Haven't they sold all the rights to gothic and gothic remake was then done by thq nordic? Not really much loss, since their latest games[Elex, Elex 2] were mediocre.
I was just checking and yes Gothic™ is owned by THQ NORDIC AB. Oddly ELEX™ is owned by Beijing Elex Technology Co.,Ltd whatever the fuck that is.Haven't they sold all the rights to gothic and gothic remake was then done by thq nordic? Probably just some IP holder in case the company goes belly up, then the Elex IP still belongs to them since technically it is not owned by PB. I think Obsidian did the same with Deadfire and Co. before they got sold to Microsoft?Oddly ELEX™ is owned by Beijing Elex Technology Co.,Ltd whatever the fuck that is.
Once again, I present to you: FromSoftware. Still remaking that good old Demon Souls, to ever-increasing success. It's the same thing with bands, authors, any artist, and everything, really. Things have their golden period, then they plateau, and there's only one way from there.
That's a different trademark. The video game ELEX (in all caps) is owned by THQ Nordic: https://euipo.europa.eu/eSearch/#details/trademarks/014106199I was just checking and yes Gothic™ is owned by THQ NORDIC AB. Tavar please take this "ö" and kindly stick it up your össInfinitron please take this "ö" and kindly correct "Bjorn" to the correct "Björn".
On topic: Even though PB has been washed up for more than a decade, it's still sad to see them go. I have little hope in Pithead studios as I don't think that Björn and Jenny Pankratz understand what made Gothic 1 and 2 so great.
