Bullying works well when a relatively homogeneous community wants to preserve its heritage.
In this community, RPGs were what brought us together regardless of our differences. We grew up playing them because they were fun. What's been happening lately is different. Modern RPGs are being designed to offer acceptance fantasies to fringe minorities. These groups are being deliberately catered to, by design, as a marketing segment. Apparently there was an enormous latent appetite for idpol LARPing grounds, and our hobby has been hijacked to serve that purpose.
So, when the primary goal of these newer RPGs is to virtually empower oppressed minorities, politics is the topic. Deliberately stifling that subject, here or elsewhere, makes any genuine discussion of RPGs impossible. Which I guess is the idea.
Fuckin gregz left too? Wtf, this place is goin to shit and fast. Pretty soon it's just gonna be me talking to myself just like aweigh.
No one actually knows what has happened to Gregz

More like fans of certain games pretending that talking about stuff that is in the game is off-topic because it's stuff they'd rather ignore.I mean he wasn't wrong. Though knowing the rightoid identitarian types, this was all just a roundabout way of saying "REEEEE A BLACK PERSON GET OUT"

The site has been collapsing in slow-mo for like at least 5 or 6 years at this point. It's the closest experience you can have to living through the final days of the Soviet Union in an Eastern Bloc country. Very unique and something you can't really get anywhere else.
I like Gregz but that last post is just an extended low-pitched whine. Talk about going out with a whimper. Videogames offering FANTASIES? No way! Now excuse me while I go save the world as an unstoppable musclebound ubermensch with an impossibly attractive chainmail-bikini girlfriend in a good old 90s RPG, back before the genre was just offering cheap power fantasies.
You just want gay and nigger shit in video games while we, normal people, don't.
Well the whole society is collapsing, this place is great all things considered. The site has been collapsing in slow-mo for like at least 5 or 6 years at this point. False. They are not making their game, but forcing devs to do so. And when you make a game that do not have what they want, they will complain about it everywhere, like what happened with Kingdom Come.Congrats, they followed the advice
