Linux client! Fuck yeah, it's on GoG. Fuck Steam. $400 pesos. Fuck man. No whores this week.
Bros, I gave it a try. Mmmeh... eh... it's okay. It's fine.
I would love to play it a little bit more, but I'm stuck because of Raedric’s Keep Crash.
THANKS SAWYER!
Keep in the mind child killing was allowed in glorious Kwa. It's Germany and Australia that have a problem with that aspect.Killed a child just to check if the game allow it. (seems that those aren't essential, but some other characters might be)
Strangely, it got the same rating from ESRB than Fallout 3, in which half of the gameworld population is essential/unkillable.
I just got past the Keep too, and I want to spend allll my money pimping it out. Is there any negative to just sitting and letting time elapse until all your upgrades are finished building? I'd rather let those all finish up before I start adventuring again, but I don't want a quest to suffer or anything either.
It never had. Bethesda just doesn't want to make multiple versions of their games (and neither does any AAA). So they make it to be accepted by the German board and everyone else gets it.It seemed to me that, in the 90s it was accepted in some countries and not others, but these last few years, it became common to forbid it everywhere...
If Melcar's post hasn't made it clear: The manual gives less actual information than the game. So you've gotten your Brave New World. The only problem is that it lacks information* There is definitely not enough information provided for my liking in regards to "what everything does" moar feedback and explanation would be helpful. I haven't dug into the manual however, but in this brave new world of digital release, if they are going to save on printer costs and shipping they can put more of the information in game as far as I'm concerned.
It shows up under reputations I believe. Things like "clever" and "stoic".I was told my char got a point in a "Disposition". How do I check this? I don't see anything like that on the character screen.
I really liked how Baldur's Gate series solved this (ie. there were only a few items you could craft using hard to obtain ingredients and only by certain NPCs). In general, I dislike crafting - it creates imbalance, always turns into a chore and is simply not satisfying. I'm also a person that is paralyzed by such choices - always wondering if there's better stuff just around the corner and thus I should save my ingredients for later...* The enchanting weapon/armor system is jarring too. I think I would prefer to just be able to find epic shit, instead of collecting 1000x mats to create the ubersword somewhere down the line.
Thanks. I guess individual points aren't tracked, then.It shows up under reputations I believe. Things like "clever" and "stoic".I was told my char got a point in a "Disposition". How do I check this? I don't see anything like that on the character screen.
? Now, obviously, the ooze has corroded Calisca's weapon, in the noble tradition of Rust Monsters and various Oozes from the 80s, right? Wrong. There's nothing wrong with Calisca's weapon. I guess, maybe, that slashing weapons are completely ineffective against Oozes or something. Makes sense (in the Fantasy Pickwickian sense of making sense, of course).Ooze hits Calisca for 5 Corrode damage
[GAME PAUSED: weapon ineffective]
Are there really no weapon skills? Anyone can use a dagger or a pole arm?
No arrows / bolts?
Thanks. But what are those "Foci"? I didn't have any chance to choose them during character creation. Do you choose them later on?Are there really no weapon skills? Anyone can use a dagger or a pole arm?
There are Weapon Focus: Something that increases your proficiency with a group of weapons. There are about 6 types of weapon focus, grouped more or less by background/profession/social class.
