They need to sell 600k for break even and think they can maintain a $23.60 lifetime net price after discounts and platform fees. So their projected ASP is over $30 for the game's lifetime.
Assuming "platform fees" means the store's cut, that also suggests a budget of ~$14 million. A lot more ambitious than the first.

Oh boy, this will be fun. Game industry has been infiltrated by SJW. Can you remind me of a "misogeny" drama with some in game poem in PoE?
Oh man, the neon hair is always a dead giveaway.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
so far they have said:

- dynamic weather and NPC schedules
- almost no loading time (i am going to hold on them promise)
- new AI, pathing, etc basically the little annoyance that hold PoE 1 back

seems great so far, pillars was okay, white march fixed alot of wrong in pillars, and 2 seems to improve everything that they have built. also the new character model looks nice

Given the discounts this would more or less work for me as a glorified pre-order given they'd focus on how they're going to fix the major problems Pillars had (there's maybe one vague reference to encounter design and no mention at all of how heavy-handed the writing and the story were in the original game and what exactly they intend to do about that in the sequel) rather than spend most of the time talking about cosmetic improvements even though presentation was something hardly anyone ever complained about.

Backed - although it will cost me more than both POE and the expansion due to the substantial drop in the Aussie dollar since the original kickstarter...

I'm assuming you can carry your character over from the original. A bit disappointing that all that investment into the keep in the first PoE was for nothing in the end though.

Patel's current haircut is completely unsuited for her face. She looked much better with pixie cuts. Her husband's likely too much of an 00s-era Wyrmlord to tell her himself.

I see Obsidian's decided to forego the hassle of making DRM-free discs. I guess I should consider myself lucky to get one that will save me maybe a gigabyte, assuming they won't end up replacing the entire thing by the time they're finished patching.
