Well, I'm sure you'll be able to recreate the experience of looting individual bodies by slowly trimming your nose hairs one by one with a pair of rusted tweezers.

I assume it's an option and you'll still be able to loot individual bodies.

I'm pretty sure it will work that way.

I wouldn't assume that it's an option...

Why wouldn't it be? I'm sure the devs know that you don't want to pick up every piece of trash from a map.

So we can 'area loot' straight into our infinite stash? Hope there's an option to just convert everything on the screen into sweet cash to save the hassle of carting stuff around and selling it

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Serpent in the Staglands Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Kingmaker Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
It's good that they implemented this. Reviewers would raise a stink if the game wasn't on par in basic functionality with Beamdog's EEs.

Good. I am pretty ocd and remember doing shit like fighting to get every bit of fog of war removed and looting every single gibberling for a handleful of coin. Area looting will save me a lot of time.

Area looting doesn't mean auto looting, it means when you try to loot an individual body, you open all bodies in the vicinity.

Do you wanna bet or something? On a signature for a week.

I know it is not auto looting. What does vicinity means? If only a few meters around you, so basicly you can open the loot container of the creatures in the last battle, well it is not a big deal. If you open basicly the whole map's loot containers, than it is shit.

Bet's on. What will be the signature for the loser? :) Oh, and bet is on the release version, not the backer beta.

No need to worry that auto loot will cover the whole map. I'm sure it just covers a certain radius around the body you clicked, because that's how it was done every time I've seen that implemented. Whole map would be too extreme. Would be kinda dumb too.

I liked how WL2 did it. All the lootable objects nearby got listed, but they were separate.

Although I think there will be a seperate loot option, I don't know why Sensuki is against area looting. You don't lose anything with being able to see the loot of several nearby creature.

- Idk about Sensuki, but for me anything that draws PoE further away from BG2 is bad.
- Whenever I killed a tough party in BG2, I'd always rush to loot the dead leader, to study his loot. Then go study the mage's loot. Etc.... The whole concept is now gone.
- The area looting mechanism stinks of modern video games and is therefore immersion breaking.
- It takes away choice, however small it may be. I don't want to deal with the loot of everyone I killed, I'm only interested in that goblin shaman's loot, for instance.

Got it. Well I always looted everybody anyway, so this just saves me some time. :D If something is no value to me, I just don't pick it up, regardless if I found it on a boss or a smaller creature.
