I will give this DLC praise for its encounter design. It demands from the player...

- Extensive knowledge of the game systems
- Knowledge of the environment
- Knowledge of different enemy types and their weaknesses
- Using different party synergies, equipment, and consumables.
- Being adaptable and changing strategies mid-fight


I often say that Pillars of Eternity 1 had some of the worse encounter design of any RPG, but SSS has some of the best. Most of the fights were designed by a junior level programmer too.
