fun in decisions

Weirdly enough I managed to do it through hilor. Undead staunton wasn't on his list before but he is now, maybe it's one of the 1000 bugs of the game.

I wonder why with Sosiel is the opposite, 0 chance to be a "prick" (actually lawful good). Like that Siege of dragonspear cleric, can't really be mean to him. It's like they know the reaction would have been aggressive since, it's completely out of the blue and they force you to be "tolerant".

On hard I never tried, but in core, I followed the damaging attribute strategy :

Well, I didn't really try. I just found it and I remember ppl crying about it so I will try tomorrow.
My main char has the -2 STR thief ability, but I doubt it will be enough.
Btw that's basically normal difficulty (core + turd based).
