Summary of 2/4/2020 Twitch Stream from Owlcat Games. This will be a summary of the Q&A they did. There was too much to cover(Two hour video!), so I decided to focus on the questions and answers that people might be interested in. Even so, I might miss some details and even have made some mistakes, apologies. Time stamps will be given to each question. Stream starts here:

Q)What will be the choices we take be like, and how will they affect the world?
A)
Creative Director: We liked how choices worked in Pathfinder: Kingmaker. As a result, we would like to make more choices like that, and to make them even more impactful. However, most developers will most likely say the same thing. So I will try to give some examples. But mostly from Pathfinder: Kingmaker, because any examples from Wrath of Righteous will essentially be a spoiler. I will try to be as vague as possible. In Pathfinder: Kingmaker we could do a lot of interesting things. For example, a certain event, after you confronted the trolls, will allow you to befriend some enemies and then welcome them into your kingdom. Which has an impact on the game from both the written perspective and gameplay. Gameplay wise you are given access to a special vendor with some items. In regards to mechanics, you are able to build unique buildings in the capital which affects both kingdom development and management. In terms of narrative, the alliance will pay off in different ways. In Wrath of the Righteous we are trying to make more decisions like that. Some of these decisions are tied to the mythic system. We try to shape these decisions in a way that it will show you the main story from different perspectives.

Q)Have you guys announced how many companions you can have at your party at once?

Q)How will mythic paths interact with spell casting and progression? Will it be the same as pnp, or completely different?
A)
Lead Mechanics Designer: It depends on the path. Some mythic paths provide you with a separate spell book. Mythic paths like Lich or Angel will allow your casting level to be increased by your mythic level. Which will mean more spells, higher level spells, and so on. Basically if you are a Lich and Wizard, you will become a more powerful wizard. A Fighter and Lich will become a spell caster. You'll cast weaker spells but you will gain more powerful spells later in the game.

Q)Will your choice of mythic path affect the kind of army you'll get?
A)
Lead Mechanics Designer: You will have unique units based on your mythic path. Also, you will have other choices to make that will affect the units you can get. For example, a Lich can possibly get good type units depending on their choices.

Q)Explain demon path, please.
A)
Lead Mechanics Designer: Let me explain the design philosophy we used when designing the mythic system. We use a thing called a reference class. Basically this is which class a mythic path will be more similar to. For example, for Lich it is obviously Wizard. For Angel it is a mishmash between the cleric and paladin. For the demon it will be blood rager, one of its main features is demonic rage. If you are a barbarian or blood rager, while being a demon, then the demonic rage will stack. Demon will also have a unique charge that is unstoppable.
Creative Director: In terms of the story demon will have certain events that relate to the demon's rage. You can let the rage go loose, or you can try to contain it, and manage it.
Lead Mechanics Designer: Also demon will be able to get some properties of other demons. Some spells can also transform you into other demons too.

Q)Will there be more utility spells like time stop?
A)
Creative Director: We would to do this properly, and to do so, it would require a lot of effort. We are thinking about this now, but no promises.

Q)Is the army part like a RTS experience? Do you recruit units from an interface, or do you actually go out and recruit them?
A)
Creative Director: The army experience is not like a total war experience.

Q)Will portraits change based on which mythic path we choose?
A)
Lead Mechanics Designer: Your portrait will change throughout the game. You can also change your portrait to your favorite Lich.

Q)Will Wizards be able to scribe scrolls, and how will crafting in general be implemented in the game?
A)
Creative Director: Crafting as per pathfinder rules will not be present in the game. It wasn't present in Kingmaker and won't be present in this game. But there will be some elements of crafting, and there will also be some systems that fulfill similar goals. However, not the exact crafting from Pathfinder table top. In terms of scribing scrolls, I can not answer. I don't know what we can or can't talk about.

Q)Time limits and events in Kingmaker created a sense of immersion and progress on the world. Anything similar in Wrath?
A)
Creative Director: Yes and No. Time management was a necessary tool in Kingmaker to allow you the feeling of reward from building your nation. This time around we are trying to make you feel like the leader of a crusade. It's not really about time, but more about the war effort and the troops. So as a result we are trying to make it as immersive in that regard. However, we can not talk about this for now.

Q)Will companions or other important NPCs be a part of the strategic layer? Will we have advisor positions like in Kingmaker?

Creative Director: There will be special roles. You can expect different roles like scouting and logistics.
Lead Mechanics Designer: The current ones are strategy, general, diplomat, spymaster, and arch mage.
