Bring up Task Manager, leave it up.
Run PoE. Get in game. Make a note of the memory usage in Task Manager for PoE. (If you have a second monitor, putting the Task Manager on that second monitor can help a lot).
Wait for a period of time without doing anything in game.
Check the memory usage again in Task Manager and compare it to what it was before.

If the memory is substantially higher the second time, there may be a leak.

I found exactly what causes the FPS drop, it's when you move a character in the formation menu. The FPS drops and never comes back. It's not a memory leak.

I will pass that on. I hope that's enough.

Regardless I updated that in my thread here: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/66...-area-possibly-caused-by-opening-ui-elements/

Ok, so I replayed as a chanter, and I must say, combat was a lot more interesting, and the invocations do indeed feel more active. The game has promise after all :)

Combat is a custerfluck, more than in IE games.

And yes, chanters are really overpowered, after the first battle with beetles I was walking with an army of skeletons, playing like I would play an RTS.

Incidentally, my party army could not enter the ogre's cave, even when they were all stacked as close as possible at the entrance.

I am going to love this game way more than D:OS I can tell. Don't like some of Josh Sawyers Ideas, but the tone, art, style etc of this game is right where I like it. How long until its released like NOV or something? fuck..

So how is gameplay and story?
Is story better than Dorohedoro?

did you try the slow button? its quite handy for when things become too crowded and hectic (aka a clusterfuck). perhaps they can increase the speed a bit, but so far i think i'm using the slow button instead of spamming the pause button.

You could do that in all of the IE games. I cannot tell you how many times I tried to kill Jaheria.

They are attacking themselves. You character can't attack himself/herself in the IE games. You can attack other party members though.
